Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a sixty minute time limit and it is for the Universal Wrestling League World Championship!!

Natural Born Killaz By Ice Cube and Dr. Dre starts playing throughout the arena. Smoke comes from the entrance way. As the smoke is clearing The Enforcer walks through the smoke and looks out at the crowd. Enforcer than walks down to the ring. He walks up the stairs on to the ring apron, looks out at the crowd and lifts his arms out to the side. Enforcer steps through the top and middle ropes. Enforcer walks over to the the opposite ring ropes and lifts his arms out to his side.

Cliff Morris - Anthony Cross has been waiting for this chance and tonight it's here in front of him.

The crowd is buzzing when suddenly the lights go out.



"Born for Greatness" by Papa Roach plays as the crowd buzzes, as the crowd goes nuts. The first verse plays out, causing more anticipation. As the verse comes to the end it pauses for a moment. All of the lights go out again, but then come right back on in full brightness!!!



Suddenly, Billy "The G.O.A.T." Danielson walks out from behind the curtain to a huge pop, as he makes his way down to the ring. He's in wrestling gear, high-fiving fans as he makes his way to the ring. He wipes his feet before going up to the apron, and into the ring. The fans continue to cheer as Danielson throws his arms in the air. He slowly backs into his corner and waits for the bell to ring.

Emily Lyle - In Recognition of the World Championship match here in Knoxville at the Thompson-Boling Arena that pits two of the finest wrestlers in the world today. In the persons of challenger Anthony Cross and champion Billy Danielson. This match is sanctioned under the authority of the National Wrestling Federation and presented by Universal Wrestling League.

Emily Lyle - From Brooklyn, New York, weighing two hundred and seventy five pounds, he is the Heritage Champion The Enforcer, Anthony Cross!!!

Cross looks straight across the ring at Billy Danielson not taking his eyes off of him.

Emily Lyle - From Chicago, Illinois, weighing two hundred and thirty five pounds, he is the Universal Wrestling League World Champion Billy Danielson!!

The referee takes the World Championship belt from Billy Danielson, turning slowly showing the belt to Cross before turning moving to the center of the ring holding the belt high in the air.

Cliff Morris - It's main event time. As we're about to see a battle for the richest prize in our sport the UWL World Championship!

They come out of their corners circling one another slowly. They lock up in a collar and elbow tie up, Cross pushes Danielson back. They lock back up again, they roll along the ropes. Danielson turns Cross along the ropes, the referee tries to get them off the ropes. Cross turns Danielson along the ropes forcing him to the corner, the referee calls for a break. Cross goes to step back, Danielson pushes him, he steps back, Danielson walks toward him. Danielson talks to the referee, he nods his head. They circle one another slowly around the center of the ring. Cross holds his hand out for a test of strength, Danielson moves around him. They lock up knuckles on one hand. They lock up slamming chest to chest with one another, neither giving a inch. Danielson walks Cross against the ropes, he slaps down his arm nailing him with a forearm strike. Danielson grabs Cross sending him in to the ropes. Danielson runs at him for a roaring elbow, Cross dodges out of the way, Danielson spins around looking at Cross as he backs up.

Cliff Morris - Neither man willing to give a inch!

Logan Acker - This is a battle of two of the best in the business!!

They lock back up. Cross runs Danielson against the ropes. Cross nails Danielson with a stiff right hand jab which stuns him. Cross goes to send him in to the ropes, Danielson reverses it. Cross runs off the ropes, Danielson runs at him for a big boot, which only grazes Cross. He comes back at Danielson nailing him with a repeated blows to face of Danielson. Cross backs up away from Danielson, he circles around. They circle one another again, slowly locking up. They both push on one another, neither giving a inch. Danielson takes Cross in to a headlock, he sends him off. Danielson runs off the ropes, Cross nails him with a back elbow which stuns Danielson. Cross grabs Danielson grabbing him around his throat, Danielson kicks Cross repeatedly in the leg with a pair of kicks.

They lock back up, Danielson takes Cross in to a side headlock. Danielson stands wrenching his arms tight around his head, Cross tries to get free, the referee checks on the hold. Cross walks Danielson to the corner, the referee calls for a break out of the corner. Danielson turns nailing Cross with a forearm strike which lands against the side of Cross’s head. Cross comes out of the corner kicking and kneeing Danielson, he stumbles back across the ring against the ropes. Cross stands staring at Danielson, he moves off the ropes circling around Cross.

Cliff Morris - It's a cat and mouse game at this point!

Logan Acker - The mind games play out.

They lock up. Cross takes Danielson in to a side headlock. Cross locks his arms tight around Danielson’s head adding pressure around his head, the referee checks on the hold. Cross takes Danielson over with a side headlock takedown. Cross turns on the mat nailing Danielson with a knees to the top of his head as he has him grounded on the mat. Cross forces Danielson back up. Cross grabs Danielson, he falls back locking him in the sleeper locking his arms tight around Danielson’s head. Cross locks the hold on, the referee checks on the hold. Danielson moves around, Cross locks the hold on.

Cross pulls back on the hold, Danielson moves around. Danielson rolls forward breaking Cross’s grip. Cross turns quickly around on his knees taking Danielson still holding to his head. They rise up, Danielson grabs Cross’s kicking him and hitting his leg with a pair of elbows landing flush into his leg, Cross stumbles against the ropes. Danielson runs at him going for his leg, Cross kicks Danielson back. Cross moves off the ropes, he shakes his leg, Danielson goes over his leg. Cross nails Danielson in the back of his neck with a elbow across the back of his neck. Cross grabs Danielson nailing him with punches, stiff European upper cut, and punches. Danielson staggers back. Cross moves toward him, Danielson nails him with forearm strike which stuns Cross. Danielson grabs around his head and turns him over nailing him with repeated knee lift strikes to the head of Cross.

Danielson rises up first, Cross slowly rises up too. Danielson runs at Cross nailing him with stiff European upper cuts which stun him. Danielson quickly grabs Cross places his leg across the middle rope. Danielson runs at Cross and kicks him in the leg. He steps back as Cross grimaces in pain. He runs at him hitting him with another running kick to his leg. Danielson has a intense look on his face. He grabs his leg jerking him around onto the mat. Danielson grabs him around his leg and locks him into a half Boston crab. He locks the hold on as Cross tries to get free, but he can’t free.

Cliff Morris - Danielson has a Boston crab locked on tight!!

Logan Acker - Cross has nowhere to go!

Danielson pulls back on the hold, Cross jerking on the hold. Cross reaches back grabbing the bottom rope, the referee calls for a break. Danielson is slow to break the hold, he finally lets loose of it. Cross rolls over to one knee, he rubs his leg and knee. Cross rises up, Danielson comes at him again, he kicks Danielson with a hard kick which stuns him landing flush into his chest. Cross backs up against the ropes and gets met with another kick to his leg. Danielson grabs him around his head and starts hitting him with repeated elbow hammers to the top of his head.

Cliff Morris - Billy Danielson pounds away on Cross again with elbows to the head of Cross!

Danielson starts hitting Cross with repeated kicks to his chest. He drops a elbow onto his leg. Cross leans against the ropes. He comes back at him again, but Cross shoves him back. He rises up slowly. Cross goes for a clothesline, but Danielson ducks under. He hits Cross with a chop block. He falls into the ropes and falls out to the ring apron.

Cliff Morris - Danielson hits him with a chop block!!

Logan Acker - Cross goes down hard on the ring apron!!

Danielson goes out to the floor. Danielson pulls Cross up, he sends him hard in to the guardrail. Cross lays against the guardrail. Danielson grabs a chair folding it up, he nails Cross repeatedly across his back with the chair. Danielson rises up, Cross is leaning over, Danielson kicks him with a stiff kick to the chest. Danielson hits him again with a hard kick to his chest as he leans against the guardrail. Danielson pulls his head forward and knees him in the side of the head stunning him.

Cliff Morris - These two beating the snot out of one another good grief this is a hard hitting battle!

Danielson jerks Cross up to his feet. He grabs him around his head into a headlock. Danielson nails him with a punch to the top of his head, Cross stumbles to the corner. Danielson runs in at him, Cross dodges out of the way, Danielson’s chest slams off the turnbuckles. Danielson turns moving slowly out of the corner. Cross runs at him Danielson nailing him with a clothesline that turns Danielson inside and out. Cross pulls Danielson up to his feet, he sends him to the ropes. Danielson runs off the ropes, Cross lifts him up turns throwing him down hard off the mat with a spinebuster. Cross covers him, the referee counts.

Cross gets over him on one knee. He starts punching away on Danielson with repeated punches. Cross jerks him up to his feet. He grabs him and drops him down with a Reverse Neckbraeker. He covers him, the referee counts.

Cross pulls him up to his feet. He sends Danielson into the corner. Cross runs in at him, but Danielson dodges out of the way as Cross slams chest first into the turnbuckles. Danielson steps back across the ring. Cross turns, Danielson runs at him and hits him with a running knee strike. He rises up slowly off the mat. Cross turns, Danielson connects with the Thinning the Herd (RKO). He covers him quickly, the referee counts.

Danielson starts hitting him with repeated kicks to his chest. He turns and knees him flush in the face. Danielson keeps hitting him with repeated knee strikes to the face of Cross. He pulls him up to his feet as Cross is out on his feet. Cross musters up enough and shoves Danielson back. He staggers back. Cross runs at him for a lariat, but Danielson ducks under. He runs across the ring comes off the ropes back at Cross and lands a ripcord knee strike. He comes back around grabbing the dazed Cross up and puts him down with the Franchise (Inverted Crucifix Bomb). The move took a lot out of Danielson. He slowly covers him, the referee counts.

Danielson looks up in shock. He rises up pulling Cross up with him. Cross is out on his feet. Danielson grabs him up and puts him down with the Franchise (Inverted Crucifix Bomb) again. He covers him, the referee counts.

The fans rise showing their respect for both grapplers.

Danielson sits on the mat and looks spent. The referee hands him the UWL World Championship belt. He takes the belt clutching it close to his chest.

Emily Lyle - The winner of this match and STILL!! Universal Wrestling League World Champion!! Billy Danielson!!

Cliff Morris - Danielson escaped one of the toughest, hardest hitting World Championship matches we've seen in 17 years of UWL!!

Danielson rises up slowly off the mat as Cross pushes aside the help to the back and makes his way up the aisle on his own refusing the help. Danielson stands in the ring as streamers fly into the ring to show the celebration of 17 years. Danielson throws the UWL World Championship belt over his shoulder as the streamers fly into the ring. As the streamers cover the ring, Robert Daniels slides into the ring pushing aside the streamers. He runs up to Billy and gets nose to nose with him.

Cliff Morris - What is Robert Daniels doing?! He just pushed aside the streamers and he is nose to nose with the World Champion!! Fans we're out of time goodnight everyone!!
