UWL Eruption 4-1-23

The cameras shows Abby Joseph backstage and about to do a interview she looks at the camera and speaks.

Abby Joseph: Hello ladies and gentlemen welcome to UWL Saturday Eruption. I am here with one half of the new UWL World Tag Team Champions. Please welcome… Nick Danger.

Nick walks towards Abby and stands next to her hold the UWL Tag Team Championship on his shoulder wearing his wrestling attire.

Abby Joseph: Nick at Access Denied you and Ace Sky won the UWL Tag Team in a three tag team match against Supreme Force and Absolution. How did that feel winning the tag team titles with Ace Sky?

Nick Danger: It felt awesome winning the tag team titles with Ace Sky. We both told you Abby during our interview at Access Denied we were going to walk into that match as the underdogs then walk out aware that the team in the match left their guard down and ended winning the match.

Abby Joseph: After the match Robert Daniels and Lauren attack you and Ace after the match. What do you have to say about that Nick?

Nick Danger: Robert all ready have championship gold but if he’s looking for a good fight then he found the right person for that. If you can excuse I am going to go kick Roberts ass.

With that the interview ends.

The picture cuts across the arena and cuts to the ring.



Emily Lyle - The following contest is a Proving Ground Match. It is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!!!

The lights in the arena go out and there's the sound of thunder cracking. "Weather Man" starts to play and a few seconds in lights come up focused on the aisleway. Jackson Burnside stands in the entryway behind a black umbrella with "HERITAGE CHAMP written across it in reflective gold lettering. As the lyrics to the song kick in he spins the umbrella, and eventually spins it around himself in a twirl. Jackson faces the crowd, throws the umbrella over his shoulder one right hand and he makes a "finger gun" motion out to the crowd with his left.

Emily Lyle: "Blowing in from the Windy City; standing six-five and weighing in tonight at three-hundred and sixteen pounds. He is the UWL Heritage Champion, 'The Weatherman', Jackson Buuuuurnsiiiiiide!"

Burnside is wearing a a large overcoat, which covers his entire upper body down below his waist. He playfully points down to where his title belt should be, and winks at the camera. He then resumes the normal entrance routine.

Cliff Morris: - "There he is ladies and gentlemen. The winner of this first, and probably only ever, Artist Atelier's Match and two-time Heritage Champion! It's the Weatherman!"

Logan Acker: - "Y'know Cliff, when Burnside first came back awhile ago I was dismissive. He's acting like a goofball, I still don't know what kind of weather man he's supposed to be. He looks bloated and gross - he's probably drinking too much milk and eggs. But I can't deny that he has torn through everybody before him, and it's no surprise that he has become Heritage Champ again."

Cliff Morris: - "You can't argue with the fact that Jackson Burnside is still one of the top competitors in the UWL right now. Alongside all our other champions. Alongside the women who will be competing later tonight for a shot at the World Title and Anthony Cross. The Weatherman wants to be the greatest Heritage Champion in history. That's a tall order for anybody."

Logan Acker: - "In just a moment he's gotta go toe-to-toe with Daron Smythe, Cliff. It's a Proving Ground Match between Champions, and Smythe has been TV Champion since October. If The Weatherman thinks he's gonna roll in here and wipe Smythe out without a fight then he's in for a surprise!"

As the television announcers exposit for the viewers, Burnside climbs into the ring. He doesn't climb the turnbuckle as usual, and instead stands in the middle of the ring. The lights dim some and a spotlight centers on the Weatherman. The umbrella is casually thrown aside so he can grab the center of his large overcoat with both hands. "The Weather Man" builds to the chorus.

Let the rain come down and I'm pushin' through!
'Cause I'm a weather man!"

Jackson Burnside rips open the coat in synch with "I'm a weather man." Overcoat slides down from his shoulders into a pile by his feet. The Heritage Championship shines brightly and reflects the light of the spotlight with a blinding brilliance. Jackson maintains his stance in the middle of the ring and unstraps the title belt. He doesn't bother to remove his sunglasses as he hoists the title belt high into the air. When he is done holding this pose for a few seconds the lights come back on. The Heritage Championship winds up on The Weatherman's left shoulder. He walks over to Emily Lyle and exchanges his sunglasses and coat with her for a microphone. She climbs down out of the ring and hands the gear off to somebody at ringside.

Burnside paces to the middle of the ring as his theme music winds down.

Jackson Burnside:
"I know everyone here tonight... in NASHVILLE!... He pauses for the cheap pop, which generates a huge response. "doesn't want to hear an old weather man pontificate. You all are here to see two Champions beat the Hell outta each other. Am I right brothers?!" Again another big, almost Pavlovian response from the crowd. "In about thirty seconds Daron Smythe is gonna walk out here. He and I are gonna have a little exhibition match, no titles, nothin on the line but pride. Two Champions, but there can only be one winner. Daron brother, I've seen what you've accomplished since showing up. When the weatherman was dealing with hard times; bad weather and rain clouds and the like. You blew into town and took everything you wante. TV Title, Universal Stampede... came up short against Billy though, didn't ya?"

Not to lack any self-awareness, he smiles.

Jackson Burnside:
"Been there, know what that's like. But now dude, you and I gotta prove that we deserve to be where we are. It's been more than thirty seconds, get your ass down here Daron! Bring yourself, your TV Title that you don't even defend every two weeks, come down to the Weatherman's ring. You and I are gonna smack the Hell outta each other. You and I are gonna have a good old fashioned barn-buster and when it's said and done brother, you're gonna know what it feels like when a magnitude seven rocks your world."

Burnside drops the microphone and slides it across the ring with his foot. He pats the Heritage Championship and paces around, waiting for Daron Smythe.

Smythe slides into the ring out of nowhere.

Cliff Morris - Daron Smythe is in the ring!!

Logan Acker - Daron Smythe ran in from the crowd!

The bell sounds as Burnside runs at Smythe nailing him with hard punches, which knock him back into the corner. The referee calls for the bell to start the match, as Burnside hits away at Smythe in the corner. Burnside grabs Smythe around his arm hip tossing him out of the corner. Smythe rises to his feet, as he staggers around Burnside grabs him around his head into a front facelock, he lifts him up and down with a suplex. Burnside rises to his feet, as Smythe lays flat on his back on the mat arching his back in pain. Burnside pulls him off the mat, he lifts Smythe up onto his shoulder. Burnside goes into the corner, he sets him for snake eyes, but Smythe slides off pushing Burnside into the corner. Smythe grabs Burnside around the back of his head slamming his face into the top turnbuckle.

Cliff Morris - Daron Smythe is slamming Jackson Burnside's face off the turnbuckle!!

Logan Acker - Daron Smythe is ignoring the referee as he slams The Weatherman's face into the turnbuckle!x

Smythe pulls around out of the corner, he drags him to the top rope raking his face down the top rope. Burnside leans over, holding his eyes, as Smythe kicks him in his side with a sharp kick. Smythe runs toward Burnside, he catches Smythe lifts him up and down with an atomic drop. Smythe staggers back, as Burnside nails him with a clothesline. Burnside turns, as Smythe stumbles to his feet, he sends him into the ropes, Smythe hits off the ropes, as Burnside lifts him up and down with a scoop powerslam. Burnside rises to his feet, he stands over Smythe dropping an elbow drop onto Smythe. Burnside turns covering him, as the referee counts.

2.. Kick out.

Burnside rises up to his feet, he pulls Smythe up with him, as he sends him into the ropes, but Smythe holds onto the ropes, as Burnside runs at him Smythe leans over flipping Burnside over the top rope down onto the floor. Smythe slowly turns moving out onto the ring apron, he flexes his muscles, as he looks out at the crowd. Smythe drops down onto the floor, as Burnside is leaning him over gathering himself. Smythe kicks him square in the side of his head stunning Burnside. Smythe grabs him around his arms, hooking them up, planting him into the floor with a suplex. Smythe rises to his feet, as Burnside lays on the floor with his arms around his neck riving in pain.

Cliff Morris - These two are throwing everything at one another!!

Smythe stomps on Burnside, as he lays on the floor. Smythe slowly turns, sliding back into the ring, as Burnside lays on the floor. Smythe moves around slowly. Burnside slowly gets up off the floor, as Smythe moves toward him, as he moves onto the ring apron. Smythe goes to hit Burnside, but he blocks it. Burnside hits Smythe repeatedly, as he moves into the ring hitting away on Smythe. Burnside pushes him back into the corner, he raises his leg up choking him in the corner with his boot on his throat, as the referee counts.

Burnside drops his leg down, as he nods his head at the referee. Burnside pulls Smythe around out of the corner lifting him up onto his shoulder, he drops him face first down onto the top turnbuckle with the snake eyes. Smythe staggers back around, as Burnside lifts Smythe up into his arms. He runs across the ring planting Smythe with the Oklahoma slam. Burnside covers him.

Burnside pulls Smythe up to his feet, he hits him with a hard punch, which knocks him staggering into the corner. Burnside runs in at him but Smythe moves out of the way, as Burnside slams into the turnbuckles. Smythe stands over him stomping away on him in the corner.

Smythe steps back, as Burnside grabs at his throat in the corner. Smythe looks at the referee telling him something, he turns looking out at the crowd, as Smythe punches Burnside with a hard punch below the belt.

Cliff Morris - Oh come on now!!

Smythe steps back out of the corner, almost sizing Burnside up. Burnside moves away from the corner, still in pain from the low blow, Smythe spins, nailing him with a discus clothesline. Smythe covers him, as the referee counts.

Smythe gets on one knee, punching away on Burnside. He pushes him back onto the mat covering him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris - The bell has sounded!

Logan Acker - The time limit has expired!!

Emily Lyle - The time limit has expired Daron Smythe will earn a future shot at the Heritage Championship!

Smythe goes after Burnside, but the referee steps in between them as Burnside rises up swinging his arms wildly.

Cliff Morris - These two are having to be held back!!

They are both being held back as referee's come into the ring pushing both men back.

The show cuts to a break.

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit and it is a number one contender match for the Universal Wrestling League World Championship!

The arena's lights fall sending the venue into a pitch black state, the beginning rhythms of "Requiem" hits the arena's sound system. The crowd immediately resounds with a roar of boos. Lights begin to fill through out the arena. Rylee emerges from the back stopping at the top of the entrance ramp.

Emily Lyle - From Atlanta, Georgia, weighing one hundred and thirteen pounds, Rylee Poverly!!

She turns her back to the crowd as the lights flicker all around her. She makes her way down the aisle waving off the fans extending their hands to tough her. Rylee enters the ring standing in the center of the ring with her arms extended looking out at the crowd.

“Walk” by Saucy Santana begins to play throughout the arena as the curtain opens and Dayna Barrett walks out onto the stage slowly with the curtain closing behind her. She smirks and poses at the top of the ramp before slowly walking the aisle toward the ring.

Emily Lyle - Now making her way to the ring standing at five feet and two inches tall. From Los Angeles,California she is...DAYNA—BARRETT!

Barrett walks seductively up the ring stairs and across the apron, turning to looking out at the audience, with both arms in the air she points at herself talking smack just before stepping into the ring.

Cliff Morris - We’re set for our next match. As Rylee Poverly and Dayna Barrett face off to determine who’ll face Anthony Cross for the UWL World Championship on, April 15th on Eruption.

Logan Acker - These two merged back the divisions in UWL and now they get a chance to battle for the richest prize in our sport.

The bell sounds, they both move to the center of the ring, slowly circling one another locking up into a collar and elbow tie up. Poverly takes Barrett into a wrist lock, she pulls her arm around, as Barrett stands grimacing in pain. Poverly takes Barrett around into a hammerlock, as she pulls up on her arm. Barrett turns, moving around, taking Poverly into a hammerlock of her own, as she nails her in the back of her neck with a clubbing forearm strike. Barrett pulls Poverly around slapping her across her face, she stumbles back. Poverly runs at Barrett kicking her in her leg with a sharp kick, which stuns her. Poverly grabs Barrett around her ahead, she runs toward the corner, she kicks off the turnbuckles landing with a tornado DDT. Poverly rises to her feet, she stands over the fallen Barrett, she leaps into the air landing down onto her with a standing moonsault. Poverly covers her, as the referee counts.

Poverly rises to her feet, as Barrett stumbles to her feet, she pins around nailing her with a spinning back fist. Poverly grabs Barrett around her wrist to send her into the ropes, but Barrett blocks it, standing her ground. Barrett nails Poverly with a short-arm clothesline. She pulls her up off the mat landing a pair of sharp punches, which stun Poverly. she sends her into the ropes, Poverly comes back off the ropes, she jumps up at Barrett moving around planting her with a facebuster.

Cliff Morris - Rylee Poverly plants Dayna Barrett down with a facebuster!

Logan Acker - Rylee Poverly needs to jump on the attack and not let up!

Poverly rises up to her feet, as Barrett lays on the mat flat on her back. She steps out to the ring apron making her way up to the top rope. Poverly stands on the top rope, as Barrett is still laying flat on her back on the mat. She leaps off landing down onto her with a running knee strike, Barrett dodges out of the way. Poverly turns, Barrett nails her with a Superkick. She covers her, the referee counts.
