UWL Eruption 2-18-23

The picture cuts across the arena and cuts to the ring.



Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a sixty minute time limit or television time remaining and it is for the Universal Wrestling League World Championship!!

Natural Born Killaz By Ice Cube and Dr. Dre starts playing throughout the arena. Smoke comes from the entrance way. As the smoke is clearing The Enforcer walks through the smoke and looks out at the crowd. Enforcer than walks down to the ring. He walks up the stairs on to the ring apron, looks out at the crowd and lifts his arms out to the side.

Emily Lyle - From Brooklyn, New York, weighing two hundred and seventy five pounds, Anthony Cross!!

Enforcer steps through the top and middle ropes. Enforcer walks over to the the opposite ring ropes and lifts his arms out to his side.

Cliff Morris - Anthony Cross looks like he incredibly focused.

Logan Acker - Cross will need to keep his focus.

The crowd is buzzing when suddenly the lights go out.



"Born for Greatness" by Papa Roach plays as the crowd buzzes, as the crowd goes nuts. The first verse plays out, causing more anticipation. As the verse comes to the end it pauses for a moment. All of the lights go out again, but then come right back on in full brightness!!!



Suddenly, Billy "The G.O.A.T." Danielson walks out from behind the curtain to a huge pop, as he makes his way down to the ring. He's in wrestling gear, high-fiving fans as he makes his way to the ring.

Emily Lyle - From Chicago, Illinois, weighing two hundred and thirty five pounds he is the UWL World Champion Billy Danielson!!

He wipes his feet before going up to the apron, and into the ring. The fans continue to cheer as Danielson throws his arms in the air. He slowly backs into his corner and waits for the bell to ring.

The referee slowly walks over taking the World Championship belt from Danielson. He moves across the ring showing the belt to Cross. Slowly turning moving to the center of the ring holding the belt high over his head.



Cliff Morris - This match came about from on the February 4th edition of Eruption. When Anthony Cross attacked Billy Danielson after his third defense of the World Championship and put him through a table. UWL officials quickly made the match and here we are.

Logan Acker - These two have quickly become bitter rivals and once again they’ll battle for the richest prize in the sport the UWL World Championship!

Before the bell sounds, Cross runs at Danielson in the corner, throwing wild punches, as the bell sounds. Danielson tries to move out of the corner, but Cross pushes him back, punching at him in the corner. Cross goes to bite Danielson, but he comes back with a pair of punches of his own. Danielson turns Cross around in the corner; he grabs the second rope; Danielson looks around while punching Cross.

Cliff Morris - Billy Danielson punches away on Anthony Cross!

Danielson drops down off the second rope; he grabs Cross, pulling him out of the corner, and as he does, Cross kicks Danielson in the stomach, doubling him over. Cross runs at Danielson, nailing him with a running knee lift and staggering Danielson. Cross runs at him, nailing him with a clothesline and sending Danielson down to the mat. Cross pulls Danielson up off the mat, he pushes him against the ropes, nailing him across his chest with a vicious knife-edge chop. Cross grabs him around his wrist, and he pulls him around to send him into the ropes, but Danielson reverses it; he pulls Cross around, whipping him into the ropes. Cross runs back at Danielson, he leans over and flips Cross over onto the mat with a running knee strike. Cross stumbles to his feet; he falls back against the ropes.

Cliff Morris - Anthony Cross is dazed and confused as he falls to the ropes!

Danielson pulls him off the mat, and as he does, Cross leans into Danielson, hitting him in the stomach with a shoulder and taking Danielson down with a takedown. Cross jumps onto Danielson, punching away at him with violent punches. Cross rises to his feet; he stands over Danielson, stomping on him. Cross goes back into the corner, he moves onto the second rope, and he jumps off for a forward elbow drop, but Danielson rolls out of the way as Cross crashes into the mat. Cross stumbles to his feet, grabbing at his elbow and roaring in pain as Danielson rises to his feet. Danielson lifts Cross up and throws him onto the mat with a bodyslam. Cross stumbles to his feet as Danielson leans over, lifting him up onto his shoulder. He moves toward the corner, dropping Cross down onto the top turnbuckle with the snake eyes. Cross flips back over onto the mat as Danielson covers him.

2.. Kick out.

Danielson pulls Cross up to his feet; he leans him over, grabbing him around his head into a front facelock; he lifts Cross up for a suplex, but he floats around behind him. Danielson turns, and as Cross nails him in his stomach, doubling him over, he grabs him around the head and plants him with a DDT. Cross rises to his feet as Danielson lays flat on his back on the mat. Cross drops to his knees, and he leans over Danielson, nailing him with trapping headbutts. Cross rises slowly to his feet as Danielson rises off the mat. Cross catches Danielson with a big boot, which staggers Danielson. Cross grabs him around his arm, sending him down with a sidewalk slam. Cross floats over, covering him.

Cross stomps away on Danielson as he lays on the mat. Cross turns as he pulls Danielson up off the mat.

Cliff Morris - Anthony Cross was stomping Billy Danielson into the mat and walking him dry!

Cross pumbles him across his back with clubbing shots. Danielson gets up off the mat. Cross kicks him in his stomach, doubling him over. Cross grabs him around his neck, snapping his neck off the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. Cross slides out of the ring. Cross, he grabs a chair and folds it with force. Cross goes to slide back into the ring, and he steps through the ropes.

Cliff Morris - Anthony Cross has a chair!

Logan Acker - Anthony Cross better think this through. This one move could ruin the chance he has here tonight!

The referee jerks the chair out of Cross’ hands. Danielson nails him with a thunderous headbutt, which staggers Cross. Danielson grabs Cross around his head, lifting him up, throwing his legs off the ropes, and sending him back down with a suplex. Danielson turns, covering him, as the referee counts.

2.. Kick out!

Danielson rises up to his feet. He steps back across the ring. Danielson runs at Cross and nails him with a Ripcord Knee Strike. He quickly leaps onto him covering him, the referee counts.

Danielson rises up to his feet. He runs at the dazed Cross and goes for the Thining the Herd (RKO), Cross shoves him off. Danielson staggers across the ring. Cross runs at him full force hitting him with a lariat. He sends him into the ropes. Danielson comes off the ropes. Cross lifts him up into the air planting him down with a Spinebuster. Cross covers him, the referee counts.

.. Kick out!

Cross pulls him up to his feet. He leans him over, lifts Danielson up and throws him down with a Powerbomb. Danielson's back and neck slams off the neck as he lays motionless. Cross pulls the motionless Danielson up off the mat. Cross leans him over against, lifts him up as he does Danielson starts hitting Cross in the head with repeated punches. Cross drops Danielson as he grabs at his head. Cross runs at Danielson. He dodges out of the way as Danielson moves, Cross runs into the referee knocking him back into the corner.

Cliff Morris - The referee just got slammed into the corner!!

Danielson grabs Cross around his head as he does, Robert Daniels runs down the aisle.

Cliff Morris - What is Robert Daniels doing?!!

Daniels grabs a chair on the ring apron and throws it into the ring. Danielson runs at him and knocks him off the ring apron down to the floor. Cross nails Danielson with a lariat to the back of his neck. He turns him around and plants him down onto the chair with the Death Penalty (DDT).

Cliff Morris - NO!!

Cross shoves the chair out of the ring as Daniels turns with a smirk on his face. Cross covers him, the referee slowly crawls and slowly counts.

Cliff Morris - I can't believe it!!

Cross turns over on his back on the mat. He looks up with his hands over his face. The referee comes in with the World Championship belt.

Emily Lyle - The winner of this match and NEW!!! Universal Wrestling League World Champion Anthony Cross!!!

Cliff Morris - This makes the second championship Robert Daniels has cost Billy Danielson!

Logan Acker - Daniels is still lurking around with a smirk on his face!

Cross rises up slowly and takes the World Championship belt.

Cross celebrates in the ring with the World Championship as the show comes to a end.
