Entrance Description:
Finishing Moves
1. (Primary Finisher)
The #1 and Done - A fisherman suplex with a unique twist. Upon hitting the canvas, Smythe twists over into a small package/inside cradle type position, locking his legs around the free leg of the opponent for extra leverage.
2. (Desperation Finisher)
The Superkick - Sure, in 2022, the Superkick is not what it once was. However, Smythe's mastery of the technique is so strong that he only uses it at the right time, when the opponent has been sufficiently worn down.
Signature Moves
1. Running knee to the head - while having the opponent doubled over in the center of the ring, Smythe hits the far ring ropes and runs back with a devastating knee strike to the side of the head
2. Hip toss into neckbreaker - aka The Hypnobang
3. Michinoku Driver/Sit Out Body Slam
4. Superplex
5. Piledriver
Regular Moves
1. Suplex
2. Swinging Neckbreaker
3. Backbreaker
4. Repeated Irish Whips into opposite corners
5. Drop Kick
6. European Uppercut
7. Power Slam
8. Short Arm Clothesline
9. Side Russian Leg Sweep
10. Rolling neck whip a la Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig
Brief Bio: Smythe, born and raised in the small town of Wheeling, West Virginia, broke out in the local independent scene in the late 90s and early 2000s, focusing on the Pittsburgh area wrestling circuit. It was heavily rumored in 2008/2009 that Smythe was on the verge of signing a contract to compete for then TNA Wrestling (now IMPACT Wrestling). Suddenly and mysteriously, Smythe disappeared altogether from professional wrestling. Videos and promos have appeared on social media of Smythe attempting to make a comeback - what is he looking to accomplish? Why did he disappear for so long? Does he still have what it takes to make it in wrestling? At 39 years old, he is certainly past his prime years, but if recent wrestling history has taught us anything, it's that wrestlers are flourishing later and later in their lives. What does Smythe have left in the tank?

The lights dim in the arena and the words "I AM #1" flash on the video screen...

The house lights come back up and standing in the center of the stage, holding a single finger high in the air, is #1 Daron Smythe. Smythe looks out at the crowd, some holding up their own version of the single finger salute, as he saunters down the aisle towards the ring, confidently keeping that finger in the air as he steps through the rope and climbs to the second rope in one corner of the ring.
