UWL - All-Star Spectacular - 7/22/17

The show returns with Emily Lyle standing in the ring as the fans are on their feet cheering.

Emily Lyle - This match is set for one fall!

A typical marching band cadence plays and Stephen Moore comes out from the back. He's got an American flag over his shoulder and a microphone in his other hand. He takes a few steps to the left and places the flag into a stand that has been set up just outside the entrance. The cadence ends, hidden fans begin to blow on the flag to make it flutter, and Moore stands in front of it speaking.[/div]

Stephen Moore: "Ladies and gentlemen. Please rise and join me at this time. Introducing the challenger/competitor (please select each week), he stands at six-foot five and tips the scales tonight at two-hundred and eighty pounds. All the way from Fairfield Connecticut, the Mainstream Mastodon/The Great Right Hope/The Latest American Hero (please pick a random one each week), James-Michael, DRAAAAAKKKEEE!!!!!"

When the rendition of "America the Beautiful" begins to play James-Michael Drake steps out from the back, marching with purpose. Moore applauds wildly, and JMD turns to the flag and salutes. He walks down to the ring ahead of Stephen Moore and when he reaches it, rolls under the bottom rope. JMD pops back up and raises both hands in the air. He then holds them outstretched and does a small hop before spinning around 540 degrees. James-Michael cracks his neck and hops back and forth on his heels as he waits for the match to begin.


Cliff Morris - James-Michael Drake set to make his in ring debut.

Logan Acker - That's right, Matt Mathews chose to get in James-Michael Drake's business at ROA 16 and he got dealt with!

The opening sounds of Black Diamond begins to play as the music blast through out the arena, Hollywood Black steps through the curtain looking out at the crowd, slowly looking out at the crowd with his hand over his eyes, surveying the crowd.

Emily Lyle - From Los Angles, California, weighing two hundred and twenty five pounds! Hollywood Black!

Hollywood Black slowly walks down the aisle, looking at the crowd adjusting his wrist tape. Sliding into the ring, Hollywood Black goes to the ropes, he puts one leg on he second rope throwing his right arm in the air. Slowly turns moving back as he waits for the match to begin.

Cliff Morris – We’re ready for the opening match here tonight. As, Hollywood Black takes on James-Michael Drake.

Logan Acker – James-Michael Drake is going to tear things up here in ROA. Mark my words, it will happen!

Stephen Moore gets on the ring apron yelling at Black. He turns looking at Stephen Moore, slowly walking toward him. Drake runs at Black nailing him with a big boot to the back of his head, the bell sounds. Drake pulls him around grabbing him into a side headlock. He wrenches his arms. Black sends him off. Drake runs off the ropes back at Black. He runs at him, Black goes for a clothesline, but Drake ducks under. He grabs him by his mask jerking him back, he stumbles. Drake comes up behind him locking his arms around him throwing him back with a German suplex. Black lays on the mat as Katie LeRoux looks on with a look of concern.

Cliff Morris – Katie LeRoux has a look of concern on her face!

Logan Acker – She should be concerned! Black’s in there with James-Michael Drake!

Black gets up slowly off the mat. Drake takes him down with a standing dropkick. Blake lays on the mat. Stephen Moore stands on the outside, proud of what he’s seeing. Black rises up off the mat. Drake runs at him for a spear, but Black dodges out of the way. He turns, running at Drake, and hits him with a running forearm strike.

Cliff Morris – Hollywood Black showing signs of life!

Logan Acker – James-Michael Drake knows what he’s doing!

Black runs at him, but Drake grabs him taking him down with a gutwrench suplex. Drake turns on Black into a front facelock. He turns rising up coming back up with him with a side headlock.

Cliff Morris – I will give James-Michael Drake credit. His transitions from move to move is crisp.

Logan Acker – Oh, now you want to suck up to James-Michael Drake!

Black sends Drake off into the ropes. Drake runs back at Black full steam, he runs him over with the Star Spangled Shoulder. Black flips back over onto the mat.

Cliff Morris – James-Michael Drake just clocked Hollywood Black!

Logan Acker – Someone get the number of that truck that just bulldozed Hollywood Black!!

Drake runs at him planting down onto Black with a Curb Stomp. Drake covers him, Stephen Moore throws his arms in the air, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris – It’s all over!

Logan Acker – That’s right it’s all over!

Drake rises up, he jerks his hand away form the referee. Stephen Moore comes in, he raises Drake’s hand in victory. Drake stands cracking his neck hopping back and forth as he looks out at the crowd as the show cuts to a commercial.

The show returns cutting to Emily Lyle standing in the ring.

Emily Lyle - This match is set for one fall!

The lights go down as the opening drum beats of "Welcome to the Jungle" hit. Red-colored Red and blue lights wash over the crowd. After the first couple chords, a man walks through the curtain. With a red spotlight shining from directly behind him, all you can make out is his silhouette, but the identity is clear from the unmistakable shape of a man. He stops at the entrance and takes a few moments to soak in the atmosphere.

Emily Lyle - From Hartford, Connecticut, weighing two hundred and five pounds! Ron Gregory!

He looks to the right then to the left throwing his arms out at each side, slowly throwing his right arm forward pointing toward the ring, Ron Gregory walks toward the ring. Ron continues to the ring with swagger, slowly unbuttoning his coat as he walks. Ron slowly walks up the ring steps stomping with each step. Moving slowly into the ring, throwing his coat open and throwing his arms in the air. Ron turns walking across the ring waiting for the match to begin.

Cliff Morris - Ron Gregory is still sour over losing the ROA Tag Team Championship at ROA 16.

Logan Acker - I don't blame him! They should be the ones getting the rematch at this FUSION event, but no that's not happening!

Deckard walks the entrance aisle, left to right as he does, the fans of the ROA can be heard giving him a chorus of cheers from the cult following of fans he's come to garnish, though mostly Caine can be heard receiving mostly boo’s and hatred from those throughout the arena before he finally re-takes the center stage in the entrance aisle as Caine does, he pretends to change his outstretched left arm that can be seen having the golden gauntlet that he can be seen wearing into that of Mega Man's Mega Buster, then acts as if he's pumping his arm (viva Roman Reigns) smashing his fist into the ground below him.

Emily Lyle: "Weighing in tonight at Two hundred and Seventeen pounds, he stands approximately Five foot Eleven inches in height. He hails from Gotham City, New Jersey he is... "THE ANTAGONIST" he is... DEEEECKARD CAAAAINE!!!!!"

Caine slowly raises up from his down position and slowly walks on down the entrance aisle, as he does he stops in the center of the aisle, a white piercing light comes shining down upon him and illuminating his figure under the light as he stands in the entrance aisle looking out into the darkness that surrounds him for a few seconds. As he does he soaks in the various chants of “You Suck” that can be heard echoing throughout the arena, his eyes burn with intensity, as he mentally prepares himself for the war he's about to take part in, his body pounding with adrenaline as he makes his way down to the ring. As Caine can be seen slowly getting closer to the ring the chants continue to linger on, eventually drowning out his theme music.

Cliff Morris – We’re ready for action. As Ron Gregory is set to take on Gabriel Caine.

Logan Acker – Ron Gregory has a beef as to why he and Ethan Lucas aren’t still the ROA Tag Team Champions, and why they aren’t getting the rematch.

Cliff Morris – That remains to be seen, and will fix its self.

The bell sounds. Ron runs at Caine nailing him with punches. He grabs him lifting him up into fireman’s carry position. Ron throws him out dropping Caine with a gutbuster. Caine rolls over on the mat grimacing in pain. Ron rises up. He walks over Caine’s stomach. Ron jerks him up off the mat. He locks him up into his arms and throws him down with a exploder suplex. Ron walks around the ring almost in a strut. Ron runs at Caine nailing him with repeated kicks to his chest. He steps back. Caine rises up slowly off the mat. Ron runs at him grabbing him around his head dropping him with a jumping cutter. Ron sits on one knee as Caine lays on the mat grimacing in pain.

Cliff Morris – Ron Gregory is dominating this match up!

Logan Acker – Taking out his aggravation is more like it!

Ron runs at Caine nailing him with a roundhouse kick sending him down to the mat. Ron rises up, he goes out to the ring apron. Ron makes his way up to the top rope. He leaps off landing down on Caine with a diving headbutt. Ron turns, he look at Caine laying on the mat with an intense look on his face.

Cliff Morris – I’ve never seen Ron Gregory with this aggressive.

Logan Acker – You can only be pushed so far and you’ll push back. That’s what we’re seeing here!

Ron jerks Caine up off the mat. He grabs him throwing him down with a belly to belly suplex. Caine lays on the mat motionless.

Cliff Morris – Caine is out!

Logan Acker – That’s right Ron Gregory taking care of business!

Ron jerks Caine up off the mat. He leans over lifting him up throwing him out with the The Landing (Olympic slam). Ron covers him, the referee counts.

Logan Acker – Ron Gregory the victor!

Ron rises up off the mat. He jerks his hand away from the referee. Ron goes to the corner, he raises his hands in the air high over his head, as the crowd showers him with boos. The show cuts to a commercial.

The show returns with the crowd cheering.

Emily Lyle - This match is set for one fall!

"Broken Down" by Sevendust rocks through the building as the lights fade out. As the song gets going Ethan Lucas steps out from behind the curtain with a purposeful look on his face.

Emily Lyle - From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing two hundred and ten pounds! Ethan Lucas!

Ethan heads down the aisle as the fans stick their hands out trying to touch him only to be ignored. He casually walks until he gets to the ring. He slides up onto the apron and soaks in the fans mixed reaction before climbing into the ring between the ropes. He stands on the bottom rope in the middle raising his right arm into the air with a clenched fist.

Cliff Morris - Ethan Lucas doesn't look happy.

Logan Acker - Nor should be after what all has happened to him in the last few weeks!

"Till The World Ends" by Britney Spears is heard on the sound system. Talia comes out from behind the curtain. When she gets to the ramp, shower fireworks reign down on her. She walks down the ramp with her hips moving back and forth and she is swinging her arms. She gets on the apron and enters the ring between the ropes. After that she walks over to the ropes on the right side and stands on the first rope.

Emily Lyle - From Buenos Aires, Argentina, by the way Mexico City, weighing one hundred and twenty five pounds!! Talia Areano!!

She then bends over and looks at the fans with a smile on her face. She then gets off the ropes and walks to one side of the ring and waits for the officials to start the match.

Cliff Morris - We're ready for our next match up. As, Talia Areano takes on Ethan Lucas.

Logan Acker - Ethan Lucas will unleash pain upon Talia. She will feel the brunt of all his frustrations.

Talia runs at Ethan lunging at him nailing him with hard forearm strikes, he falls to the mat. Talia kicks him in his chest with repeated kicks in the corner, the referee tries to back her up, Talia keeps kicking him in the chest with hard kicks. Talia steps back, she has an intense look on her face. Talia runs at Ethan kicking him again with a hard kick. She pulls him to his feet, she pulls him around sending him to the ropes. Ethan runs off the ropes, Talia goes for a clothesline, Ethan ducks under. Talia turns, Ethan smacks her across her face stunning her. Ethan grabs Talia lifting her up and down with a vertical suplex. Ethan turns on the mat rubbing Talia’s face back and forth across the mat. Ethan pulls her up to her feet. Ethan smacks her with a pair of smacks, then nails her with a back elbow staggering Talia. Ethan runs at Talia nailing her with a clothesline sending her over the top rope down to the floor.

Cliff Morris - Ethan Lucas just sent Talia out to the floor!

Logan Acker - Now things are about to get interesting!

Ethan walks around the ring looking very confident. Ethan turns to move to the floor. Talia gets up slowly off the floor. Ethan drops down, he grabs Talia, he sends her to the guardrail, she runs at the guardrail. Ethan runs at her, Talia turns nailing him with a dropkick. Talia rises up, she kicks him in his chest with a pair of kicks. Talia grabs Ethan pulling him up, she throws him face first in the ring post. She grabs the dazed Ethan around his head planting him on the floor with a swinging neckbreaker. Talia rises back to her feet, she slides back in the ring. Ethan lays flat on his back.

Cliff Morris - Ethan Lucas is down and out!

Logan Acker - Ethan Lucas may be down but he’s not out!

Ethan lays on the mat grimacing in pain. The referee moves back in the ring telling Talia to back up, she moves back. Ethan slowly gets to his feet on the floor. Ethan moves to the ring. Talia stands with her back turned after sliding in the ring. Ethan moves back in the ring, he see’s what is going on. Ethan runs at Talia nailing her with a knee to the back. Ethan stomps away on her as Ron Gregory looks on watching Ethan lay in the kicks.

Cliff Morris - Ethan Lucas laying in some hard kicks!

Logan Acker - That’s what Ethan Lucas does! He goes to break you down!

Ethan kicks away on Talia with hard kicks. Ethan pulls her to her feet throwing her down with a bodyslam. Ethan goes back off the ropes, he runs at Talia landing down on her back with a running knee drop. Talia rolls around grimacing in pain grabbing at her back. Ethan grabs Talia turning her around grabbing her. Ethan grabs Talia locking her in the dragon sleeper. Ethan locks the hold on, the referee checks on Talia, she is screaming in pain, trying to get fee. Ethan pulls back on the hold adding pressure on Talia. Talia screams in pain, Ethan pulls back on the hold even more, the referee checks on Talia, she doesn’t give up.

Cliff Morris - Talia hanging on!

Logan Acker - Ethan Lucas will force Talia to give up!

Ethan pulls back even more on the hold, Talia reaches for the ropes, and tries to get free, she just can’t. Ethan pulls on her adding pressure on Talia’s back, the referee again ask if she gives, she shakes her head no. Talia starts moving around, she is fighting to get free, but just can’t. Talia reaches her free arm out, she grabs for the ropes, but just can’t reach the ropes. Ethan pulls on Talia, the referee checks on her, she reaches out trying to get to the ropes, but just can’t. Ethan looks worried. Talia reaches out grabbing the bottom rope. The referee jumps up calling for a break, Ethan doesn’t break the hold.

Cliff Morris - Come on break the hold!!

The referee starts his count.

Ethan breaks the hold. Talia lays on the mat against the ropes grimacing in pain arching her back. Ethan pulls her to her feet. Ethan grabs Talia by her hair, he slaps her, she falls against the ropes. Ethan turns looking around, Ruby stands on the floor celebrating. Ethan walks toward Talia, she elbows him in his stomach stunning him. Ethan gathers himself, he comes at Talia again, she again elbows him in his stomach. Ethan shakes it off, Talia rises up kicking him in his stomach. Talia comes up smacking Ethan with repeated smacks.

Cliff Morris - Talia is coming back!

Logan Acker - Nope, not going to happen!

Ethan is rocking. Talia runs at him grabbing him around his head, she plants him down with the Slice of Heaven - (Sliced Bread 2). Talia pushes him over, she covers him, the referee counts.

Talia rises up to her feet. She stand with her arms in the air as the show cuts to a commercial.

The show returns with the crowd is on their feet. The picture cuts to the ring.

Emily Lyle - This match is set for one fall!

“Radio” by Wolfmother echos throughout the arena as Kevin Moss steps between the curtain. The fans in attendance go wild at the sight of him and Kevin responds with a huge smile. He pauses for a moment at the top of the entrance, looking out at the crowd. Flashes can be seen all over the building as cameras are going off.

Emily Lyle - From Santa Barbara, California, weighing two hundred and twenty five pounds! Kevin Moss!

The energy in the arena continues to build and Kevin turns his attention to the ring with a look of determination in his eyes. He stretches his shoulders as he makes his way to the ring. Kevin high-fives his fans while walking down the ramp before a short sprint. He slides under the bottom rope and springs to his feet inside the ring. Quickly bouncing off the ropes, Kevin continues to warm up while his music begins to fade.

Cliff Morris - Kevin Moss has shaken off that attack from Stephen Callaway!

Logan Acker - Attack?! That was nothing!

The opening of Feel Invincible starts up as red and blue lights strobe the entrance ramp as Grayson Hunt comes out to the cheers of the crowd. He jumps around the ramp amping up the crowd as the cheer his name.

GARYSON! GRAYSON! GRAYSON!


Emily Lyle - Coming to the ring from Portland, ME the youngest of the Hunt Family, Weighing in at 235 GRAYSON “THE MAN OF STEEL” Hunt.

Grayson walks down the ramp shaking hands and high fiving the fans, on either side. Finally reaching the ring he slides under the bottom rope and again pumps up the crowd before climbing the corner turnbuckle, he throws his arms wide and then flashes an inverted diamond before jumping off the ropes and waiting for the match to start.

Cliff Morris – It’s time for our next match up. As, Kevin Moss takes on Grayson Hunt.

Logan Acker – Tell when this match is over between these two do gooders!

The referee calls for the bell both men slowly moves to the center of the ring both men circle each other slowly and lock up into a collar and elbow tie up. Hunt goes around Moss into a rear waist lock. Moss goes around behind Hunt and locks him into a headlock Hunt shoves Moss off. Moss hits the ropes Hunt drops down and Moss runs over Hunt hits the ropes runs back at Hunt and hip tosses Moss up and over. Moss gets up quickly Hunt runs at Moss and knocks him down with a spinning heel kick.

Cliff Morris – Grayson Hunt with a spinning heel kick!

Logan Acker – Yeah, yeah, yeah!

Moss rolls out to the floor to regroup. Hunt looks around runs across the ring leaps up and over the top rope out onto Moss with a suicide dive on the floor. Hunt gets up pulls Moss up to his feet. Hunt grabs Moss, but he kicks Hunt in the stomach grabs him and shoves Hunt into the security railing. Moss pulls Hunt to his feet and shoves him again into the security railing. Moss pulls Hunt to his feet wraps his arms around Hunt and drives his back into the ring edge of the ring Hunt falls to the floor holding his back. Moss pulls Hunt to his feet and shoves him back into the ring. Moss turns around and looks at the fans in the front row before sliding back in the ring.

Cliff Morris – Both men bringing out the aggressiveness!

Logan Acker – Finally these do gooders trying to go for blood!

Moss gets to his feet as Hunt is lying on the mat holding his back. Moss stands over Hunt and drives his knee into Hunt’s back. Moss grabs Hunt pulls him to his feet. Moss grabs Hunt and locks him into the abdominal stretch. Moss pulls Hunt back the referee gets down in front of Hunt asking if he gives up as the referee is checking on Hunt. Moss the hold locking it on tighter, the referee checks, Hunt shakes his head no.

Cliff Morris – Kevin Moss has the abdominal stretch cinched in tight!

Logan Acker – Kevin Moss should turn and grab the ropes or something just to add to the excitement!

Cliff Morris – You just talk to hear yourself speak don’t you?!

Moss pulls on the hold adding more pressure, the referee gets back down asking Hunt if he gives up. Hunt manages to turn, he throws Moss over with a hip toss. Moss gets up off the mat. Hunt sends him down with a standing dropkick. Moss covers him, the referee counts.

Hunt pulls Moss up quickly, he grabs him around his arm. Hunt goes back to the ropes runs off the ropes and runs at Moss and nails him with a running forearm that knocks Moss back onto the mat. Hunt pulls him up to his feet, he grabs him around his head taking him down with a snap suplex. Hunt turns rising back up to his feet. They both return to their feet. Hunt runs at Moss, he grabs Hunt’s arm. Moss steps around sending him down with a side Russian leg sweep. Moss rises up off the mat, he pulls Hunt up with him. Moss pulls Hunt up to his feet. He goes to send him to the ropes. Moss reverses it. Hunt stumbles. Moss jumps up dropping Hunt with a backstabber.

Cliff Morris – Kevin Moss with a backstabber!!

Logan Acker – Kevin Moss trying to show he wants it more!

Moss pulls him up to his feet. They goes back and forth trading punches. Moss goes to send him to the ropes, Hunt reverses. Hunt pulls him around, he goes for a clothesline, Moss ducks under. He turns going for a clothesline, Hunt ducks under. Hunt takes him over with a Small Package, the referee counts.

They both return to their feet. Moss runs at him, but he gets dropped with a drop toe hold into the mat. Hunt runs at him, he nails him with a double knee to the face sending him back down onto the mat. He covers him, the referee counts.

Logan Acker - [font color="67c1fd"Yeah, the do gooder gets the win![/font]

Hunt turns, he looks at Moss as he gets up to his feet. Hunt extends his hand, they shake hands as the show cuts to a break.

The show returns cutting to the ring ready for the next match.

Emily Lyle - This match is set for one fall!

"Let you down" by Seether starts playing in the P.A System, while the lights go out and a spot light appears in front of the curtain.

If I could speak I'd tell you all my fears and deprivations
If I could feel I'd take away your pain
If I could bleed I'd show you all my scars and imperfections
If I could breather I'd hold you in my veins


Erik Scorpion comes out of the curtain giving his back to the ring and the public, extending the right side of his jacket with his right hand.

Beat down in fear and paralyzed
You've got me feeling like I have no other hand to hold
In this assisted suicide


Scorpion turns around, still extending the right side of his jacket with his hand and gives a smirk to the public as a slight laugh escapes him. He then starts walking towards the ring.

So say something beautiful
Say something you're keeping inside
This anticipation
I will only let you down


Scorpion continues his walk towards the ring, but takes a brief pause to look around. As he sees some fans extending his hands, trying to touch him, he ignores them and gets out of the way, avoiding any kind of contact with the fans.

Emily Lyle - From Miami, Florida, weighing two hundred and five pounds! He is the Endurance Champion Erik Scorpion!

Scorpion runs towards the ring and slides, and just as the chorus is nearing the end, while kneeling, he puts his knuckles together, spelling "STAY DOWN"

Erik Scorpion gets up and as the song continues he just stands in a corner waiting for the match to start.[/div]

Cliff Morris - Erik Scorpion doesn't look happy!

Logan Acker - Why should he be? Having to face another champion. It's not right, if you ask me.

Cliff Morris - No one did ask you.

'Remedy' by Cold plays and he steps through the curtain. At the top of the isle he makes a 'V1' prayer taunt with his nose between the first two fingers.

Emily Lyle - From Sacramento, California, weighing two hundred and thirty four pounds! He is the Horizon Champion!! Stephen Callaway!

He then struts to the ring singing along with his theme.

Erik Scorpion grabs a microphone.

Erik Scorpion – Look at you, Callaway. You think you’re so hot because you carry that Horizon Title around making claims that you’re not going to follow the rules. You think that makes you a big man.

Callaway looks around shaking his head, almost laughing.

Erik Scorpion – Standing before you in the Endurance Champion. I’m not stuck with rules to follow. I defend my title and I collect my check. It’s that cut and dry.

Cliff Morris – Erik Scorpion is running his mouth instead of getting down to action!

Logan Acker – Erik Scorpion has something to say!

Erik Scorpion – Callaway I’m going to show you who’s the better champion right here right now!

Erik Scorpion takes off his belt. Callaway runs at him nailing him with repeated punches, the bell sounds.

Cliff Morris – Callaway is taking it to Scorpion!

Logan Acker – Let them fight it out!

Callaway kicks Scorpion in his stomach doubling him over. He grabs him planting him down with a DDT. Callaway stands over Scorpion kicking him, the referee tells him to back up as he’s in the ropes, but Callaway keeps kicking away on him.

Cliff Morris – Callaway is kicking Scorpion while he’s in the ropes!

Logan Acker – This is what Callaway’s all about. Not all that Horizon junk!

Callaway steps back. He throws his hands up with the V1 taunt. Scorpion rises up off the mat. Callaway runs at him nailing him with the Calsi Kick (Superkick). Scorpion falls straight back on the mat. Callaway covers him, the referee counts.

Logan Acker – I’m in shock!

Callaway rises up taking the Horizon Title belt. He stands back as Scorpion slowly stumbles up to his feet. He looks shaken up as the show cuts to a commercial.
