Recorder Earlier
The scene opens with Absolution, Garlan Brown and Silas Adler, standing stoically and seriously, each have the UWL Tag Team Championship belts over their shoulder. They appear to have something on their minds. Brown exhales an exasperated sigh as he shakes his head.
Garland Brown: "Once again Absolution are your UWL Tag Team Champions. We told all you people that it was a matter of time and we’d be your tag team champions once again and as always we back up what we say we’re going to do.".
Silas Adler: "That’s right it took us far to long to get what was rightfully ours. But you’re looking at truth in action. Absolution proving once again why we’re the baddest two men on the UWL roster. "
Garlan Brown: "In typical UWL fashion. They throw at us what they are thinking will slow us down and take these belts from us. At Parade of Champions we’re forced to put our UWL Tag Team Titles on the line in the Round Robin Challenge. Guess what we’re going to be the first team in the history of the Round Robin Challenge to make a clean sweep".
Silas Adler: "That’s right line up all the teams you want and we’ll knock them all down!".
Brown shakes his head as he looks at Adler who's rubbing his hands together.
The scene fades.

Jenna Jillian Walker is walking into the ExploreAshville.com Arena when she is approached by Abby Jospeh.
Abby Joseph: Jenna, may I get a word with…
Jenna Jillian Walker: I am sorry to cut you off Abby but I just have to let this out.
Abby nods her head.
Jenna Jillian Walker: Over the last two months the world has watched me lose three straight matches in a UWL ring. That is unacceptable to me because I hold myself and what I do in the wrestling ring up to a very high standard. I always have and always will. So there is no excuse as to why I haven’t been able to get the job done and that ends tonight. Matt, you will just be a casualty of someone who is at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Jenna turns and walks away.

Eruption returns to the air and we're shown a wide sweeping shot of the Ashville Arena.
Cliff Morris: - "Welcome back to Eruption folks! In the ring now, we go to our colleague Emily Lyle!"!
Cut to the ring, where Emily Lyle waits to make an announcement.
Emily Lyle: - "Ladies and gentlemen, UWL fans young and old of Asheville, how are we feeling tonight?!"
There's a huge pop from the crowd. Emily smiles and nods in approval.
Emily Lyle: - "It would be my pleasure now to invite you in welcoming as special guest at this time: hailing all the way from the Windy Ciiiiity!"
She pauses as the crowd cheers for The Weatherman.
Emily Lyle: - "He is the UWL Heritage Champion and the NEW UWL Television Champion, the Weatherman Jackson Buuuuuuuuurrrnsiiiiiide!"
A loud crackle of thunder booms over the sound system and rips through the arena. "Weather Man" begins to play, the lights go out and a spotlight focuses at the top of the aisle. There's a longer delay than usual, Burnside is not standing there as expected for his entrance. After the lyrics to the song begin he busts out from the back, high energy and playing with the crowd. He's still dressed in his street clothes, baggy pants and a bomber-style jacket with sunglasses. His arms are outstretched as if to embrace the crowd. Both of his two title belt are noticeably absent. Burnside begins to make his way down to the ring but then stops after taking two steps. He feel around on his waist, then shoulders. Upon "realizing" the title belts are missing he holds up a finger to tell the crowd "one moment."
Logan Acker: - "Now where's he goin?"
Cliff Morris: - "Isn't it obvious?"
Burnside grins and jogs back behind the curtain. He returns ten seconds later with both arms outstretched and holding the title belts. The Heritage Title dangles at his right and the TV Title at his left. Burnside shouts something and then while continuing to carry both belts he heads down to the ring. Emily claps politely for Burnside as he heads up the steps and into the ring. Both belts go on a shoulder, but after trying to take a microphone from Emily and juggling with everything he hands it back to her. Then Burnside hands her the TV Title belt. The Weatherman puts the Heritage Title around his waist. Then he takes the TV Title back from Emily, throws it over his right shoulder, and finally grabs the microphone from her. As Emily exits the ring his music ceases to play.
Jackson Burnside drinks in the atmosphere for a moment. He paces in a small circle around the ring, taking the time to look out at the fans. He points out to a section in the crowd and gives an approving thumbs up. The camera pans over to reveal a group of fans with umbrellas and a large sign that reads "Weatherfan section." Back over to the ring as Burnside finally begins.
Jackson Burnside: "ASHEVILLE!... The Weatherman welcomes you to ERUPTION!"
Huge pop from the crowd.
Jackson Burnside: "Y'know something brothers, as I stand here in the ring right now tonight I can't help but feel unstoppable! Over the past few months I've torn through the UWL like Hurricane Lee rippin' up the east coast! But we ain't gonna pitter out when we hit the coast, this hurricane here dude ain't makin' landfall in Asheville just to pitter out and die! Because tonight is when the work starts! Billy Danielson and Ace Starr are gonna knock each other's teeth out to see who's next in line to fall victim to the Mag 7 or the Rack! To become next on list of names who've tried and failed to become Heritage Champion!"
He slaps the belt around his waist.
Jackson Burnside: "But as a side order, there's an entire locker room-" he points over to the aisle and figuratively to the back "-of brothers lookin' to step up to the plate and take a crack at the TV Title! I wanna go on record right now as say the same rules apply to the Television Title - same as the Heritage! I will defend any belt against any challenger, any time, any arena! Just say the word and step into the storm!"
Burnside looks right into the camera as he levels the open challenge. The crowd cheers again.
Jackson Burnside: "That mess is all down the line. Because right here tonight, your double-Champion teams up with the World Champion to face an angry Silverback and some freak who crawled outta the garbage pail. I won't mince words about it. The scales are stacked against us - we're lookin across the battlefield at two mean, ugly, strong SOBs and the good Lord knows there's no love-loss between me and Smythe. No matter how to read the radar, no matter which way the winds blow, there's one forecast that's always sure to pass. When it comes to gettin' it done in the ring, it doesn't matter if Hell's a'comin and your name is Cory Chevelle; it ainit important if you're the deathmatch dumbbell BRADDOCK: the Weatherman always weathers the storm and comes out on top!"
Burnside is fired up now. His face is pink and his breathing heavy. He removes his sunglasses and casually tosses them aside.
Jackson Burnside: "Now that we got business outta the way, let's talk real. The Weatherman is a straight shooter and I'm gonna say what's on my mind. In two weeks UWL returns to my favorite town - sorry Asheville it's just a personal thing! On September 30th UWL rolls back into Chicago! And this old weather man has a chance that, in all honesty brothers I didn't think would come back around after I lost to that damn CALEB HART! It's more than just an opportunity to become UWL World Heavyweight Champion again. 'Cause it two weeks, Chicago is gonna experience an unprecedented geological event! The earth is gonna rip open north to south, tear the I-90 Express Way apart, and swallow Daron Smythe! The Weatherman'll be the only one stepping out of the wreckage man, and the World Title is gonna be raised over my head. I will cement my legacy; make history by being the first and only man to hold all three singles Championships in this company. The Weatherman, Jackson Burnside your Heritage, Television, and World Heavyweight Champion! Cut, print, check the g-"
Burnside goes down as Cory Chevelle blindsides him from behind. Jackson instinctively crawls forward to the corner, but Chevelle is already on top of him.
Cliff Morris: - "Oh come on now, can't this wait for the main event?"
Logan Acker: - "Talk smack get slapped! Burnside wants to talk trash, and now he's got the Silverback on the attack!"
As Burnside rolls over he meets a barrage of right hands. Chevelle backs off in order for Burnside to begin pulling himself up. Chevelle runs forward with a big lariat as Burnside exits the corner: the Weatherman ducks! Burnside continues running forward, bounces off the ropes, and catches the Silverback with a huge running lariat of his own on the rebound.
Cliff Morris: - "The Weatherman rallying back now an- and Cory Chevelle backs off.
Chevelle rolls out of the ring as referees and officials hit the scene. Chevelle opts to comply for now, allowing himself to be wrangled up the aisle to the back. All the while he trash talks Burnside. The Heritage-TV Champ responds, just begging Chevelle to come at him again.[/i]
Cliff Morris: - "This didn't end at Under Pressure, not by a longshot Logan!"
Logan Acker: - "Ain't it the truth! The Weatherman still has a very real Silverback problem on his hand ahead of tonight's main event, and you have to wonder what Daron Smythe thinks about the fact his partner could have been takin out in the ring just now!"
The two big men continue to trash talk as staff keep the peace, and we traisition backstage...

Camera cuts backstage at Eruption as Daron Smythe is standing near the monitors, looking out at the carnage taking place in the main arena between Cory Chevelle and Jackson Burnside. A wry smile envelops his face as Abby Joseph walks up, microphone in hand...
ABBY: Daron, aren't you going to do anything to help your tag team partner in tonight's main event?
DARON: Abby, for over a year I operated with a chip on my shoulder - watching as people new and old got opportunity after opportunity, while I sat back, kept working, kept scratching, kept clawning. I just kept working. Every set back was an opportunity to learn and get better and figure this crazy place out. It's not like I'm a spring chicken. But, if I have any strength it's learning quickly. I kept that chip on my shoulder and used that anger and intensity to fuel each work out and each tape session. Eventually, all that hard work paid off, I got this right here *points to UWL World Title belt* and I felt this weight lift off my shoulder and that chip slowly disappeared. I was happy - personally and professionally. I've felt more than ready to carry the banner for this place and I'm happy to do it...
ABBY: Daron, with all due respect, what does that have to do with Cory Chevelle attacking Jackson Burnside?
DARON: That's the thing, Abby. This place has a weird way of protecting it's legacy wrestlers. When I first signed here, I saw Jackson Burnside was challenging Caleb Hart for the World Title and if you asked me, I would've bet a paycheck on Jackson Burnside to finally dethrone Caleb. But, he lost - and like some recommend, he went away and he "learned a new hold" so to speak. He came back with a vengeance. Do I think he's the guy to take the flag from me? Just like last time, no. But, the UWL brass has done something incredible - despite the fact that I've beaten everyone they've put in front of me in title matches - Anthony Cross, David Carroll, Mark Storm, I'm now in the position of being #2 for the first time in a long, long time. I can't deny it, he's been strong, but better than me? I don't think so. So, I'm going to give him a chance to prove it - if he thinks he's really #1, if he really thinks he's ready to take this championship from me, then show me, show everyone. Disregard some arbitrary ranking and be the man - because when push comes to shove, I'm not sure he can.
And, can someone explain to me why he's carrying around two belts? One of them being *MY* Television title, that I never lost? Can someone explain to me why he gets to keep both of those belts and I didn't? You see why that chip starts to reform back on my shoulder because I can see the signs, I can see exactly what is going on. Plus, an elimination four way title defense in two weeks at Parade of Champions? I may be annoyed at this and I may have expected anything but this because there's a million other things I want to do...
I want Billy Danielson in any sort of stipulation match where people can't interfere. I need to know, one on one, no bullshit, who is the better man. When I survive this title defense in two weeks, he will be the last guy of the old regime that I need to really beat. I can't count that victory due to David Carroll's interference. I know it, he knows it, everyone knows it. After beating David Carroll decisively, no one deserves a title shot more than Billy - maybe a steel cage match? I just need to know, once and for all, is it finally my time to consider myself the greatest to ever do it?
And then there's David Carroll lurking in the shadows. It seems like the UWL brass doesn't take him as seriously as they should. This man in dangerous and his power is growing, he's going to be dangerous, he's going to grow an army around him and the UWL is a pulpit for him to preach and grow his followers. Yeah, I know, he just lost to Billy Danielson as I mentioned earlier but I can't see this guy going away. He's not a Leonardo or Nick Danger or any of these other guys who had lighting in a bottle and slipped away, this guy knows how to spin a result, he knows how to frame things to his followers and he's charismatic as hell, he scares me more than anyone on this roster.
Then there's the other two challengers. Cory Chevelle, the Silverback, a guy I really do feel is going to be a top guy in this company, but what happens? He loses his title to Jackson Burnside. I'm really confused by this - I think if there's anyone in this company I relate to, anyone who I think could be the guy, it's him - he's doing everything right but somehow not getting to enjoy that success in ring. Maybe it's life's way of testing him? Maybe he's following the same path as me from a year ago? This is a guy I really and truly worry about but I'm not afraid - dude's a storyteller, dude's a beast in the ring, but is he willing to absorb the ups and downs of the UWL or will he fade away like so many others? In tonight's main event, we are going to find out, I'm going to get a really good look at him.
Then there's BRADDOCK - this dude is a wildcard and an absolute psychopath. I don't even know what to think about him. He's huge, dominate, aggressive - if he figures out how to harness his best qualities, he could really be the guy around here - but he's another guy that has to decide, is he really in for the long haul or is he the Goldberg or Ultimate Warrior type where they reach the top of the mountain and then it's "now what?" There's so much potential there but without execution, what is potential? A nice thought?
ABBY: That's a lot of response from one question, Daron. What do you think will happen in tonight's main event?
DARON: Well, if you put the #1 and #2 ranked wrestlers on a team, they should dominate, right? I'm not sure what will happen when the four of us get in the ring tonight but it should be a fun preview of the main event in two weeks. Whatever the result is, I'm ready. I stay ready. I will carry this UWL banner as long as I can and I will be consistent along the way. My contemporaries? I'm not sure.
Daron walks away from Abby as the camera fades to black...

Asheville, North Carolina is hosting UWL Eruption this week, and the crowd is electric. There's much to be excited about in an episode where every match feels like it could go one way or another. Someone who feels the excitement is The Franchised GOAT, Billy Danielson. Fresh off a win against rival David Carroll, Billy is feeling like the only direction for him to go is up. He walks out in front of a huge UWL banner and looks around. He can’t see the fans, but he can hear them, and more importantly, feel them, so he gets a big smile.
Billy Danielson - NORTH CACKALACKY!!!
He can hear the fans shouting from wherever he is in the arena and it makes him laugh a bit. Their excitement brings him so much joy that he can’t help but beem it at the camera.
Billy Danielson - I couldn’t have said it better myself. I feel the exact same way.
Billy swings his arms wide, as if motioning at something.
Billy Danielson - We’re in a unique time in the UWL. Everything is fresh and new. Old feuds have ended, new contenders are being made. Every single match tonight breeds some sort of potential we didn’t have before Under Pressure. Like take my match tonight…
He pauses for a moment.
Billy Danielson - This match a year ago would have been a wash. However, today? This is an absolute Match of the Night contender. Ace Starr is on a roll right now. He has a chance to take an opportunity that I feel has been a long time coming for me. Ace Starr has the potential to set himself at the top of the roster, and everyone should look out for him. He’s not afraid to take chances, and I fully support it…
A smirk pops up on Danielson’s face.
Billy Danielson - Any other night, but tonight. Any other opponent except myself.
Billy makes a fist to punctuate the jab. He smiles confidently at the camera.
Billy Danielson - You see, Ace, I need this opportunity. It’s not a want. It’s not a wish. I NEED. Not because of some narrative that I fell on hard times. I proved that all that was bogus at Under Pressure. No, I need this opportunity, because it’s a long time coming.
His tone changes. Billy get’s very stoic and nostalgic as he straightens up.
Billy Danielson - When I started in this company 8 years ago, there was the Triple Crown Championship, the Television Championship, and the Prestige Championship. I have held the Television and Prestige Championships, and I have even held the UWL World Championship. However, I have yet to become a triple crown and here is why. There’s a bit of a gulp here as Billy continues.
Billy Danielson - You see, 2015 Caleb Hart had scooped up the World, Heritage, and U.S. Championships and held them all as one unified championship, because he was just that damn good. After Caleb left UWL for his first retirement, the Heritage and US Championships stayed unified and were then made defunct as we moved forward with just UWL World Championship until the UWL’s rebranding in 2019. That’s when the US Championship made it’s glorious return to UWL television, and a few years later would get rebranded by a returning Caleb Hart back to the Heritage Championship.
Realizing he might have lost some people with that history re-hashing, Billy laughs to break it up and get back on track.
Billy Danielson - What I’m trying to say is, in order for me to get an accolade I’ve been chasing since the day I debuted, I have to beat Ace Starr and I have to go on to face The Champ Champ, Jackson Burnside.
Another nervous laugh by Billy.
Billy Danielson - And that’s a scary thought in and of itself, because Jackson Burnside is not someone I have a winning record against. However, that’s another reason why I have to beat you tonight, Ace Starr. I NEED to beat you. I NEED to beat Jackson Burnside. I NEED to continue the story that I started 8 years ago, because if I allowed it to end with just the World Championship, what would I have actually accomplished? What is the point of being The Franchise if I’m not in every single record book?
He shakes his head and he tries to fight back a bit of emotion.
Billy Danielson - I will become a Triple Crown Champion in every sense of the word, and I will not rest until I do. Ace Starr, I’ll see you tonight, and Jackson Burnside… I’ll be in touch!

The picture cuts across the arena and cuts to the ring.
Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!
The crowd is buzzing when suddenly the lights go out.
GREATEST OF ALL TIME
"Born for Greatness" by Papa Roach plays as the crowd buzzes, as the crowd goes nuts. The first verse plays out, causing more anticipation. As the verse comes to the end it pauses for a moment. All of the lights go out again, but then come right back on in full brightness!!!

Suddenly, Billy "The G.O.A.T." Danielson walks out from behind the curtain to a huge pop, as he makes his way down to the ring. He's in wrestling gear, high-fiving fans as he makes his way to the ring. He wipes his feet before going up to the apron, and into the ring. The fans continue to cheer as Danielson throws his arms in the air. He slowly backs into his corner and waits for the bell to ring.
The phrase is sung out and "I'm The Coolest" by Alice Cooper hits the speakers. Ace tears through the curtain to the stage strutting out slowly pushing his sunglasses down on the edge of his nose looking out at the crowd. Ace struts around the stage looking at the crowd on each side.
Emily Lyle - From Clearwater, Florida, weighing two hundred and two pounds, Ace Starr!!
Ace slowly makes his way down the aisle moving slowly to the ring apron, turning looking back up the aisle at the entrance before turning around facing back at the ring. Cliff Morris - It’s time for the number one contender for the Heritage Championship. The winner of this match up will receive their shot at the Heritage Championship on October 14th.
The bell sounds. They circle one another. They go to lock up, Starr knees Danielson in his stomach stunning him. He nails him across his back with a clubbing shot. He pulls him around to lift him up, but Danielson slides down back to his feet. He goes to send Danielson to the corner, but Danielson comes back with shoot kicks to the leg of Starr. Danielson comes at him, but Starr knees him in his stomach. He goes to lift him up, but Danielson slides him down. He pushes Starr into the corner. Danielson comes at him, Starr dodges out of the way. Starr runs off the ropes back at Danielson, nailing him with a running shoulder block that flips Danielson over onto the mat.
Cliff Morris - Ace Starr full of himself after that running shoulder block.
Logan Acker - Ace Starr never lacks confidence.
Starr pulls Danielson up to his feet. He pulls Danielson around, slinging him over the top rope out to the ring apron. Starr turns, he throws his arm in the air. Danielson pulls himself up on the top rope, he leaps off nailing Starr with a springboard forearm. Starr staggers back. Danielson nails him with a pair of kicks which stun Starr. He leaps into the air nailing him with a dropkick which sends Starr down on the mat.
Cliff Morris - Billy Danielson has an opening he needs to go on the attack!
Logan Acker - This is the opening Billy Danielson needed!
Danielson stands over the fallen Starr. He leaps into the air landing down on Starr with a diving elbow drop. Danielson covers him, the referee counts.

The show cuts from ringside to the backstage locker room area where Cory Chevelle is. He's got his ring gear on and appears to be warming up and stretching before his match tonight. Abby Joseph enters the scene, approaching Chevelle.
Abby Joseph: Excuse me, Cory.. Cory Chevelle do you have a minute?
Chevelle stops going through his routine and slowly turns his head in Abby's direction.
Cory Chevelle: I've got all night for you sweet heart, what'd you have in mind? Meet back up at the hotel later?
You can see Abby become uncomfortable
Abby Joseph: Flattering.. I think but no I was hoping you could shed some light on your loss at the previous show to Jackson Burnside. Fans are still talking about the great match you two have and we wanna know what to expect tonight?
Cory Chevelle: Abby, if I were to tell you all that it wouldn't be much of a surprise later now would it. As my loss goes, what is it people wanna know? I'm pissed and I don't accept it. Plain and simple.
Abby: What do you mean you don't accept it?
Cory Chevelle: It ain't over between us Jackson. Not by a long shot. Tell me I didn't take him past the line like nobody before! You think I'm settling for anything after losing the UWL Television Championship? Hell, Jackson free'd me of a championship I already held and made history with. He free'd me of a title that's viewed as "less than" since my last stint here. Frankly my goals since returning aren't to build a division. I'm here to fight, win, and acquire new gold. I'm here to make this company and sport mean something again, you follow me Abby?
Abby Joseph: Will there be a rematch?
Cory Chevelle: Does there need to be. I'm not after the TV title. Or the Heritage title for that matter. But do I wanna show JB what it truly entails when you have a fight with the Silverback? Absolutely. See JB, you're not better than me. I won't accept you as better or superior. I meant when I said there can only be one of us ruling this place and I'll be damned if I let you take it. The fight ain't over brother and that's a lesson you're gonna have to learn the hard way.
Abby Joseph: What are your thoughts on your partner, Braddock? Do you think your opponents have the edge over you having such prolific champions against you and a newer roster member?
Chevelle rolls his eyes.
Cory Chevelle: I think you're underestimating my partner Abby. Braddock is no push over, and I can say that having been in the ring with the sumbitch. I gave that man two full chair shots to the head before putting him down. So you wanna know my thoughts? My partner might be new but he's no rookie and he takes it all on the dome like a man which is more than I can say for some. What Braddock is gonna find out tonight, in the main event, when you're rollin' with me it's another kind of game. But we play for keeps all the same. A win over JB and smythe would be huge for him. If he listens to me, we'll breath them ass's tonight and go home victorious. Smythe and JB both need a reality check. Frankly I'm sick of seeing both of em walk around like they're it in this locker room. Abby if there's one thing I've proven, lightning doesn't strike twice. Tonight everyone needs to pay attention, because things are gonna change around here.
Show goes to commercial
