The video begins with Abby Joseph standing with Cyrus Rinaldi inside a television studio.
Abby Joseph: I'm here with Cyrus Rinaldi for a UWL YouTube exclusive. Cyrus, how does it feel...
Cyrus Rinaldi: Shut up!
Abby is taken aback.
Cyrus Rinaldi: I've been cutting promos for 20 years! You think I need you setting me up with some stupid question? I know exactly what I want to say and how I want to say it, so all you need to do is hold that microphone in front of my face and let me do all the talking.
He looks at the camera.
Cyrus Rinaldi: What you’re looking at right here is someone who should have been on your television screens for a long time now. My name is Cyrus Rinaldi. I’ve been a professional wrestler for 20 years, and the reason you may have never seen my face is because I’ve been held down by the promoters in charge of this business.
You see, in the pro wrestling BUSINESS, the people in charge don’t like it when the wrestlers question their decisions and have minds of their own. Unfortunately, I don’t have what it takes to keep my mouth shut. If I think something is bullshit, I call it bullshit. When I think something sucks, I say that it sucks.
But we have too many promoters and too many executives who don’t want to hear the truth. They have too many yes men around them telling them that everything they think is wonderful. Because of that, I’ve had to languish on the independent scene. All these years, I’ve had to wrestle in bingo halls and VFW halls and high school gyms and armories. I’ve had to make next to no money. I’ve had to scrape and claw my way to some good paydays while people not as talented as me, who haven’t paid their dues like me, shot up the ranks of this industry and made it to any national or worldwide promotion you can think of.
But now, after all the work I’ve put in and all the backstabbing I’ve had to endure, UWL decided to sign me to a contract. It may be the smartest thing this promotion has ever done, because believe me, I am the absolute best wrestler in the world. I am the number one unrealized piece of talent in this business and I have a lot of lost time to make up for. There’s a lot of money I should have earned, a lot of championships I should have won, a lot of accolades I should have achieved, and a lot of TV time I should have had.
And to any of the young lions out there who have a problem with me and think I’m past the age where I should be considered the number one guy in this business, I’m going to tell you this: I had to step aside and watch no-nothing dipshit kids like you take what should have been mine. Shut your mouth, open your eyes and ears, and watch someone who can teach you a thing or two about how to be a professional wrestler. Then, when I decide that it’s time to retire, when I’ve collected all the money I need to live out my golden years comfortably, when I’ve won all the championships I need to be considered a hall of famer, when I’m SATISFIED with everything I’ve done with my career, then, and only then, you can all have your days in the sun.
Until then, get in line behind me and watch how a professional gets it done.
He looks back at Abby.
Cyrus Rinaldi: You can put your arm down now, Sweetie. I'm done.
He walks off camera while Abby watches him walk away with a disgusted look on her face.
