ROA Wrestling News – 6/29/17
We want to thank everyone for making ROA 15 – Power Surge a great event. Thank you to everyone who made this event such a special night. Now on with the news.
Mark Storm is the new ROA Champion. Mark Storm beat Chris Crippler in a great match up. Chris Crippler didn’t wait long to head to ROA officials asking for a rematch. ROA officials have yet to grant the request. We’ll keep everyone up to date on this situation as it happens.
Stephen Callaway walked away from ROA 15 – Power Surge as the new Horizon Champion. Stephen Callaway has already told ROA officials he will address the crowd at ROA 16 in Providence.
New Endurance Champion Erik Scorpion has no time to enjoy the title win. Grayson Hunt laid down the challenge to the Endurance Champion, and ROA officials have granted his request. Erik Scorpion will defend the Endurance Title against Grayson Hunt at ROA 19 in New Orleans on, August 19th.
Kevin Moss was able to win the LA Street Fight at ROA 15 - Power Surge. Kevin Moss now says he wants to set his sights on bigger matches in ROA. Just who does he have his eyes on? We'll find out soon enough.
Once again Stephen Moore came out at ROA 15 - Power Surge to announce the debut of his client, James-Michael Drake. Once again Mr. Moore failed to deliver, and Drake was nowhere to be seen. Monday morning Moore sent out a tweet in which he intimated his client will be gunning for the new ROA Champion, Mark Storm. Moore has promised everyone that JMD will make his debut at ROA 16, but one has to question his sincerity. People are beginning to wonder where Drake is. What will happen when (perhaps more importantly, if) he shows up in two weeks in Providence?
On, July 29th, ROA will be apart of an event bringing together ROA, Lion’s Road, Seattle Pro, and Shining Road for one night only in this joint card from Madison Square Garden. The event will be titled, “FUSION”. Each promotion will have two matches from their respective promotions. The main event will feature, ROA Champion Mark Storm taking on Seattle Pro Champion Billy Danielson in a champion vs. champion, Non-Title, Battle of Champions. This will be a great night of wrestling action you won’t want to miss.
At ROA 16, the ROA Tag Team Championship will be defended in a Round Robin Challenge. Who will walk out of ROA 16 the ROA Tag Team Championship? We'll find out, July 8th in Providence.
A new ROA Championship belt is being made. ROA officials hope to present the new ROA Championship belt as soon as possible.
Welcome The Beetle to the ROA roster.
