Get your nuts back
The first shot on the viewers screens is a shot of castrated bull testicles laying on a table, still bloody. Then the camera pans upward, and we see UWL World Heavyweight Champion, Cory Chevelle standing in the back of the room. He's the blood from his hands, it's been a long day at the farm. But that's the thing, long day or not, Chevy never gets tired of clipping off nuts.
And his approach to his opponents in the ring would be no different. Especially during Coronation Cup time. Chevelle approaches the table, his strides appearing nearly ominous as he moves into the light.
"I'm mailing these to you Jackson Burnside. Because for all your talk, you seem to have lost yours."
Chevy tosses the bloody rag aside and moves in closer, leaning forward on the table.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I am Cory Chevelle and I am the UWL World Heavyweight Champion! I know I don't need to introduce myself to you all though. That's not why I did it. I did so because some of you seem to forget. I've heard paper champ, I've heard placement champ. I've heard my records being cushioned and padded..."
"You know what I haven't heard?"
"If all that be true, why the hell aren't any of you stepping up and taking that belt away from me? Because y'all have ran your mouthes and when I look at the archives I see some of you have, oh my, this guy's got a good streak going. Ope, he just lost to someone half his size or whatever have you."
"Say what you want, because you're all talking out of your ass and it shows. Since my return to the UWL I have been the one most consistent every show. I don't miss any dates. You're not going to see an episode of Eruption without seeing me there and you know why? Because for as much as I don't think too highly of many of my colleagues, I do admire and respect the history of the UWL. I respect those that came before me and I respect what they done. You don't see that much anymore because now everyone's so wrapped up in wanting to be, but they have no idea of what or who was."
"I'm not going anywhere for a long time.,"
"And neither is that belt. 2024 is my year folks, get use to it. Don't like it? Get up off your ass and give me a challenge for a change then."
