Ace and Nick are training, Ace and Nick are alternating kicking a heavy bag together. Each going harder and faster with each kick and Nick tries his best to loudly keep up with Ace’s kiai’s ( Hi-yahs! And ee-yahs!”)
Ace: It may sound silly, however the real reason for using kiai’s is controlling breathing and tightening core muscles which protect your stomach muscles
Nick: Thanks for the advice, Ace. I always focus on technical wrestling and high flying as my two styles. But you've been doing this a long time so I want to get a handle on your fighting style.
Ace: I focus on those two as well . Do you do any mixed martial arts grappling? How do you usually train your technical side ? In recent years I’ve added yoga to my submission game .
Nick: I use strong style and taekwondo grappling style and for my technical side I use old school chain wrestling for my technical side. I train in reversing my opponents move to catch them off guard.
Ace Sky: me too, you’ve probably noticed this too a lot of wrestlers especially younger guys they know the fundamental fine however I like to make the fundamentals as fierce as high octane stuff plus it’s fun for fans to watch. It’s tough to explain by words.
Ace points to the dojo mat
Ace: wanna roll, show me what ya got?
Nick: Okay let's do it.
They start by kneeling, Ace grabs him a front face lock attempting a wrist lock to go for the hammerlock/ Kimura. Nick counters into a Fujiwara Armbar.. Ace smirks impressed and enjoying the struggle in a seemingly deranged level of competitive spirit, he escapes with the classic headstand-front handspring followed up with a la-magristal/ Oklahoma roll type maneuver into a cross arm breaker-triangle choke type submission hold Nick powers out by lifting Ace Sky in the air with one arm and connects with a one arm sit out Powerbomb. Nick breathes for a moment then connects with an arm trap Crossface.
Ace struggles for quite a while , a few minutes even nearly passing out , he manages to regain some wind back and reaches up with his free hand to grab his wrist and yank at it as he contorts his frame to a kneeling position with Nick attempting to transition it into a crossface chicken wing as Ace manages to escape and hunches down grabbing the leg with a single leg takedown transitioning into the Indian death lock style knee lock Nick transitioned the Indian death lock into a sharpshooter but goes to the Arm trap Crossface again.
Ace taps out.
Ace: you are really good man
Nick; Thanks Ace but I’m not the best technical wrestler in the business but I try to be better.
Ace: all we can do is just try and be better of course . So who do you think we will end up-facing
Strike 2 Kill or Steak & Gravy?
Nick: I think Strike 2 Kill will win. They are more of a tag team than me and you Ace. But I think we can take them to their limit if we face them.
Ace: I agree, I have a good feeling about our chances of victory
Nick: Me too my friend and at the next pay per view we are going to retain the UWL Tag Team Titles whoever wins the tag team match.
Ace smirks at the camera as fist bump each other ,
Ace clasps his fist into his other palm and bows
