Scene One: Passion Comes From Something.
This was the summer of 2008 and the day started like any other, everything was going well until the phone call. Everything good in life just disappeared when I heard the bad news. I drove to the General Hospital in my hometown, faster than the speed limit asks for, trying to hold the tears back but I couldn't. My eyes were full of tears as I made it up to the second floor. There, the doctor was standing by room 112. The doctor opened the door and I saw her. She was beautiful, sitting in her bed, a smile on her face. I stood there in the door way. The doctor left us alone. I walked up to her as she was taping the edge of the bed, giving me a spot to sit down. I sat and began to speak.
Blade LaVigne: ..Mama....
I couldn't hold it in and I put my head into her lap and began to cry. She places her right hand on my head and with her left hand, she wiped a tear from her eye. She spoke.
Mom: Oh, it's alright my son. Everything will be fine...It's just my time.
Blade picks up his head and looks at her, she's smiling.
Blade LaVigne: How are you smiling right now mama?
Blade's mother wipes the tears away from her son's eyes.
Mom: I know you and your brothers will be safe without me. I did my job here on this earth. I brought up four smart and strong boys. It's just my time Blade.
Blade LaVigne: You were, are the best mama...I'm going to miss you...
Mom: And I shall miss you but...
She grabs Blade's hand and places it on his chest.
Mom: I will always be in your heart.
Blade LaVigne: I love you mom.
Mom: I love you too Blade.
The memory fades and we are now with Blade LaVigne inside of his home. In his living-room, Blade sits on a couch with a camera set up infront of him. Blade looking into the camera and begins to speak.

The doctors gave her 6 months.
She died a week later. She had cancer. My mother fought that nasty disease for 11 months. She was my best friend. My mother is the reason why I give everything I have towards everything that I do. Inside and outside of work. She's the reason why I put my body on the line week in and week out, no matter what wrestling company I've worked for. She has always been there for me and I know she's with me every second of my life. Every time I step into that ring, she's with me, always.

I love what I do, I love wrestling but without her, none of this would be possible. I owe everything I know, and everything I have, to her. My mother was a strong, strong woman and now, I must be strong without her, every day. It's been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but for me to continue to be successful in life and in my profession, I must stay strong. My mother gave me the strength to keep going and to keep pushing through any and all adversity.
She's the reason I'm the man I am today. Without her, I don't know how I would've ended up.

Last week, I failed. I can admit that.
My goal was to walk out of Grand Voyage with the TWN Championship and as your new TWN Champion. I had the strap in my hands, I felt it. I had Cyrus down for the count, I was THIS close but "almost" and being "close" doesn't cut it in this profession. For that, my hats off to you Rinaldi. But let's get one thing straight, you don't know me. Barely anyone truly does. We are not friends and honestly, we probably will never be friends. But that's okay. Really. You walk around these halls with your one liners and your little winning streak, like you're the MAN!

I'm okay with a lot of things. Make fun of my catch-phrase, make fun of the way I talk but you will not sit there and try to break my character down. You think I'm a, what did you call me, a jabroni, okay Dwayne, relax. And I appreciate the advice but if YOU truly had a brain, you wouldn't discredit my ability inside that square circle! The nerve to say, "try to be more like a professional wrestler and less like a comedy writer." You have jokes yourself Cyrus.

Watch the footage back, I beg you. Watch it once, and again, and in slow motion so you finally see. I had you beat. I know, you know and those UWL fans know that you merely escaped our match as champion. You aren't a real champion. The way you won that title and the way you beat me proves it. You're a coward and we all can see it. But hey, you're right, you are STILL champion...Good for you. I'm not going anywhere Cyrus. I'm here to stay and at any moment, I'll be ready to strike and I'll end your little run as champion. Be warned, if I get another opportunity at that championship, I won't make the same mistakes.
