"Losing sucks. No one likes to lose, but it happens. Doesn't mean it's the end. Sometimes you gotta learn to lose before you understand how to win."
The UWL logo fades in and out, and the opening scene shows Cory Chevelle, sitting with his back to a fallen tree and a fire in front of him. It's a cool late summer evening at the Chevelle homestead. Chevy sits there, poking at the fire with a stick, his eyes fixated on the flames as they dance around on the logs.
"Jackson Burnside.. congratulations. However, I always say it ain't over til it's over and JB... it ain't over."
Chevy rises up, now looming over the fire from the opposite side.
"I challenged you to fight, JB. If you think it's one and done, I got another thing coming for ya because I intend to challenge you until I beat you Jackson. Until I've broken you.. I don't care if the Heritage or the UWL Television Championship is on the line. Because you know... I realized something. Those titles; No matter who held em or their history, no matter who's holding them currently.. They really are treated as second or third rate championships.. I'm not lower man on the totem pole, and I don't think you are either. What was there left for me to do with the UWL Television Championship? Nothing. Been there. Done that. But now I'm done pretending like I could do it again when my sights are on more, Jackson."
"So I thank you for the lesson and helping me realize the favor you've done me in relieving me of the UWL Television Championship. But our fight isn't over big fella. I got a lot more for ya!
Chevy chuckles, standing up as he goes to a wood pile and throws another log on the fire.
"By the way, hope you like the package."
"So September 16th, at Explore Asheville.com arena- God Damn that's a stupid name! Asheville is gonna witness something special! It's me and that crazy peckerwood BRADDOCK, ya gotta say his name like that I guess. Anyway, we're against the two men who hold all the gold in UWL. Well, almost anyway. Jackson Burnside and Daron Smythe himself. The UWL Television AND Heritage Champion teaming up with the UWL World Heavyweight champion... Ohh my!"
Chevy spits into the fire, then reaches for a jar of containing a clear liquid. He opens it up, takes a swig then tosses his head back exhaling slowly. He takes another sip, spits it towards the fire creating a swirl of flame. Chevy sits back down against the fallen tree, but his eyes peek over the the fire just enough to make him appear more ominous.
"I want all of UWL to pay attention to this match. Two birds. One stone folks. The beating isn't over yet Jackson. I need more. As for Smythe.. you're the man I desire to beat the most. So I hope BRADDOCK comes in like he did at the last show. Because he and I are gonna leave that arena awe stricken and silent. UWL needs a new era..."
"And it's coming."
Chevelle takes another swig.
"Bout time you all start learning... ain't no heroes here. "
The scene fades to black.
