Welcome to another edition of the UWL Newsletter. We have a lot to cover so let's get to it.
Daron Smythe was successful in defending the UWL World Championship at Championship Extravaganza, not once, but in a surprise appearance by Anthony Cross who challenged Smythe after his successful defense against David Carroll. Smythe was able to hang on and take down Anthony Cross who injured his knee in the match and will be out for an unknown amount of time.
Speaking of the UWL World Championship. Daron Smythe will face Mark Storm at Eruption on 8/19 in a Proving Ground Match. If Mark Storm can pick up the win or last the time limit he’ll earn himself a shot at the UWL World Championship.
UWL officials have announced that on November 11th in Philadelphia. UWL will come together for the 18th Anniversary Celebration.
On September 30th in Chicago a UWL World Championship match will take place. It will be a four way elimination match. Two of the challengers announced for this huge elimination match are. Television Champion Cory Chevelle and Heritage Champion The Weatherman Jackson Burnside. The other two will be announced after Under Pressure.
Billy Danielson was able to make it to the ring for his match at Championship Extravaganza after being attacked in the back by still a unknown person or persons. David Carroll was questioned by UWL Officials but denied anything to do with this. These two will be at Eruption on 8/19 and it’s no tell what will go down.
BRADDOCK made a impressive debut in UWL. Now his second match will be a huge test as he will take on Television Champion Cory Chevelle.
