UWL - Under Pressure - 5/27/17

The show returns with, Abby Joseph standing in the ring with Kevin Moss. He's leaning over catching his breath, gathering himself after his hard fought match.

Abby Joseph - Kevin, I know you just had a hard match, but I'd like to hear your reaction to Ethan Lucas.

Kevin, raises his up slowly, he looks around.

Kevin Moss - Well...

As, Kevin is about to speak, Ethan Lucas slides in the ring, they start trading punches.

Cliff Morris - Here we go!

Logan Acker - Yeah, this is what I like!

They trade punches with one another. Moss hits Lucas with a kick to his stomach. He runs hitting him with a knee lift which staggers him. He sends him into the ropes. Moss goes for a clothesline, Lucas ducks under. Lucas waist as Moss turns, he goes for a punch, Moss ducks under. He comes up nailing Lucas with repeated kicks.

Cliff Morris - Someone needs to stop this!

Logan Acker - Oh let them fight it out!

Moss kicks away on Lucas, he falls back against the ropes, falling out to the floor. Lucas gets to his feet, he points at Moss as Moss stands looking him straight in the eye. The show cuts to a commercial.

The show comes back from a commercial with Creed still standing in the ring.

Azarius Creed - Ok let's get this show on the road!

Creed paces back and forth.

Azarius Creed - Let's talk about Haste coming out here looking down at me.

Creed looks around with a confident look on his face.

Azarius Creed - When it comes down to it, people want to be entertained, they wanna be excited and get down with what we do. Then you have these single scoop, one dimensional boys like this Haste character, that think they can get in on some momentum. I left more of an impression in that tag ladder match than Haste has or ever will. Set up to fail, nothin’ you can do but expect that L and not bounce back.

Creed looks around as the crowd is getting behind him.

Azarius Creed - You're gon be followin’ me into the jungle, bruh, and I'm king of that ish. Everybody gonna see that CaliCreed is bigger in every way, no matter what state or country we in. Bottom line, Haste softer than the whipped cream on a sundae.

Creed turns, as Haste steps out from the back.

Azarius Creed - What we have over here?

Haste looks at Creed standing in the ring. He points at him.

Azarius Creed - Stop using that pointer finger and come on down here. Let's do this!

Creed stands walking back and forth in the ring as Haste stands near the entrance. Bryan Crews walks up moving past Haste standing between them in the aisle.

Bryan Crews - You two want to come out here and take up time, ok. At ROA 15 - Power Surge it will be Haste taking on Azarius Creed one on one. Good luck gentleman.

Creed nods his head in approval as Crews turns walking past Haste as he stands staring at Creed in the ring as the show cuts to a commercial.

The show returns from commercial with Grayson Hawksgood standing in the ring.

Grayson Hawksgood - Let me cut right to the point. Kristian Bane, you want to get on Twitter and run your mouth, talk smack about me making you tap out.

Hawksgood looks around with a smirk on your face.

Grayson Hawksgood - You want to wine and cry because, I made big bad Kristian Bane tap out.

The crowd cheers.

Grayson Hawksgood - Kristian Bane, you want to complain and wine. That's fine, wine all you want. At ROA 15 - Power Surge I'll make you tap out once again. I beat you once and I'll do it again in Los Angeles on, June 24th.

Grayson looks around with a smile on his face.

Grayson Hawksgood - SO, fans come out and join us for ROA 15 - Power Surge, to witness yours truly beat Kristian Bane once again.

Grayson throws his arms in the air, as the fans show their support. The show cuts to a commercial.

The show returns from with a commercial, showing Emily Lyle in the ring.

Emily Lyle - This match is set for one fall!

A Dragon's mighty roar is heard on the PA system. Then Dragon comes out to his music playing as red and gold lights flash.

Emily Lyle - From Nashville, Tennessee, weighing two hundred and thirty five pounds! Peter Dragon!!

Then flames shoot out on the ramp as he walks down. In the ring, flames shoot out on all the turnbuckles as he holds his hands together and bows in respect towards the fans.

Cliff Morris - Wait a second!

GOZOKU is in the ring, he attacked Peter knocking him down to the mat with a lariat to the back of his neck.

Cliff Morris - What is GOZOKU doing!?

Logan Acker - Anything he pleases!

GOZOKU jerks him up, he grabs him and plants Peter down with the Last Hazard (Wrist-Clutch Fisherman's Drive). GOZOKU slides out of the ring, as Peter lays on the mat grimacing in pain.

Cliff Morris - Fans we'll try to restore order here! We'll back after this break!

The show returns from commercial, showing the crowd on their feet, cheering ready for action.

Emily Lyle - This match is a Trios Match! It is set for one fall!

The opening sounds of Lights and Sounds begins to play and as the music ramps up, Jeremy Sterling bursts through the curtains at the eleven second mark. Receiving a mixed reaction from the fans, Jeremy Sterling jogs down to the ring, slapping the hands of the fans reaching out.

Emily Lyle - From Sterling, Virginia, weighing one hundred and ninety five pounds! He is the Horizon Champion! Jeremy Sterling!

Sliding into the ring, Sterling hops up to his feet and looks around before heading to his corner of the ring and doing some light stretching, ready for his match to begin.

Cliff Morris - Jeremy Sterling has a look of focus on his face. He's ready for this huge match!

Short Change Hero by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words;

YOUR HERO, AND MINE

A massive pop ensues as emerging from the back is the self proclaimed "Prince of CHAOS", Mark Storm; who keeps himself composed as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He can't help but allow his sadistic signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the energy that the audience are giving him as they applaud and cheer.

Announcer: From New York, Brooklyn.. weighing in a two hundred and twenty pounds - Your Hero, and Mine.. MARRKKKK STORMMMMMM

He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, with a leather coat completing his attire as he comes down the entrance ramp.

This ain't no place for no hero.
This ain't no place for no better man.
This ain't no place for no hero
To call "home."

At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring.

Taking off his leather coat, he hands it to the ring announcer before walking over to his designated corner and hoisting himself up onto the second ropes, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing.

Cliff Morris - Mark Storm the #1 contender for the ROA Championship.

Logan Acker - Doesn't matter he's got to face the man, Chris Crippler for that ROA Championship, June 24th in Los Angles, at ROA 15 - Power Surge.





Lights turn on and off around the entrance at random intervals as "Bad Moon Rising" by Mourning Ritual starts up, playing over the speakers. The video package on the video shows a book laying on a table, its pages fluttering in an unseen wind, blank. A rough hand appears on screen, laying on the fluttering pages of the book to stop them from moving as the camera pans up then. Alexander is standing there in his black t-shirt and off white slacks, lip synching to the following lyrics to the song..

"Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise"


As he mouths the last line of the song, he turns his head to face the camera and slams the book shut as the lights go off in the arena, the music quietly humming in the background as smoke starts to pour out from the entrance slowly. Lights rise up and flicker around the entrance as the music picks up again, flickering in time with the drums and guitars as Alexander makes his way out from the back, carrying that same book in his hand.

Emily Lyle - From New York City, New York, weighing one hundred and ninety pounds! He is the Endurance Champion! Alexander Devin!

He bears no smile on his face, only a calm resolute look as he stops at the top of the entrance for a second, scanning the crowd before opening his arms wide and walking down the ramp, lowering them as he gets to the ring. He climbs the steps and gets in the ring, walking to the middle and posing the same way that he did at the beginning.

Logan Acker - Now the top team is about to come out!

'Remedy' by Cold plays and he steps through the curtain. At the top of the isle he makes a 'V1' prayer taunt with his nose between the first two fingers.

Emily Lyle - From Sacramento, California, weighing two hundred and thirty four pounds! Stephen Callaway!

He then struts to the ring singing along with his theme.

Cliff Morris - Callaway strutting with a air of confidence.

Logan Acker - He should he was robbed of the Horizon Title if you ask me.

"Let you down" by Seether starts playing in the P.A System, while the lights go out and a spot light appears in front of the curtain.

If I could speak I'd tell you all my fears and deprivations
If I could feel I'd take away your pain
If I could bleed I'd show you all my scars and imperfections
If I could breather I'd hold you in my veins


Erik Scorpion comes out of the curtain giving his back to the ring and the public, extending the right side of his jacket with his right hand.

You've got me feeling like an animal
Beat down in fear and paralyzed
You've got me feeling like I have no other hand to hold
In this assisted suicide


Scorpion turns around, still extending the right side of his jacket with his hand and gives a smirk to the public as a slight laugh escapes him. He then starts walking towards the ring.

So say something beautiful
Say something you're keeping inside
This anticipation
I will only let you down


Scorpion continues his walk towards the ring, but takes a brief pause to look around. As he sees some fans extending his hands, trying to touch him, he ignores them and gets out of the way, avoiding any kind of contact with the fans.

Emily Lyle - From Miami, Florida, weighing two hundred and five pounds! Erik Scorpion!

Say something meaningful
Say something you're trying to hide
This anticipation


Scorpion runs towards the ring and slides, and just as the chorus is nearing the end, while kneeling, he puts his knuckles together, spelling "STAY DOWN"

I will only let you down.


Erik Scorpion gets up and as the song continues he just stands in a corner waiting for the match to start.

Cliff Morris - The #1 contender to the Endurance Title!

Logan Acker - Erik Scorpion has star written all over him, if you don't believe me, just ask him.

The lights in the auditorium switch off as “Symphony of Destruction” by Megadeth begins to play over the PA system, as soon as the guitar rift kicks in, the spotlights goes around the audience and the stage lights illuminate as Chris Crippler steps out from behind the curtain with the ROA Championship belt around his waist.

Emily Lyle - From Colchester, Essex. England, weighing two hundred and fifty six pounds! He is the ROA Champion! Chris Crippler!

He casually strolls down the aisle way, ignoring the fans ringside, stepping up the ring steps to the apron and walking along to the middle. He gazes out at the crowd in attendance with a look of disgust before stepping through the ropes, Chris walks over to the opposite side of the ring, removing the ROA Title belt, he holds the belt, adjusting his wrist tape as he presses his back against the turnbuckles. The referee checks him for foreign objects as his music fades away.

Cliff Morris – We’re ready for trios action!

Logan Acker – This could get wild. I sure hope so.

Cliff Morris – You would!

The bell sounds. Starting the match off for their teams is, Stephen Callaway and Alexander Devin. They circle one another slowly moving into a collar and elbow tie up. Callaway takes Devin into a side headlock. He sends him off. Callaway hits off the ropes, he runs back at Devin and gets nailed with a shoulder block, but doesn’t go off his feet. Callaway turns running back off the ropes. He runs back at Devin, he drops down, Callaway runs over him returning into the ropes. He runs back at Devin, he goes for a hip toss, but Callaway blocks it. He goes for it again, but Callaway blocks it. Callaway slaps Devin on his stomach taking him over with a hip toss. He returns to his feet, Callaway nails him with a dropkick sending him down to the mat. Callaway rises back up, he kicks Devin with a pair of kicks. He jerks him up to his feet. Callaway sends Devin into the corner. He runs in at him, Devin dodges out of the way, Callaway slams off the turnbuckles. Devin runs at Callaway nailing him with a big boot in the corner. He steps back, he grabs Callaway throwing him with a back body drop. Callaway stumbles back up to his feet. Devin kicks him in his stomach. He grabs him around his head, he turns looking at Scorpion standing on the ring apron. He grabs him lifting him up dropping him down with a snap suplex. Callaway rolls to the ropes, and out to the floor. In comes, Scorpion.

Cliff Morris – We’ll remind everyone. In trios matches in ROA a tag isn’t needed if your opponent is out of the ring, then someone from that team may enter.

Logan Acker – Yes, we’re all aware of the rules, Cliff.

Cliff Morris – It’s good to refresh sometimes.

Scorpion and Devin move toward one another. Devin throws his head back, and his arms out. He turns looking at Scorpion and they begin hitting away on one another. They trade punches. Scorpion knees Devin in the stomach stunning him. He sends him into the ropes. Devin comes off the ropes. Scorpion nails Devin with a roundhouse kick which stuns him. He runs at him hitting him with a running knee lift. He stumbles back. Scorpion kicks Devin in his stomach grabbing him around his head planting him down with a DDT. Scorpion rises up, Devin rolls out and in comes, Sterling. He runs at Scorpion, but he dodges out of the way. Sterling turns, Scorpion nails him with a backhand chop which stuns him. He grabs Sterling planting him down with a sit-out facebuster. Scorpion rirses up off the mat. He walks over, Chris Crippler tags himself in. Scorpion turns, he looks at Crippler with a confused look on his face. Crippler points for him to get out.

Cliff Morris – Chris Crippler just told Erik Scorpion to get out of the ring!

Logan Acker – The ROA Champion says go, you go!

Crippler grabs Sterling up off the mat. He nails him with a European upper cut which stuns him. He sends him into the ropes. Sterling comes off the ropes, he runs back at Crippler, he goes for a clothesline, Sterling ducks under. Crippler turns, Sterling nails him with a dropkick. Sterling comes up, he nails Crippler with a leg lariat sending him down. Sterling pulls Crippler up off the mat. He sends him into the corner. He runs in at him hitting him with a clothesline in the corner. He steps back, he grabs Crippler sending him across the ring to the opposite corner. He runs in at him, Crippler nails him with a boot to the face. He stumbles back. Crippler comes out of the corner grabbing Sterling around his head dropping him down with a neckbreaker. Crippler rises up with a disgusted look on his face.

Cliff Morris – Chris Crippler taking it to Jeremy Sterling!

Logan Acker – He’s the ROA Champion what else do you expect?

Crippler nails him with a pair of chops which stun Sterling. He grabs him around his head sending him down with a snapmare. He runs at him hitting him in his back with a running kick. He pulls him up, as he does, Sterling nails him with an upper cut punch which stuns him. He grabs Crippler around his head planting him down with a bulldog. Sterling rises up, he tags in Mark Storm. Storm comes in the ring, he runs at Crippler. He nails him with punches. He sends him into the ropes. He comes off the ropes, Storm nails Crippler with a big boot which sends him down to the mat. He nails Crippler with a spinning heel kick which sends him down to the mat. Storm stands over Crippler, he leaps in the air landing down on him with a standing moonsault. Storm covers him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris – Crippler is able to kick out!

Logan Acker – That was a fast count if you ask me!

Cliff Morris – No one asked you!

Crippler rolls out of the ring. In comes, Callaway. He runs at Storm nailing him with a double ax handle stunning him. He pulls him around sending him down with a swinging neckbreaker. Callaway goes into the corner, he leaps off landing down on Storm with a pointed elbow. Callaway gets over Storm nailing him with repeated punches. He rises up to his feet. Storm gets up off the mat. Callaway runs at him for a clothesline, Storm ducks under. He whips Callaway to the ropes. He comes off the ropes, Storm grabs him lifting him up planting him down with a spinebuster. Storm covers him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris – That was a close call!

Logan Acker – That was a fast count! This referee is horrible!

Storm grabs Callaway up off the mat. He leans him over, he lifts him up and throws him down hard off the mat with an elevated powerbomb. He leans over him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris – Callaway needs to make a tag!

Storm pulls him up to his feet. Devin tags himself into the mat. Storm looks confused by this. Devin comes into the match. He kicks Callaway. He jerks him up off the mat. He sends him to the ropes. Devin goes for a big boot, Callaway dodges out of the way. He jumps up nailing him with a dropkick which sends Devin down to the mat. Scorpion tags himself into the match. Scorpion runs in, he grabs Devin up grabbing him around his head. He lifts him up planting him down with a lifting single underhook DDT. Scorpion pushes him over, he covers him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris – That was close!

Logan Acker – This referee is the worse!

Scorpion turns, Crippler tags himself into the match. Crippler walks over looking at Storm with a disgusted look on his face. He reaches out pushing him. Storm comes into the ring, and gets cut off by Callaway. They start punching each other. Sterling comes in and is met by Scorpion. They start trading punches.

Cliff Morris – This has broken down!

Logan Acker – Let it go!

Storm and Callaway are on the floor fighting. On the opposite side of the ring, Sterling and Scorpion are fighting it out on the floor.

Cliff Morris – There’s fighting everywhere!

In the ring, Crippler and Devin are trading punches and slaps. Devin goes to kick Crippler, he dodges out of the way. He rakes Devin’s eyes stunning him. He kicks him in his stomach. Crippler grabs him around his head planting him down with the Crippler DDT (Evenflow DDT). Crippler pushes him over, he covers him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris – This one is all over!

Logan Acker – The ROA Champion gets the win for his team!

Emily Lyle – The winners of this match Stephen Callaway, Erik Scorpion, and Chris Crippler!!

Crippler rises up, he’s blindsided by Storm. They start punching away on one another. They roll around on the mat, returning to their feet, they trade punches with each other.

Cliff Morris – Storm and Crippler are going at it!

Callaway attacks Sterling from behind. He gets over him punching away on him. Scorpion gets in the ring and starts kicking away on Devin.

Cliff Morris – Someone needs to stop this!

Security and referees fill the ring pulling everyone apart. They get Sterling and Callaway apart, they’re trying to get at each other. They get Scorpion and Devin away from each other. They pull Storm and Crippler from one another. Crippler and Storm try to get loose, but they can’t. Security and the referees hold everyone back as the show cuts to a commercial.
