The show returns from a commercial break to find Lance, leaning on the wall away from the curtains, pondering the match at hand. He smiles to himself as the thought of Joel Robinson perhaps... winning... comes to mind.
It is at that particular moment that Lance is approached by the very interviewer he had decimated nights ago. Lance looks up and his smile stretches the limits. Standing before him is the youthful prick, his face adorned with a nose-support and a black eye.
Lance Fiennes- Ah you... I never got your name, son.
Interviewer- U-u-uh... Henry Williams.
Lance- Well, Mr. Williams, please, go on with the questions.
Mr. Williams- Yes, well... regarding your match tonight... are you confident in the result?
Lance smiles and stands up straight, shifting his back from its leaning state.
Lance- There you go, pissing me off again. Of course I'm confident... I'm dead set! This Joel Robinson is a walk in the park, too horrid to be referred to as a stepping stone. He is a bug, a pansy, and a damn fake! And he thinks that a few months of jobbing will put an end to the career of a man with 16 years of Professional Wrestling experience on his shoulders?
Mr. Williams clears his throat and lightly shakes his head, not wanting to set off Lance again.
Lance- Mr. Williams, I'll tell you right now, that if you're wanting to get some easy money... sell your house and all your belongings, get all the money you can scrape together and bet Lance Fiennes for the match that is next.
Suddenly, Lance hears his music playing, and he nods to Mr. Williams, pushing past him, moving swiftly to the curtains awaiting his introductions.

UWL Heavyweight Title Tournament - Semi Finals Jason Christopher vs X
Gene Hamilton: Ladies and Gentlemen, this next match is scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit. It is the semi-final match of the UWL Heavyweight Title tournament, introducing first from Phoenix, Arizona, he weighs in at two hundred and twenty five pounds...."The Kingslayer" Jason Christopher!
The opening riff of "Stockholm Syndrome" by Muse booms over the speakers as a white strobe light is seen near the entrance way. The Drums kick in as the arena's lights start to flash blue and white along with the Drums. At the 0:23 mark, "The Kingslayer" Jason Christopher bursts through the curtain and raises his arms in an X formation. He lowers his arms, scaning the arena before walking toward the Ring. He walks around Ringside before climbing the steel steps and hoping on the turnbuckle. Jason shouts a battle cry and again raises his arms in an X formation before hoping into the Ring. Jason bounces off the ropes to test the Ring, before he hops on the middle ropes and raises his arms to the crowd with a smirk on his face. Jason jumps off the rope and goes to lean on the nearest turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.
Barry Sharpe: Referee Keith Watson is talking with ring announcer Gene Hamilton, so I'm assuming that the opponent will be introduced shortly.
Gene Hamilton: Ladies and Gentlemen, referee Keith Watson has informed me that Jason Christopher's opponent will be drawn randomly out of a hat. Every name that is currently contracted in the Universal Wrestling League is in this hat, so without any further delays, let us draw the name...
Keith Watson puts his hand in and sorts around before pulling out a sheet of paper, unfolding it, and reading it.
Keith Watson: Jason Christopher's opponent for the semi-final round of the UWL Heavyweight Title tournament is....
Gene Hamilton: His opponent...from Owen Sound, Ontario. He weighs in at two hundred and twenty pounds, he is "Lionheart" Teddy Davis!!!
"Kings of Metal" by Manowar hits the sound system as the lights flash between blue and purple, smoke rises and Teddy Davis emerges from the back dressed in his wrestling attire and his black leather jacket. He walks down to the aisle before reaching ringside where he strikes the Straight Edge taunt, he climbs up onto the apron and jumps over the top rope before going to his corner and taunting some more.
Barry Sharpe: Jason Christopher and all of us, thought that Davis was injured and staying home for the holidays!
Fred Overstreet: Now he is here for the 3rd UWL TV Taping to fill the empty spot, and take on Jason Christopher!
The two men circle one another before engaging in a collar and elbow tie up, Davis is quick to take Christopher off of his feet with a side headlock takedown. Christopher gets him back onto his knees and Davis cranks on the hold some more before they return to their feet and Christopher whips Davis off the ropes, he comes back on the return and Christopher ducks down and Davis jumps over due to the momentum. Jason goes back to a standing position and leap frogs over Theodore as he is running, Davis hits the ropes again and once again Christopher drops down to the mat. Jason Christopher gets ready to leap again but Davis holds onto the ropes.
Fred Overstreet: The more experienced Teddy Davis seems to be playing mind games with the "Kingslayer"
Jason steps forward with a forearm shot but Teddy ducks it and slides between his legs, Jason hits the ropes sternum first and Teddy locks him in a waistlock but Jason quickly maneuvers into a waistlock of his own before running forward and trying to bounce Teddy off the ropes into a pinning predicament. However, Teddy holds onto the ropes and Jason does a back roll. Jason fips up and Teddy runs toward him, Jason tries for a hip toss but Theodore blocks and tries for a lariat but Christopher ducks it and applies a waistlock before rolling Davis up into a pinning predicament for only a one count.
Fred Overstreet: These are two wrestlers that are no strangers to one another's style. Teddy was trained in Japan under Masahiro Chono in the New Japan Dojo while Christopher spent some time over in MAX Japan where he gained the alias of "Kingslayer" for defeating their heavyweight champion in a non-title match, and for a rookie gaijin to beat the champ, you'd have to bet that this kid is good.
Both men get back to their feet and Christopher once again charges off the ropes and looks for a hip toss but Davis counters it and hip tosses Jason, the frusterated kingslayer rolls out of the ring and Davis bounces off the ropes and dives for the ropes closest to Jason but bounces back off of them, faking him out. Christopher turns to taunt the crowd and Davis comes over the top looking for a plancha but Christopher scurries away to the corner post but Davis lands on the apron and hits a running dive off the apron to the floor on the Kingslayer.
Barry Sharpe: Teddy climbs back into the ring and Jason in on all fours.
Davis climbs into the ring and signals for a topei and runs off the ropes, Christopher climbs back into the ring unbeknownest to his opponent and runs up and nearly takes his head off with a running dropkick on the already running Teddy Davis. Davis rolls around on the mat in pain from getting kicked in the bruised forehead which is all sorts of colours now, as Christopher uses this time to regain his breath. The Kingslayer gets to his feet and charges after Davis and picks him up by the hair, he picks him up and drops him head first (as opposed to throat first) off the top rope, Davis lands back on his feet but pushes away Christopher as he struggles to get a breath or two.
Fred Overstreet: In case you're wondering what's going on, Davis was dropped on his forehead due to a botched powerslam at one of our affiliate promotion's shows and has been hurting ever since that day.
Barry Sharpe: And Christopher is going to no doubt utilize this throughout the match.
Davis goes over the corner and holds himself up as Christopher walks over and hits him with several elbow shots to the forehead and neck area, Davis falls to a seated position and Jason pushes his boot into the neck of Davis causing him to writhe in pain as Watson gives the five count. He releases at four and mouths off with the referee allowing Davis a bit of lee way time, Davis gets up and sneaks up on Christopher and delivers a beautiful looking german suplex and holds the bridge as Watson counts, 1.....2.....Kickout!
Barry Sharpe: Ah, you can see the noticable effect on Teddy's head/neck on his face.
Fred Overstreet: That is right, he took the brunt of Christopher's weight ontop of him with his head with the bridge.
Jason gets up and elbows Teddy in the forehead and neck before grabbing him by the hair and hitting repeated headbutts, Davis stays wobbly and gets a release Tiger Suplex from the Kingslayer. He summons the fighter's spirit and gets to his feet to the cheer of the crowd and hits the Canadian Lariat on Christopher as the crowd roars in approval, he falls though, finally feeling the effect of the suplex.
Barry Sharpe: Teddy could have won right there but the effects were felt.
Both men get to their feet at the same time and Christopher headbutts Davis several times but he just fires back with forearms and eventually chops, the two chop the living hell out of one another before Davis goes for the Canadian Lariat. Christopher ducks it and Davis bounces off the ropes, Jason tries for a running knee but Davis ducks that and Jason lands on the top rope with the knee. Teddy uses this to his advantage and chops him some more causing him to fall onto his head off the ropes, Teddy picks him up by the hair and hits the Lion Bomb for a two count. Davis picks him up again and Jason fires with a punch combo, Teddy blocks a left punch but Christopher uses his right arm to deliver a nasty Canadian Lariat of his own. Davis falls down and is motionless as Watson holds Christopher back and gives Davis a ten count, at five, he isn't moving, at nine, he's just beginning to stir, the bell sounds and Watson raises the hand of Jason Christopher.

Barry Sharpe: Jason Christopher is living up to his name here in UWL, the Kingslayer. He's already defeated the UWL Heritage Champion and he's defeated an international star here tonight in Teddy Davis.
Davis sits on all fours and looks up at Christopher and extends his hand out of respect and sportsmanship but Christopher kicks Davis in the forehead and sends him back to the mat before leaving the ring.
