TV Taping 12-14-05

The show comes back from a commercial showing Barry Sharpe and Fred Overstreet setting at the broadcast table.

Barry Sharpe: I don’t know what to say what just happened in the ring was uncalled for!!

Fred Overstreet: That was I am speechless

Barry Sharpe: Well we still have a match to call so lets go up to the ring for our main event!

UWL Heritage Championship: Seymour Boner vs. Josh Eagles

The arena goes dark. 3 pyros go off as I and me plays. He walks down to the ring and slides into the ring.

Barry Sharpe: Seymour Boner looks to be ready for this match up

Lights go out as the Canadian flag play across the
video screen... the lights come up flashing red and white everywhere and Josh
Eagles makes his way onto the ramp! He comes down the ramp taunting the
crowd, slides into he ring and climbs one turnbuckle and taunts the crowd.

Gene Hamilton: The following contest is presented and sanctioned by Universal Wrestling League and is set for one fall with a forty five minute time limit and it is for the UWL Heritage Championship!

Gene Hamilton: Introducing first he weighs in tonight at 235 pounds and he hails from Bronx, New York he is Seymour Boner!!

Gene Hamilton: Now his opponent he weighs in tonight at 190 pounds and he hails from St. Catharines Ontario Canada he is “The Canadian Eagle” Josh Eagles!!

The referee walks to the center of the ring holding the championship belt high in the air for everyone to see then hands the belt outside to the timekeeper and calls for the bell.

Barry Sharpe: This match is going to be something special

Both men come at each other slowly as they go to lock up Seymour catches Josh with a stiff kick to the midsection that stuns Josh. Seymour comes at Josh hitting him with stiff forearm shots across the back. Seymour grabs Josh whipping him to the ropes running at him hitting him with a clothesline that takes both of them up and over to the floor on the outside.

Barry Sharpe: This can’t be good with these two on the floor.

Seymour gets to his feet lying in on Josh with stiff kicks to the head that stuns Josh back down to the floor. Seymour pulls Josh to his feet Seymour whips Josh into the guard rails with him hitting them and falling over them into the crowd in serve pain. Seymour climbs over the railing and pulls Josh up to his feet hitting away on him with a hard stiff punch to the face that rocks Josh.

Barry Sharpe: They are fighting in the crowd and the referee is not counting because of the importance of this match

Seymour goes to hit Josh who blocks Seymour and hits him with a punch of his own Josh begins fighting Seymour back. Josh grabs Seymour around the neck dragging him beside of him. Josh pulls Seymour back over the railing and shoves him into the ring. Seymour is begging Josh off but Josh hits Seymour with a hard kick to the face that knocks Seymour down onto the mat holding his face in pain. Josh stands over Seymour leaping up and coming down with a standing moonsault down over Seymour Josh covers Seymour the referee counts 1..2 kick out.

Barry Sharpe: That was a close call on that pin

Fred Overstreet: Yes it was, but if Josh would have hooked the leg then he might have gotten the fall

Josh gets to his feet he pulls Seymour up to his feet and whips him to the ropes as Seymour comes off Josh runs and hits Seymour with a running clothesline that knocks Seymour down to the mat. Josh climbs up to the second rope positioning him self Josh leaps off the second rope as he does Seymour gets a boot up and hits Josh in the face knocking Josh down to the mat.

Barry Sharpe: That is why they are called high-risk moves!


Seymour gets to his feet and pulls Josh up hitting him across the chest with a stiff chop that knocks Josh back against the ropes. Seymour grabs Josh and whips him to the ropes as Josh comes off Seymour runs at Josh and nails him with a lariat that knocks Josh down to the mat. Seymour stands over Josh finally pulling him up Seymour grabs Josh pulling Josh’s head down and picking him up and dropping him down with a hard powerbomb that drops Josh down hard across his back. Seymour falls down on his knees screaming that it is over, the referee counts 1…2 kick out!

Barry Sharpe: There is still fight left in Josh Eagles!!

Fred Overstreet: That is that never say die attitude that Josh has he will not give in to anything!

Seymour gets to his feet in shock Seymour signals that the match is over he pulls Josh to his feet Seymour grabs Josh picking him up Seymour positions Josh he sets him up for the bonification and drops him down hard to the mat.

Barry Sharpe: This could be it!!

Seymour covers Josh the referee counts 1..2 Josh got his foot on the bottom rope just before the referee’s hand fell for three. Seymour can’t believe it he get to his feet he begins to scream at the referee Josh slowly pulls himself to his feet. Josh gets to his feet he sees Seymour screaming at the referee he comes behind Seymour whipping him around hitting him with a hard punch across the face. Josh whips Seymour to the ropes knocking him down with a hard clothesline that knocks Seymour down onto the mat. Josh pulls Seymour up to his feet Josh grabs Seymour picking him up and dropping him down with a hard vertical suplex that drops Seymour down hard on his back. Josh gets up quickly going out on the apron and quickly climbing the ropes, Josh comes off with the eagles landing that connect hard down the chest of Seymour. Josh gets up quickly going back out on the apron Josh runs up the ropes and comes off again with the eagles landing.

Barry Sharpe: Josh just hit the eagles landing twice could this be it!!

Josh covers Seymour hooking his leg as the referee counts 1..2…3

Winner: New UWL Heritage Champion Josh Eagles 19:41

Barry Sharpe: Josh Eagles has done it, he has done it!!

The referee hands Josh the championship belt as he celebrates his title win as the fans rise to there feet applauding the match they just have saw.

Josh stands in the center of the ring as confetti falls from all over the arena.

Barry Sharpe: What a night of action we have saw here tonight, don’t forget next week we will have the first match in the tournament to crown our first ever UWL Heavyweight Champion.

Barry Sharpe: Fans we are out of time for Fred Overstreet and Kip Anderson and the rest of us here good night everyone see you next week!!
