Camera fades in as Daron Smythe is wheeling his suitcase out of the building after the 10/29 edition of Eruption. Abby Joseph is scrambling to get a few words from Daron before Daron exits the building...
Abby: Daron! Daron! Big win tonight over Isaiah Hunter, how do you feel after the win?
Daron: I don't ever look past anyone and I sure didn't tonight. Isaiah's a tough competitor, hasn't caught the breaks he's wanted lately, and I knew he was going to give me everything he had. I needed that sort of test to get ready for the bright lights and big city of Chicago, Illinois - Championship Extravaganza is going to be something else, can't wait to get Nick Danger in the ring and take the UWL Television Championship...
Abby: We saw Nick Danger on commentary tonight, are you worried that's he's out here scouting you? Do you think he picked up anything by watching the match?
Daron: I have to be honest with you Abby, Nick disappointed me a bit tonight. Being a champion is really important to me and I think when you hold that championship, you have to hold it with a certain level of pride and dignity. After our four way match, when Nick and I were both eliminated at the same time, I have to admit it, I snapped. I piledrove him on the floor and that's not normally like me to lose my cool. Tonight, I expected him to show me something. In some ways, I was ready for him to seek revenge on me and when he didn't, I was disappointed. I saw fear in his eyes tonight. That TV title run is going to be short lived, Nick. Shine that belt up real nice for me!
Abby: Your Television title match is one of many on a star studded card - what do you think about Championship Extravaganza?
Daron: I feel like the winds of change are coming to UWL and while those changes are happening, it kinda feels like everything old is new again at the same time, right? All of these UWL Superstars coming out of the woodwork to lay claim to championships. Robb Daniels, or is it Robert now? Daniels, finally getting that shot at the Heritage Championship - I have to think Robb takes the belt. I've been in the ring with both of them lately. Cross is better than I thought, but Robb is on another level right now. And then our main event, for the World Title - is Caleb Hart's reign finally coming to an end? I thought Jackson Burnside was unstoppable, but Caleb pulled it out. He showed heart, guts, determination, everything it takes to be a champion, but Billy Danielson, another guy I've recently shared the ring with, is clicking on all cylinders. I have my eye on both of these matches. Make no mistake about it, I know I've gotta earn my way up the ladder, but I am going to do it. The Television Title is first, then the Heritage Title, and finally, that World Title. My destiny is the UWL World Championship, the only variable is time...
Abby: Strong words from Daron... *is interrupted*
Daron: And oh, don't think I'm forgetting about you, Leonardo. Another one of those UWL cockroaches crawling out of the walls, looking to reclaim your past glory. You think you're some sort of artist? If you think you're going to come back and leapfrog over me, I'll do a bit of painting of my own on that canvas, with only one color, your red blood! Now, if you'll excuse me...
*Smythe flings his jacket over his shoulder and busts through the back door of the arena as the camera fades to black*
