Universal Stampede 1-7-23

The picture cuts across the arena and cuts to the ring.



Emily Lyle - This is the Universal Stampede. We’ll start out with two wrestlers, every ninety seconds thereafter another wrestler will enter until all the wrestlers have entered!

Out comes first, Evan Atlas. He makes his way down to the ring.

Second out comes, Leonardo who slowly walks down to the ring.

The bell sounds to get the Universal Stampede underway. Atlas and Leonardo circle one another. Leonardo walks around with a strut tossing his hair back and he walks around walking to Atlas. They lock up into a collar and elbow tie up. Leonardo catches Atlas with a knee to the stomach and clubs him across his back. Leonardo spins Atlas around twice in a circle and goes to toss him, but he blocks it. He turns and nails Leonardo with a right hand that staggers him. Atlas comes at him and goes to toss Leonardo out, but he hangs on.

Cliff Morris - Evan Atlas trying to toss out the Heritage Champion but he’s hanging on!!

Leonardo nails Atlas with an elbow to the stomach. He rakes his eyes and turns Atlas against the ropes hitting him with a pair of chops. The countdown begins to bring out the next participant.

Slowly Sucker for Pain begins to play throughout the arena speakers and out steps, El Gran Galaxia. He opens his arms out stretching out his ring cape as he walks down the aisle toward the ring.

Cliff Morris - It 's El Gran Galaxia!!

He slides in and goes after Atlas and hits him with a clothesline. He turns and takes down Leonardo with a shoulder block which tosses him back into the turnbuckles with a shocked look on his face. Galaxia runs hitting Atlas with a pair of slaps to the face and turns him around clocking him with a right hand which stuns him. Galaxia goes to toss Atlas over the top rope, but he hangs on. Leonardo sets back in the corner leaning against the turnbuckles watching as Galaxia has Atlas leaning him against the ropes trying to push him over. Leonardo runs over and he takes advantage of the moment and pushes Atlas and Galaxia both over the top rope as they land on the floor.

Emily Lyle - Evan Atlas and El Gran Galaxia have been eliminated!!

Cliff Morris - Leonardo took advantage of the situation and has eliminated both Evan Atlas and El Gran Galaxia!

Leonardo tosses his hair back and starts shadow boxing with a huge smile on his face. He starts tapping his wrist like a watch and holding his arms out.

The countdown begins on when the next participant will be out.

Out steps Sage Jenkins making her way down the aisle.

Cliff Morris - Sage Jenkins is the next entry to the Universal Stampede!!

Sage slides into the ring. Leonardo gets the jump on her stomping away on her with wild stomps. He turns and wipes the sweat off his face as he moves around the ring. Jenkins gets to her feet. He runs at her for a clothesline, Jenkins ducks under. He turns, Jenkins connects with a pair of repeated punches landing hard against his stunning face, Leonardo. He stumbles back. Jenkins leaps into the air connecting with a dropkick that sends Leonardo down to the mat.

Cliff Morris - Leonardo goes down after a dropkick from Sage Jenkins!!

They both return to their feet. Jenkins hits Leonardo with a pair of forearm strikes. She steps back, he falls against the ropes. Jenkins runs at him, but she tries to push him over the top rope. Leonardo is hanging on by grabbing Jenkins’ hair. The countdown is on for the next entrant.

Bailey St. James walks out in front of the crowd and begins her walk down the aisle toward the ring.

Cliff Morris - Bailey St. James is the next entrant!!

St, James slides into the ring. She grabs Jenkins jerking her around and clocks her with a forearm strike that stuns her. Jenkins falls back against the ropes. St. James runs at her. Jenkins leans over, St. James goes sailing over the top rope to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Bailey St. James is eliminated and she’s livid!!

St. James jerks the ring apron screaming at Sage Jenkins as he points and jerks her own hair in anger. She screams at Sage Jenkins, “I’ll get you for this!!” Jenkins turns and gets hit with a roundhouse kick from Leonardo who gets in her face taunting her for not paying attention.

Cliff Morris - Leonardo giving Sage Jenkins the business for not paying attention.

Logan Acker - That’s typical Leonardo style!


Leonardo jerks her up and goes to push her over the top rope, but she hangs on. The countdown begins for the next entry.

Out steps, Ron Gregory. He makes his way down the aisle toward the ring. Ron slides in and goes right at Leonardo with a pair of punches. He grabs him around, sending him into the ropes. Ron catches Leonardo with a back body drop. Leonardo crawls back begging off. Ron comes at him stomping away on him with repeated stomps. Leonardo rolls to the ropes covering him. He comes at him and kicks Leonardo in the side with a hard kick. He turns, Jenkins nails him with a spinning heel kick that staggers him. She goes to the second rope in the corner, leaps off landing down onto Ron with a double foot stomp.

Cliff Morris - Sage Jenkins with a double foot stop on the stomach of Ron Gregory!!

Jenkins steps back as Leonardo gets to his feet. She runs at him and nails him with a running forearm strike. The countdown begins to bring out the next entrant.

Out comes Francine Petit making her way down to the ring. She enters the ring as Jenkins is standing near the ropes. Petit comes around. She runs at Jenkins and gets a roundhouse kick staggering her. She grabs Petit pushing her over the top rope down to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Francine Petit has been eliminated not long after entering the Universal Stampede!

Leonardo nails Jenkins in the back. He grabs her and goes to push her over, but she’s holding onto the ropes to keep from going over.

Cliff Morris - Sage Jenkins is hanging on!!

Ron comes over as Leonardo lets loose on Jenkins. He nails Leonardo in the back of his neck. He goes to toss him over, but Leonardo turns and grabs Ron pushing him over the top rope to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Ron Gregory has been eliminated!!

The countdown begins to bring out the next entrant.

Out steps Rylee Poverly. She makes her way down to the ring sliding into the ring.

Cliff Morris - Rylee Poverly the Power Champion is now a part of this match!!

Poverly comes into the ring. She runs right at Leonardo and nails him with a pair of forearm strikes. She grabs him and tries to push him over. Here comes Jenkins joining her. They try to push him over. Leonardo holds on, throwing his arms wildly, screaming with screeching screams. He holds on and they let him up. Leonardo falls into the corner holding his chest breathing heavily.

Cliff Morris - Leonardo is in shock!!

Poverly comes at Leonardo hitting him with a running clothesline in the corner. She steps back, Leonardo comes out of the corner hitting her with a clothesline. Jenkins turns, Leonardo hits her with a clothesline. The count begins to bring out the next entrant.

Out runs Ace Sky running down the aisle sliding into the ring. Sky runs at Jenkins hitting her with a clothesline. He runs at Poverly nailing her with a leg lariat that sends her down to the mat. Sky turns and looks proud of himself. Poverly stumbles up to her feet. Sky grabs Poverly and manages to push her over the top rope.

Cliff Morris - Rylee Poverly has been eliminated!!

Sky turns and Leonardo nails him with a clothesline. He stomps away on Sky as she lays on the mat. Jenkins leans in the corner catching her breath. Leonardo stomps on Sky and stands on his throat choking him. He steps back with his arms in the air with a smirk on his face. Leonardo comes around nailing Sky with a pair of punches. The countdown begins bringing out the next entrant.

Out steps Anthony Cross. He throws his arms out to the side and makes his way to the ring. Cross comes into the ring, he grabs Sky and tosses him over the top rope out to the floor. He turns grabbing Jenkins around the throat and throws her over the top rope with a chokeslam.

Cliff Morris - Sage Jenkins and Ace Sky have been eliminated by Anthony Cross who has his sights on Leonardo!!

Cross comes at Leonardo nailing him with repeated punches. He sends him into the corner and nails him with a back elbow in the corner. He pulls his leg up and chokes him in the corner. Cross steps back and goes to push Leonardo over, but he’s holding on. Leonardo holds on as Cross keeps pushing him to push him over the top rope, but Leonardo is holding on. The countdown begins to bring out the next entrant.

Robert Daniels steps out and walks with a cocky walk down the aisle. Daniels enters the ring and nails Cross across his back. Leonardo falls crawling to the corner. Daniels chokes Cross over the top rope. Daniels tries to push him over, but Cross holds on. Leonardo comes over and joins Daniels trying to push Crossover but he holds on. They let loose of Cross. They step back as Leonardo falls back into the corner in a seated position. Daniels punches Cross which brings him back as Cross punches Daniels with a pair of punches.

Cliff Morris - Robert Daniels and Anthony Cross trading punches!!

Cross grabs Daniels and goes to push him over to the top rope. Daniels holds on as Cross tries to push him over, but Daniels holds on. He lets loose. The countdown begins for the next participant.

Daron Smythe steps out onto the stage. He looks around with a look on his face. Smythe makes his way down to the ring. He runs at Cross hitting him with a double ax handle. Daniels hits Smythe on his back with a chop to his neck. He grabs him around, setting him up for a swinging neckbreaker. But Smythe blocks it, pulling Daniels around and pushes him over the top rope. Daniels sits on the floor in shock.

Cliff Morris - Robert Daniels has been eliminated!!

Cross hits Smythe across his back with a double ax handle. Leonardo comes up behind Cross and pushes him over as he falls over Smythe and falls to the floor. Leonardo turns and throws his arms around doing a wild dance as Cross sits on the floor angry smacking the floor.

Cliff Morris - Anthony Cross has been eliminated!!

The countdown begins for the next entrant.

The next entrant comes out. Harper Levine. She makes her way down to the ring. She slides into the ring. Smythe nails her with a clothesline. He jerks her up and tosses her up and over the top rope out to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Harper Levine has been eliminated!!

Leonardo comes up hitting Smythe with a chop block. He comes up trying to push him over. But, Smythe hangs on as Leonardo tries to push him over but it isn’t happening as Smythe hangs on. The countdown begins.

Out comes Matt Ryker. He runs down to the ring sliding into the ring. He comes up behind Leonardo nailing him with a double ax handle and a pair of punches to Smythe. Ryker grabs Smythe and pulls him around to the ropes. He goes to try and push Smythe over, but he blocks it, elbowing him in the stomach. Smythe takes Ryker down with a clothesline that sends him to the mat. Smythe stands choking Ryker.

Cliff Morris - Daron Smythe is choking Matt Ryker as Leonardo sets back in the corner!!

Out steps the Weatherman Jackson Burnside. He makes his way into the ring. He nails Leonardo with a right hand that sends him sailing. He nails Smythe with a big boot. Burnside grabs Ryker and tosses him up and over the top rope down to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Matt Ryker has been eliminated!!

Burnside takes down Leonardo again with a clothesline. He grabs him and goes to push him over the top rope, but Leonardo nails Burnside with a kick to his leg stunning him. Leonardo turns as Smythe takes Leonardo down with a clothesline sending him to the mat. The countdown begins.

Out comes Titus Rush running down the aisle to the ring. Rush runs at Smythe, but gets his eyes raked. Smythe grabs Rush pushing him over the top rope out to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Titus Rush has been eliminated!!

Smythe turns and tries to push Burnside over, but he hangs on and pushes Smythe off. Leonardo comes over and tries to push Smythe over but he hangs on. Smythe backs Leonardo into the corner and starts hitting him with repeated punches in the corner. The count begins.

Out comes, Levi Sutton making his way down the aisle and moving into the ring. Sutton comes to Burnside and nails him with a pair of punches. He grabs him round his wrist, but Burnside holds his own standing on his own holding Sutton at bay. Burnside jerks Sutton around, lifting him up onto his shoulder and goes to toss him over, but Sutton blocks it sliding down. He turns, but Burnside catches him anyway and tosses him over the top rope down to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Levi Sutton has been eliminated!

Burnside turns and looks around the ring at Smythe and Leonardo.

Cliff Morris - Leonardo has been in this match a long time. He came in at number 2!

Burnside punches away on Leonardo and tries to push him over, but Leonardo is hanging on kicking his legs wildly. The count is on for the next entrant.

Out next is Vespertine. Burnside lets loose on Leonardo and turns moving around. Vespertine runs at Leonardo and gets sent over the top rope with a back body drop down to the floor.

Burnside rakes Smythe’s eyes. Smythe counters and rakes Burnside’s eyes. Both men stand stunned. Smythe runs off the ropes back at Burnside, but gets met with a big boot. Burnside grabs Smythe and tries to push him over the top rope, but Smythe holds on. Burnside turns and Leonardo nails him with a right hand that stuns him. The count begins.

Out comes, Silas Adler. He comes down to the ring. He runs at Leonardo and nails him with a right hand. He turns and nails Smythe with a straight punch that staggers him. Burnside turns and they stand chest to chest. Adler punches him, Burnside comes back with a punch that stuns him. Adler comes back with a pair of punches. Burnside comes back with a pair of punches before kicking him with a big boot. He turns and goes to push Adler over, but he hangs on and won’t go over.

Cliff Morris - After a slugfest, Jackson Burnside is trying to push over Silas Adler!!

Adler hangs on. He comes around nailing Burnside with a pair of punches that staggers him into the ropes. The count begins once again.

Outcomes Chris Crippler he makes his way down to the ring. He comes in and goes right after Leonardo punching him with a pair of punches. Crippler throws Leonardo into the corner and nails him with repeated punches in the corner. Crippler tries to push Leonardo over but he’s hanging on and not going over. Crippler lets loose on Leonardo. He kicks Crippler with a low blow. Leonardo grabs Crippler and goes to push him over the top rope. Adler comes over and helps Leonardo push Crippler over the top rope.

Cliff Morris - Chris Crippler has been eliminated!!

Crippler comes back into the ring and starts punching Adler as Leonardo gets out of dodge. Burnside comes up behind Adler and pushes him over the top rope out to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Silas Adler has been eliminated!!

The count begins.

Traci Lance comes out. She runs down the aisle toward the ring. Burnside nails her with a big boot that sends her down. Smythe pushes Lance aside and tosses her over the top rope down to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Traci Lance has been eliminated!!

All three men look spent. Leonardo leans in the corner. As the count begins.

Out comes Drake Beckett out and makes his way down to the ring. Silas Adler, still at ringside, comes around clobbering Beckett with repeated punches. Leonardo comes around grabbing the attacked Beckett tossing him up and over the top rope out to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Drake Beckett has been eliminated!!

Cliff Morris - Silas Alder needs to be thrown out of ringside as he was long ago eliminated! This makes me sick!! We have one more entrant!!

Burnside and Smythe are in the corner locked up trading punches as Leonardo sits in the corner yawning, blowing on his fingers. Burnside and Smythe are locked up. Burnside turns and tries to push Smythe over, but he can’t get him over the top rope. The count begins.

Out comes, Nick Danger running down to the ring. He comes in and runs at Leonardo stomping him as he’s sitting on the corner. Danger stomps away on him with repeated stomps. He pulls him up and sends him right back down with a pair of punches. Danger runs at Smythe and starts punching away on him with repeated punches. He turns to push him over the top rope. But Smythe holds on. Burnside comes up behind Danger and shoves him over the top rope down to the floor as Smythe falls to the ring apron. Danger turns looking at Burnside with his arms stretched out shaking his head.

Cliff Morris - Nick Danger can’t believe that The Weatherman just eliminated him and looks shocked!!

Leonardo comes up behind Burnside and shoves the unassuming Weatherman over the top rope to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Jackson Burnside has been eliminated!! We’re down to two!!!


Smythe gets up on the ring apron. Leonardo starts hitting him with repeated punches. He holds onto the top rope holding on. Leonardo goes to grab him, but Smythe nails Leonardo with a shoulder block. He comes back into the ring. He goes to toss Leonardo over the top rope, but he skins the cat holding on. Leonardo pulls his legs back up as he does. Smythe nails him with a pair of kicks and shoves him again and he falls to the floor.

Emily Lyle - The winner of the Universal Stampede!! Daron Smythe!!

Cliff Morris - Daron Smythe has won the Universal Stampede and will receive a shot at the UWL World Championship, February 4th!!

Smythe stands shaking his head as he falls to his knees.

Cliff Morris - Fans what a battle this match has been. We’ll see you, January 21st goodnight everyone!!
