Out here we play for keeps... Ain't one of us is innocent We've all got blood on our hands.
Cory Chevelle comes out from the back, in a black tee, blue jeans, and his black cowboy hat. The UWL Television Championship is draped over his left shoulder. He stops at the top of the ramp and polished the title for a moment before continuing down the ramp.
Cliff Morris: Defending his UWL Television Championship later tonight ladies and gentlemen! Here he is "THE SILVERBACK" CORY CHEVELLE!
Logan Acker: You wanna talk about dominance, no one can skip over this man right here. But can he continue his dominant reign over Mark Storm tonight? According to our polls online, Mark is actually the favorite..
Cliff Morris: I don't think Cory Chevelle cares a bit what any poll says..
Chevy makes his way to the ring and springs up on the apron, entering through the middle of the ropes. The fans are booing as loud as they can, Chevelle mocks them and raises his title high so they all can see. Turning his attention to the commentary team, Chevelle motions for a mic. A crew member scurries to bring him one, and Chevelle turns to the west side of the arena, adjusting the title as it hangs from his left shoulder. His cold blue eyes stare into the crowd as they chant "YOU-CANT-HACK-IT!". Chevy laughs and nods "okay.". Still laughing, he raises the mic to his mouth..
Cory Chevelle: I can't hack it?. Oh Orlando... Y'all huffin paint again huh!? Because it wasn't me who got rolled up and lost. No, your Television Champion is still the most dominant champion in that locker room back there and if anyone wants to say...
JACK-SON-BURN-SIDE! The crowd chants grow louder and a frustrated Cory Chevelle scowls around the arena mouthing away from the mic.
Cory Chevelle: Speaking of him, I'm gonna make this quick. I officially challenge Burnside for the Heritage championship. Hell we can even make it title for title, because tonight you all, and Mark Storm are about to learn what comes with challenging me for the UWL TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD!
Logan Acker: WHAT!? THIS IS HUGE!
Cliff Morris: Listen to this crowd right now... Amazing.
The crowd is roaring with appraisal.
Cory Chevelle: There, now that that's outta the way, let's talk Mark Storm...
cheering grows louder.
Cory Chevelle: Yes yes, I know. He's your modern day Cinderella man. The one man to beat the big, bad, Silverback. La-dee-dah get over it already. You know, I actually like and respect Mark. But that's the problem, see.. Therefore in my mind he's the man I need to make an example out of the most. Mark, you and I have circled each other for years now and I know what you bring. I know you're a man's man and you know how to hold your own. But lets face the facts when it's you and me...
"You don't fare too well."
Why is that Mark? If I inspire you to rise up and pick your nuts up off the mat so much why do you always fall short? Any of you wanna take a guess? Because Mark, for as much as you talk, you're not really here 100%. You wanna have the glory but your heart is else where and your mind is more set on getting a big win than it is prepared to endure the distance you'll be required to go. What I'm saying Mark Storm is you simply aren't giving us your all because you don't WANT to put in the work or go to war and that is something myself and this championship belt on my shoulder require!
The crowd grows quieter as Cory walks around the ring in a slow circle.
Cory Chevelle: You got lucky during the cup. That same luck, I assure each and every man and woman here- that luck is non-existent tonight! Prepare to cry your eyes out ladies and soy boys because one of us ain't walking out on our own two feet when this match is done, and THATSY DAMN WORD! Mark Storm a rival to ME!? I guess after all these years I still have something to prove to you all. Cory Chevelle has no rival. Because this isn't a fairy tale, this is a Coliseum and we are the gladiators and THIS IS SILVERBACK COUNTRY GOD DAMMIT! You Mark Storm... Tonight you're dinner son.
Chevy drops the mic and the show cuts to a commercial.

Jenna Jillain Walker looks nervous as she walks into the Addition Financial Arena.
Jenna Jillian Walker: Tonight is the night that I get to step into the ring with “The Weatherman” himself. I can honestly say I never expected to get a title shot so quickly after signing with UWL. But hey I am not complaining. It is more of a pleasant surprise.
Jenna takes a deep breath.
Jenna Jillian Walker: You are an incredible run, Jackson, and that is why nobody is giving me a shot against you tonight. I certainly get it. Which is why I cannot wait to step into the ring with you tonight but don’t get me wrong just because I respect you doesn’t mean I am just going to let you run all over me. I am gonna stand tall and fight like I have never fought before because I am a true student of the game, a woman who loves the heritage of this great sport. Be ready, Jackson because I am.

The scene opens with the familiar figure of Your Hero, and Mine, standing in front of a Championship Extravaganza logo'd backdrop.
MARK STORM: "I'm just another cog in the wheel... and the wheels gonna keep on turning. When it's all said and done, we're all expendable. Whether we'd like to admit it or not, there's an expiry date on all of us and one day, our time will come. This dance that we do in the ring will be nothing but a distant memory we play in our heads to remind ourselves of when we were most alive. Another one will come, fullfill our shoes, our goals, hopes and dreams and the wheels, will keep on turning."
His signature smirk plasters over his lips as he pauses.
MARK STORM: Regardless of that fact, I'm still intent on creating history. I've come so close, battled so hard and defeated the best of the best to get to where I am right now. There's a lot of emotions in me heading into Championship Extravaganza but I guess you could say that's expected. I'm an emotional guy, I wear my heart on my sleeves and Cory Chevelle knows that very well, he'll try use that against me. But little does he know, it's this heart, this love, this passion, this emotion that has gotten me through the darkest of days when I thought I couldn't come back.
Storm clenches his fist, momentarily pausing to allow his words to sink in.
MARK STORM: In the semi finals, when everybody thought you'd defeat me again, I rose to the occasion and defeated you against all odds and that spurred me on, Chevelle. I may not have gone on to win the whole damn thing but it woke something in me and now I can't rest, Cory, I'm a new man, born again, ready to take my place at the mountaintop! And all roads, lead to you, they always have. That UWL Television title of yours, has alluded me for far too long and it's about damn time I do something about it.
When the chips are down and the people need a hero, I'll be there. That television championship has been held hostage by the Silverback Mountain for way too long, and it's about time that Your Hero, and Mine, brings it home for the people. These people need someone to believe in and I'm happily obliging to the task, I'll be that guy because I already am. Tonight, destiny awaits.
The scene gradually fades out.

A wild arm swings from the bed, fumbling around with an iPhone, desperately trying to turn off the alarm and not snooze it again like always. The Brooksville Holiday Inn Express was exactly as advertised - "unfussy lodging with free breakfast". A groggy Daron Smythe slides to the edge of the bed, half stretching, half groaning. The light floods the room as Daron swings open the blinds.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
DARON: Sh*t, snoozed it again
Daron hastily grabs a pair of dress pants, a sorta-ironed dressed shirt, tie, and fumbles towards the door.
"Turn left onto Cortez Blvd, then, in 4.5 miles, turn right"
DARON: This is a lot less directions than yesterday...
Daron mutters to himself, the gift and curse of being an only child, you often talk to yourself. Ridge Manor, Florida is a blink and you miss it kind of town, about 4500 residents. But even in a one stop light town like this, The Spirit and Truth Church is difficult to miss. As a building, it's nothing remarkable, that classic brick building with an almost cliche white steeple, a beacon to a sleepy town. On a day like today, it really is a beacon. If that building holds 250, there's at least that many people standing outside, fanning themselves and just trying to reach their ear out to hear the words being preached from the pulpit.
Daron makes his way through the crowd of devoted listeners, who for the most part, kindly part to allow the new face to walk through. As much as Daron takes up space, David Carroll has welcomed all near and far and for the most part, his followers do as well. The pews are full and many are standing behind the back row. Daron elbows his way through towards the back corner, finding solace underneath one of the larger fans spinning above.
Daron looks around the congregation, the devoted followers honed on the one man in the front as though he was not just a vessel for the words of the Lord, but if he was the Lord himself.
DARON: *mumbling under his breath* I'd have time to respect it if it weren't so god damned terrifying...
Even though Daron spoke in a way that no one else but him heard it, his voice was the only noise in the church - all at once, the entire attention of the congregation and the preacher himself turned towards that back corner. In that moment, Daron Smythe the David Caroll locked eyes. TO BE CONTINUED...

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit and it is for the UWL Television Championship!
Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words;
A massive pop ensues as emerging from the back is Your Hero and Mine, Mark Storm; who keeps himself composed as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He can't help but allow his sadistic signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the energy that the audience are giving him as they applaud and cheer.
Emily Lyle - From New York, Brooklyn.. weighing in a two hundred and twenty five pounds - Your Hero, and Mine.. MARRKKKK STORMMMMMM
He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, with a leather coat completing his attire as he comes down the entrance ramp.
"This ain't no place for no hero. This ain't no place for no better man. This ain't no place for no hero To call "home."
At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring. Taking off his leather coat, he hands it to the ring announcer before walking over to his designated corner and hoisting himself up onto the second ropes, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing.
All lights in the arena dim down
"Out here we play for keeps Ain't one of us is innocent We've all got blood on our hands"
Emily Lyle - Ladies and gentlemen, from Bootjack, Missouri! Weighing in at 287 pounds! He is the UWL Television Champion The Silverback, CORY CHEVELLE!
