UWL - Saturday Night 8-10-19

Emily Lyle - This first match is set for one fall!!

The lights in the arena go black. Across the screen a giant clock begins a ten second countdown, complete with milliseconds to give it that real countdown feeling. The clock runs out and over the arena the lights slowly begin to brighten up bathing the entire in a sea of red as the siren from the purge movies begins to play loudly over the PA system. The unsettling sound continues as the two members of Purge Night in America push through the curtains wearing even more unsettling masks followed right behind by their manager, Apollo Jones.

Emily Lyle - At a total combined weight of four hundred and forty pounds, with their manager Apollo Jones, Eddie Myers and Baron Kincade, Purge Night in America!!

As the duo make their way towards the ring, Apollo pushes his way towards the front and begins to talk at the camera because he cannot resist doing so.

Cliff Morris - Purge Night in America are two impressive specimens.

Logan Acker - Indeed they are. I have a feeling we're going to be watching out for these two.

“Kidou Keiji Jiban“ begins to play as the lights dim. Great Tyger and Super Tyger slowly walk out from behind the curtains and waves at the fans as they scream for the masked duo. They casually walk down the entrance way towards the ring and slaps the hands of the fans screaming for them.

Emily Lyle - From Japan, Super Tyger and Great Tyger!!!

Once at ringside, Great Tyger and Super Tyger hop onto the ring apron and climb into the ring. Here they walk over to the corner of the ring and talk in the corner, bouncing back up removing their capes, waiting for the match to start.

Cliff Morris - We're....

Myers and Kincade run at Super Tyger they nail him with a superkick in stero. They turn doing the same to Great Tyger. They stand looking around as Apollo Jones stands on the outside looking on.

Cliff Morris - WOW! What a way to make a debut!

Logan Acker - Those superkicks came out of nowhere!

Great Tyger gets to one knee. They run at him nailing him with a running double knee sending him back down to the mat.

Cliff Morris - This is domination!

Logan Acker - This is a beat down plain and simple!

Kincade pulls Tyger up leaning him over. He looks around as Jones looks on from the outside. Kincade drops him down with a vicious piledriver. Myers leaps off the top rope landing down on his stomach with a double stomp.

Cliff Morris - I'm told they call that it's a dead man's party!

Logan Acker - What a fitting name!

Myers covers him as Kincade stands guard, the referee counts.

Logan Acker - You can say that again!

Jones enter the ring as he joins, Myers and Kincade. They stand in all their dominance.

“Remedy” by Cold plays across the arena as Stephen Callaway in his full ring attire and his wife Missy walk to the ring.

Stephen: You know it’s confused me for the last couple of weeks as to why the UWL Television Title would not be on the line on UWL Television. So to rectify this, and because it worked so well the last time, I’m going to have another open challenge. So if anyone that wants to feel free to....... Actually you know what? It’s easy to come out here and call out anyone from the back. But then if I win, all of you will turn on me and say that I have scouted the entire roster’s strengths and weaknesses and that’s how I won. Missy, I want you to go out of the ring and pick someone from this rabble. Pick a fan, pick someone from the UWL Universe, pick anyone. Because there’s not a chance in hell I’ve been able to scout the audience.

Missy heads out of the ring. The crowd point at themselves and yell ‘pick me’ as Missy looks at the masses. Eventually she points at a fan who looks to be in his mid twenties in the crowd in a faded Robbie Venom shirt. Security help him over the barrier and Missy helps him into the ring.

Stephen: So what’s your name boy?

Fan: My name is Bob and I’m from Daytona!

The crowd cheer.

Stephen: Alright, settle down. Missy, did you choose this lad because you think he’s hot and have a bit of a crush on him?

Missy nods.

Stephen: Fair enough. Right Bob. What we’re going to do here Bob is we’re going to have a match for my UWL Television Title Bob. I want you to go and stand in the opposite corner Bob. When the bell rings Bob I want you to come out fighting. You got that, Bob?

Bob nods before heading to his corner. Stephen takes off his coat and hangs it on the turnbuckle post as a referee runs into the ring and calls for the bell.

Stephen: Actually, you know what Bob? I’ve changed my mind, Bob. See, if I beat you Bob what will probably happen is I’ll go on and fight Clay Krueger and to be perfectly honest with you Bob, I’ve proven everything I had to when I beat him at Destiny Bob. So I’m going to make history Bob. I’m going to lie down here Bob and you’re going to pin me Bob and you Bob are going to become the new UWL Television Champion and you Bob can face Clay Krueger.

Stephen walks to the center of the ring and lays down on the canvas. A confused Bob walks over to Stephen and kneels down to make the cover. As he does so, Stephen grabs Bob and rolls him up with a Small Package. The referee has no choice but to make the count.

Stephen: What’s the matter Bob? Did you, like Clay Krueger at Destiny, really think you were going to beat me? What I did right there Bob is exactly what I did to him at Destiny and what I will do to him again. I BEAT him just when he thought that MY UWL Television Title was there for the taking.

Stephen walks back to his corner and lifts his coat from the post.

Stephen: Don’t feel bad Bob. I want to give you something just now for being such a good sport tonight.

He offers the coat to Bob. As Bob reaches to take it, Stephen Calsi Kicks Bob before putting his coat on.

Stephen: One more title defense out of the way. Ade, I’ll see you in just a little bit.

“Remedy” plays again as Stephen and Missy head back up the isle.

Emily Lyle - This match is set for one fall!

The sounds of " Running Blind" fill the arena, Eligore appears at the entrance and starts walking towards the ring.

Emily Lyle - From Oslo, Norway, weighing two hundred and sixty four pounds, Eligore Oslund!!

The lights go down as the opening drum beats of "Welcome to the Jungle" hit. Red-colored Red and blue lights wash over the crowd. After the first couple chords, a man walks through the curtain. With a red spotlight shining from directly behind him, all you can make out is his silhouette, but the identity is clear from the unmistakable shape of a man. He stops at the entrance and takes a few moments to soak in the atmosphere.

Emily Lyle - From Hartford, Connecticut, weighing two hundred and five pounds! Ron Gregory!

He looks to the right then to the left throwing his arms out at each side, slowly throwing his right arm forward pointing toward the ring, Ron Gregory walks toward the ring. Ron continues to the ring with swagger, slowly unbuttoning his coat as he walks. Ron slowly walks up the ring steps stomping with each step. Moving slowly into the ring, throwing his coat open and throwing his arms in the air. Ron turns walking across the ring waiting for the match to begin.

Cliff Morris - It's time...

Ron runs at Oslund for a clothesline, he ducks under. Ron turns, Oslund nails him with a clothesline of his own. Oslund spins around clocking Ron with a discuss punch which staggers him. Oslund nails him with a toe kick which sends him down to the mat.

Cliff Morris - Oslund has came out on fire!

Logan Acker - This is as sharp as I've seen Oslund.

Oslund grabs Ron up to his feet, sending him off to the ropes. He comes off the ropes, Oslund grabs him up into his arms throwing him back with a fall away slam. Ron lays on the mat riving in pain.

Cliff Morris - Ron Gregory is in a bad way.

Logan Acker - Oslund showing off all his skills, the technique and now the strength.

They both return to their feet. Oslund kicks Ron in his stomach doubling him over. He grabs him around his head planting him down with a evenflow DDT.

Cliff Morris - Oslund looks like a man on a mission.

Logan Acker - Very impressive is all you can say.

Oslund grabs Ron up to his feet. He leans him over lifting him up he grabs him around. Oslund grabs him throwing him down with the White Wolf Howl (Running Crucifix Powerbomb). Oslund covers him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris - Eligoor Oslund with the win!

Logan Acker - That was as impressive a win as I've seen.

Emily Lyle - The winner of this match Eligoor Oslund!!

Oslund stands celebrating the win as he turns out of nowhere Matt Ryker and Titus Rush hit the ring, they nail Oslund hitting him in his back throwing him out to the floor. Jax Mason has a microphone in hand.

Cliff Morris - What is going on?!

Ryker and Rush attack Ron. They lay the boots to him. Ethan Lucas runs down, he gets nailed with a right hand which staggers him. Matt grabs Ethan throwing him down with a belly to belly suplex.

Jax Mason has a microphone in hand.

Jax Mason - We stated to the whole world, that we would invoke our rematch anytime, anywhere. That is what we're doing now. We threw that piece of trash Oslund out of our way no it's time for Strong Arm to do the same to Empire!!

Cliff Morris - This makes me sick!

Logan Acker - No to take up for these idiots but they did get the right to invoke this anytime.

Ryker and Rush are attacking Lucas and Gregory. Oslund is still on the floor being checked out. Rush has Gregory in the corner nailing him with repeated forearms.

Cliff Morris - This has started and this is uncalled for!

Logan Acker - Talk about having the odds stacked against you!

Matt grabs Lucas throwing him down with repeated belly to belly suplex's. He turns throwing him toward the ropes, he gets thrown back into Rush and they go out to the floor. Rush throws Lucas into the guardrail.

Cliff Morris - This is chaos!

Logan Acker - This is not what UWL is about!!

Matt grabs Ron up and drops him down with the Permission Granted (Modified Go 2 Sleep). Matt stands over the fallen Ron. He jerks him up and throws him down again with the Permission Granted (Modified Go 2 Sleep). Matt stands over Ron as he lays on the mat motionless.

Cliff Morris - Come on stop this!

Logan Acker - This makes me sick!

Cliff Morris - You have him down just stop it!!

Matt jerks Ron up to his feet. He throws his lifeless body up onto his shoulders. He throws him off hitting him with the Permission Granted (Modified Go 2 Sleep). Matt drops down, he covers him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris - This is over and this is just sick!!

Rush runs pushing the referee's out of the way, he kicks Oslund with repeated kicks. Rush turns, he slides back in the ring. They take the UWL Tag Team Title belts.

Cliff Morris - I hope UWL officials were watching this!

Logan Acker - Me too. This is just uncalled for!

Oslund gets up off the floor, he pushes the referee's aside. He starts in the ring, but out of nowhere, Gordon Carlson runs down standing beside Oslund.

Cliff Morris - Who's bad now boys?!!

Logan Acker - That's right let's see who's bad now!

Referee's come in standing between the two groups.

UWL official Bryan Crews comes down.

Bryan Crews - What we just saw was a disgrace. I'm sure Jax Mason you'll have some loophole to block Empire, but there time will come. So you can't block these two. So at Honor and Glory Strong Arm will defend the UWL Tag Team Titles against Gordon Carlson and Eligoor Oslund.

Jax Mason throws a fit in the ring kicking the ropes. Oslund and Carlson stand looking at one another as Jax Mason throws a fit in the ring.

Cliff Morris - We're being told there's something going on in the back!

Just before the picture cuts to the back, Callaway and O'Riley come around the corner of the ramp. They're trading punches. Callaway slaps O'Riley and throws him into the guardrail. Callaway kicks away on O'Riley with repeated kicks.

Cliff Morris - Callaway attacked O'Riley in the back and now has brought this to the arena area.

Logan Acker - You can this. Tonight has been a wild night.

Cliff Morris - More like out of control.

Callaway jerks O'Riley up, he jerks him toward the ring slinging him under the bottom rope. Callaway slides in the ring. He yells at the referee to ring the bell.

Cliff Morris - Callaway tells the referee to ring the bell. Who gave him the right to do that?

Logan Acker - Like I you said tonight has been out of control!

The bell sounds. Callaway runs at O'Riley nailing him with the Calsi Kick (Superkick). Callaway covers him, the referee counts.

Emily Lyle - From Montreal, Quebec, weighing two hundred and twenty pounds, Dex Valois!

Matt runs at Dex, but gets met with a clothesline. He sends him off into the ropes. Dex leans over throwing Matt with a back body drop. Dex runs at Matt nailing him with a running knee strike. Dex stomps away on Matt. He pulls him up to his feet. He sends him to the corner. Dex runs in at him nailing him with a running knee in the corner.

Cliff Morris - Dex Valois is taking it to Matt Ryker and Jax Mason looks like he's about to pass out!

Logan Acker - Dex Valois is a machine!

Dex grabs Matt grabbing him around his head dropping him with a brainbuster. Dex rises up to his feet. He runs at Matt nailing him with a shining wizard.

Cliff Morris - Dex Valois looks ready for the UWL World Title challenge at Honor and Glory!

Logan Acker - That is going to be a great match up I can't wait!

Dex runs at Matt grabbing him with one hand, he plants him down with the Kill Joy (Running One-armed swinging neckbreaker). Dex pushes him over, he covers him, the referee counts.

Dex Valois - Everyone who saw Destiny knows the truth about what happened there, so we don't need to go back in history and go on and on about that.

Dex looks around at the capacity crowd.

Dex Valois - At Honor and Glory, Gentry McCray you can't run, you can't hide before I'm coming and I am taking what is rightfully mine.

The crowd boos.

Dex Valois - You're look at the man who will take the Gent down. At Honor and Glory, August 24th on Pay-Per-View there will be no loopholes, no mistakes, nothing but myself being crowned the new UWL World Champion!

Dex flips the microphone out to the ring announcer. He walks around the ring taking in all the boo's as the show cuts to a break.

The bell sounds. They circle one another slowly. They lock up slowly into a collar and elbow tie up. Clay takes Ethan into a side headlock, he sends him off. Clay comes off the ropes. He runs off the ropes, Ethan goes for a clothesline, Clay ducks under. Ethan turns, Clay nails him with a dropkick. Ethan rolls on the mat riving in pain.

Cliff Morris - How much can Ethan Lucas take after what all has happened tonight?

Logan Acker - This has be tough for Ethan Lucas.

Clay pulls him up to his feet. He sends him off the ropes. Ethan comes off the ropes. Clay throws him with a back body drop. Clay pulls Ethan up off the mat. He grabs him around his head dropping him down with a swinging neckbreaker. Clay covers him, the referee counts.

Clay pulls him up to his feet. Stephen Callaway jumps over the guardrail, he's standing beside the ring as the referee is telling him to stay out of things.

Cliff Morris - What is this idiot doing out here?

Logan Acker - Someone needs to get Callaway away from ringside!

Clay see's Callaway and points at him telling him to get away. Clay pulls Ethan up. He holds onto him, out of the view of the referee, Callaway pulls Clay's leg's out from under him, he falls back, Ethan lands down on him. Callaway holds his leg down out of sight, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris - It's main event time. It's champion vs. champion non-title match up. As, UWL World Champion Gentry McCray takes on UWL United States Champion Talia Areano.

Logan Acker - Maybe now we can get some civil back to order with tonight's action.

The bell sounds, they both move to the center of the ring, slowly circling one another locking up into a collar and elbow tie up. Talia takes Gent into a wristlock, she pulls his arm around, as Gent stands grimacing in pain. Talia takes Gent around into a hammerlock, as she pulls up on his arm. Gent turns moving around taking Talia into a hammerlock of his own, as he nails her in the back of her neck with a clubbing forearm strike. Gent pulls Talia around clocking her with a knife edge chop, she stumbles back. Talia runs at Gent kicking him in his leg with a sharp kick, which stuns him. Talia grabs Gent around his head, she runs toward the corner, she kicks off the turnbuckles landing with a tornado DDT. Talia rises to her feet, she stands over the fallen Gent, she leaps into the air landing down onto him with a standing moonsault. Talia covers him, as the referee counts.

Cliff Morris - Talia has been on a different level since Gent pushed Talia to her limit!

Logan Acker - Talia needs to keep her composure going forward and just worry about winning this match, nothing more.

Talia rises to her feet, as Gent stumbles to his feet, she pins around nailing him with a spinning back fist. Talia grabs Gent around his wrist to send him into the ropes, but Gent blocks it, standing his ground. Gent nails Talia with a short-arm clothesline. He pulls her up off the mat landing a pair of sharp punches, which stun Talia. He sends her into the ropes, Talia comes back off the ropes, she jump up at Gent moving around planting him with a Tilt-a-whirl cutter.

Cliff Morris - Talia with a tilt-a-whirl cutter!!

Logan Acker - That came out of nowhere!!

Talia rises up to her feet, as Gent lays on the mat flat on his back. She steps out to the ring apron making her way up to the top rope. Talia stands on the top rope, as Gent is still laying flat on his back on the mat. She leaps up nailing him with a leg lariat, which sends Gent down to the mat. Talia covers him, as the referee counts.

They rise up to their feet. Talia sends him into the corner. She runs in at him, Gent dodges out of the way, Talia slams into the turnbuckles. Gent grabs her throwing her back with a release German suplex. Gent turns rising up to his feet. He pulls her up to his feet. He grabs her around her head, he lifts her up. Gent throws Talia down with a snap suplex. Gent covers her, the referee counts.

Gent pulls Talia up to her feet. He goes to send her to the ropes, but she blocks it nailing Gent with a enzguri. She rises back up. She goes to grab Gent sending him to the corner. Talia runs in at him, Gent dodges out of his way, Talia slams into the turnbuckles ramming her knees into the corner. Gent jerks her out of the corner.
