UWL - Saturday Night 1-16-21

Emily Lyle - The opening contest here at UWL Saturday Night is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!

Ryan Samuels comes out onto the ramp whipping his bull rope on the stage. Ryan turns mouthing off to the fans as he screams slamming the rope off the ground. Ryan walks down the aisle threatening to hit the fans with the rope as they move back in terror.

Emily Lyle - From Tribune, Kansas, weighing three hundred and twenty pounds, The Midwest Nightmare, Ryan Samuels!

Ryan moves around the ring threatening to whip the referee, swinging his rope around hitting the turnbuckles with it as he moves around the ring.

Cliff Morris - We're ready for tonight's opening contest. As...

Ryan adjust his elbow pad and runs at Lauren nailing her with clubbing shots. The referee calls for the bell. Ryan leans lifting Lauren up throwing her down with a bodyslam. Ryan drops a elbow drop down onto Lauren. Ryan covers her, the referee counts.

.. Kick out.

Ryan jerks Lauren up hitting her with clubbing shots. Ryan leans over lifting Lauren up for a powerbomb. She starts hitting Ryan in the face. Ryan drops Lauren. She starts hitting him with repeated slaps, punches and kicks. Lauren runs off the ropes and gets met with a big boot sending her down to the mat.

Cliff Morris - Lauren Parker had a opening and Ryan Samuels cut her off with a vicious big boot!

Logan Acker - Ryan Samuels is as rough and as tough a customer as I've seen come down the trail here in UWL in sometime.

Lauren gets up, shaken up. Ryan clocks her with the Ryan Express (Lariat) that turns her inside and out. Ryan covers her, the referee counts.

Ryan rises up to his feet, jerking his arm back from the referee threatening to hit the referee.

Lauren looks shaken up as she sits up on the mat.

The show comes back from break. Lauren is leaning against the ropes as The Phoenix have made their way down to the ringside area.

Cliff Morris - During the break, the Phoenix made their way out once again directing their attention toward Lauren Parker.

Lauren stands in the ring and standing on the stage area is the Phoenix, Bryan Moltres, Dave West, Jeremy Riggs, Shawn Leland, and Matt Ryker.

Matt Ryker - Once again Lauren Parker you failed to claim victory. How covenant is it that the officials around here had you facing one of the roughest, toughest wrestlers on all the roster. Once again you've been thrown to the wolves. Lauren Parker why do you do it to yourself?

Lauren looks on confused.

Bryan Moltres - Lauren Parker you're as bad as the rejects who fill out the roster here in UWL. They don't know the history and I am certain you don't either. They all fail to know have the knowledge to apply themselves. What is your excuse?

The fans boo the Phoenix.

Jeremy Riggs - Let's just cut to the chase. We've heard that on, February 13th, UWL will be having a special night. Let's just lay this out there for everyone to hear and you to mull over.

Lauren leans against the ropes.

Jeremy Riggs - February 13th, two of us take you, Lauren and the man who stands beside your side through thick and thin. But, yet where is he?

The Phoenix start acting like their looking around.

Jeremy Riggs - Two of the Phoenix against Lauren Parker and Robb Daniels. If the Phoenix win you join our group. If you win you and your invisible man get a shot at the UWL Tag Team Championship.

The Phoenix stands all smiles as Lauren looks on thinking over what she just heard.

The show cuts to a break.





Backstage, Echo Layne and Alex Monroe known as Team Madness were chatting it up loudly as always. Echo had a solo match tonight with Owen Daniels, Robb Daniels son her other current boss/employer.

Echo Layne: Who knew Robb Daniels had a son? Holy crap, I need to pay attention more. I miss a lot of things? Maybe it's because I don't care or I'm too focused on those Tag Team Titles. That are going to look absolutely wonderful around our waists.

Echo and Alex looked at each other.

Echo & Alex: Clap for your soon-to-be tag team champions! Team Madness!

They said together at the exact same time. Echo and Alex laughed as they did a few geeky poses with each other as if they had the actual championships in their possession.

Echo Layne: I'm not sleeping on Owen and I hope he's not on me? I hope he brings all he's got. Because I'm bringing everything but the kitchen sink. Don't underestimate me. I've proved myself over and over in Mainstream and I plan on proving ALL the haters wrong here.

Alex Laughed.

Alex Monroe: This might be a singles match? But, I'll be in my best friends corner always. We have each other's back and we're the definition of Teamwork.

Echo Layne: Owen do whatever you have to do to prepare yourself for tonight. Because I'm about to show you what I'm about.

Echo and Alex skipped away down the hallway.

The camera fluidly transitions to the hallway of the Addition Financial Arena that houses the talent of UWL. It focuses on the rear end of an obviously female wrestler, lingering just a little too long. As the undoubtedly long strides generate a sensual twist to her hips, a snarky yet undeniably feminine voice breaks the irregular silence.

Lilith Rising: You have about three seconds to take your virgin eyes off of your future spank bank material or I will make sure that spank bank is utterly useless. Have I made myself clear enough, my clueless vestal virgin?

The focus becomes shaky and the view changes to a distant, full length shot of the “Perfect Storm” Lilith Rising, who’s dressed in a black leather catsuit with multiple silver chains dangling from her abundantly sensuous curves along with matching knee high stiletto boots. She makes a slow turn towards the camera, revealing a dangerously low zipper that’s open to the bottom of her cleavage and a malicious smile on her ebony lips .

Lilith Rising: Get it together man! You know as well as I do that I’d eat you alive. Now just do your damn job!

She makes an abrupt change of direction, completely ignoring the fact that she’s no longer alone. Within moments, Lilith reaches her objective, reaching out and turning the knob without knocking. When the door swings open, the sign reads, “Jake Mason”. She leans in, smiling before striding confidently inside.

Lilith Rising: You’d never believe what just - well, you probably already believe it but lemme tell you what just happened.

She begins to pace across the room as she becomes more animated.

Lilith Rising: Some forever virgin was manning the camera - can’t imagine what idiot hired him but anyway - he was completely focused on my ass! I mean, I can’t fault his taste but it was so unprofessional!

She finally stops pacing and focuses her cat eyes on Mason.

Lilith Rising: You of all people should understand the level of unprofessionalism around here, right?

Jake Mason doesn’t even pay attention to her gloating about having a great ass, and people wanting to check it out. Instead he just keeps his top hat pulled down to where you can’t see his eyes.

Jake Mason: Something went wrong. Things weren’t supposed to go the way they went. There was a glitch somewhere in the timeline. There had to have been. I wasn’t supposed to get eliminated first. Samuels was. He was supposed to get eliminated and then cost me my chance in the battle royal. That was supposed to be the rise to greatness I was promised by our lord.

All of a sudden, Jake Mason realizes that he isn’t alone in the room. He pushes his hat up a bit and notices Lilith Rising.

Jake Mason: When did you get here? See, I should have known you were here, and yet another surprise.

Lilith tilts her head slightly, placing her hands on her hips.

Lilith Rising: You missed my entrance? Something really is off then.

She slides into the nearest seat to Jake and runs her fingers through her blonde locks.

Lilith Rising: You need to shake off that match and refocus your energy. Maybe your rise to greatness begins tonight when you completely decimate whatshernuts. I’ve consulted the spirits and it’s a forgone conclusion.

Jake Mason looks up before he throws his hat across the room.

Jake Mason: Jessie Roberts is a bug. A bug you should have stomped on when you had your chance. Now is the time for true deliverance of her life force. But it must be handled with class, and a delicate touch. Even the slightest alteration of his plan will cause yet another slip. I already felt myself fading away last week. I don’t believe I will survive another failure.

Lilith cuts a sharp look at Jake then shrugs her shoulders.

Lilith Rising: Jessie Roberts is no longer on my radar, Jake. I’m not wasting any more of my time on her. I deserve an opponent on my level. So do us both a favor and end her so no one else has to suffer her presence any longer.

Jake Mason closes his eyes and tries to find focus.

Jake Mason: Must focus on Jessie Roberts. Must not leave the match and go after Ryan Samuels until it is time. Must not fade away.

She sighs heavily and rests her elbows on her knees, letting her hands dangle.

Lilith Rising: You know I’ll help you out if you want, right? Can’t let you go fading away on me before the big revelation, you know. So what do you know about AJ Knight? From your time I mean.

Jake Mason: His time is now, but soon to come to an end. All will be forfeit in his life soon.

Lilith Rising: Interesting...so you want a hand tonight?

Jake Mason: Tonight what must be done, will be done. Tonight everyone will be given a new revelation. There will be yet another prophecy.

Lilith Rising looks intrigued by what Jake Mason has to say. She goes to speak again, but notices that almost like magic Jake Mason’s top hat is back on his head covering his eyes.

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!

"Outsider" by Veil of Maya begins playing throughout the arena. The lights dim with multiple spotlights crossing on the stage as Owen Daniels appears with a smug look on his face looking out at the fans. Daniels begins walking toward the ring. He climbs the ring stairs, walks along the apron to the far corner and stands on the middle rope leaning against the top turnbuckle with one arm in the air.

Emily Lyle - From Knoxville, Tennessee, weighing two hundred and sixteen pounds, Owen Daniels!

Daniels looks down at the camera pointing at it telling the fans watching from home just how good he is. He steps down from the ropes and enters the ring through the middle and top rope and awaits his opponent.

"Toxic", Starts playing as Echo Layne emerges onto the stage with a huge smirk/smile upon her face, she proceeds to skip down the ramp-way and jumps onto the edge of the ring and sit upon the middle rope smiling.

Emily Lyle - From Chicago, Illinois, weighing one hundred and thirty pounds, Echo Layne!

Cliff Morris - Owen Daniels the son of former World Champion Robb Daniels making his one on one debut as he prepares to take on Echo Layne.

Logan Acker - Young, Owen Daniels is ready to make his own name, if you don't believe him just asking him.

The bell sounds. They both move from their corners, circling one another. They lock up into a collar and elbow tie up. Owen takes Echo into a side headlock wrenching his arms around her head. She goes to send him off. But, Owen holds onto the headlock. Owen wrenches his arms around her head. Echo walks Owen back against the ropes. She goes to send him off. Owen holds onto the headlock grabbing Echo by the hair of her head keeping her into the headlock.

Cliff Morris - Owen Daniels showing tricks his dad wasn't afraid to use.

Logan Acker - The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Echo manages to hit Owen in his lower back with a pair of forearm strikes. Owen breaks the headlock. Echo jumps up taking him down with a dropkick. Owen bounces back up. Echo takes him down with a leg lariat. Echo rises up to her feet. Echo goes out to the ring apron, she starts to head toward the top rope. Owen comes at her cutting her off.

Cliff Morris - Owen Daniels cutting Echo Layne off as she was looking to head to the top rope!

Logan Acker - Owen Daniels cutting Echo Layne off at the start.

Owen hits Echo with a pair of forearm strikes. He rams her head into the top turnbuckle. Owen grabs Echo suplexing her back into the ring. Owen floats over covering her, the referee counts.

Owen rises up jerking, Echo up with him. He sends her into the ropes. Echo comes back at Owen. He goes for a clothesline, Echo ducks under. Owen turns and gets met with a back elbow followed by a slap. Echo grabs Owen planting him down with a facebuster. She pushes him over covering him, the referee counts.

Backstage of the Addition Financial Arena, Jake Mason makes his way through the halls with a focus in his eyes. His pace seems to pick up as he seemingly finds his objective. Walking up on Ryan Samuels, Jake Mason taps his cane on the floor to get the big man's attention.

Jake Mason: Reality needs to be put back in his proper place. The ramifications of your actions are going to cause turmoil in the lives of both yourself and those you care about.

Ryan looks rather unimpressed with Jake. He glared at him with fury in his eyes.

Ryan Samuels: What in the name of the high Jesus are you ramblin’ about, son? What reality? I done did threw you outta the ring and YOU decided to come back and get involved in business that didn’t concern you. You were done and outta that match and YOU cost me my chance at glory and beer money! I’m pissed!

Jake Mason just shakes his mutters to himself.

Jake Mason: Maybe this one should just fade into anonymity. Save the world from having to take care of another ignorant soul.

Mason then turns his attention back to Samuels.

Jake Mason: Let’s make this simple. You were supposed to get knocked out by me and then act like a monkey and ruin the party. Am I going to have to use a taser to teach you how it works. Follow the plan set before you by powers you will never understand.

Ryan legitimately confused by what Mason is saying. He also looks angry, very angry.

Ryan Samuels: WHAT ARE YOU TALKIN’ ABOUT? Son, you need some serious help. You’re talkin’ like my grandpa did when he had the ‘mentia. You ain’t makin’ a lick of sense. How about this. You. Me. In the ring. Simple enough.

Mason sighs.

Jake Mason: Understanding your purpose will...

Suddenly Samuels throws a big right hook but Mason catches the punch with ninja-like skills. Mason stands there with Ryan’s fist held in his hand, looking unamused by the attempted attack. Samuels, on the other hand, looks shocked. He quickly regains his composure and kicks Mason hard in the gut before beginning to club away at Jake with reckless abandonment.

Ryan Samuels: WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

Samuels drives Mason down to the floor with a nasty lariat to the back of the neck. Samuels seems unnerved by this whole exchange.

Ryan Samuels: You are some kind of freak! This ain’t over. We’re gonna settle this up damn soon!

Still unnerved, Ryan storms away as Mason slowly picks himself up and sighs. He dusts himself off.

Jake Mason: Soon you will understand your purpose, and the importance of your demise.

Jake Mason heads back to his locker room as the cameras cut back to a break.





Abby Joseph - Ladies and Gentlemen. I am joined at this time by the newest tag team here in UWL. Caroline Clarke and Dayna Grace...Euphoric!

Dayna Grace and Caroline Clarke step into the frame with smiles on their faces and a cordial greeting from Miss Joseph.

Abby Joseph - What brings you to the Universal Wrestling League?

Caroline Clarke - Thank you Abby for such a lovely introduction!

Dayna Grace - Absolutely. See Caroline and I are here for multiple reasons. Tag Team Wrestling has changed over the years. Way back in yesteryear you had top tandems who were brothers, family or life long friends. But in today’s world it’s rare to find two individuals who work as cohesively as us!

Caroline Clarke - We might not be family but we still have a lot in common. For instance we both trained in Vancouver. Oh and we’re both extremely attractive...

Abby smiles while the tandem of Clarke and Grace have a good laugh together.

Abby Joseph - You both had breakout years as a team over in Mainstream Wrestling. Do you believe that success will carry over into the new year but mort importantly here in the Universal Wrestling League?

Caroline Clarke - Absolutely. Growing up in England—I had the opportunity to learn the business from an early age. It was literally a family business for me as I learned from my father and my mum. But it wasn’t until I came of age and moved to the states that I learned the American way of professional wrestling.

Dayna Grace - Same for me. I am from Los Angeles but I trained in Mexico in the beginning and attended Squires Wrestling Academy in Vancouver. We are well travelled already at such an early stage of our careers. We’ve fought some of the best teams and learned from our mistakes. We’ve come to UWL to compete in an already competitive tag team scene.

Caroline Clarke - Two sets of tag team championships. That’s unheard of in this day and time. Tonight it all starts with the Herkmen!

Dayna Grace - Now, we’ve never been to the ‘Well of Despair’.

Caroline Clarke - And we may not know what an Azalo or a Nizbel is...

Dayna Grace - But we do know that Kalidah and his Immortal Atrocities are no laughing matter. I’m certain we’ll see our own fair share of smoke and mirrors with the Herkmen tonight but once they lay eyes on us they’ll understand just why they call us...Euphoric!

Grace smiles as Clarke flicks her hair and the two bombshells exits the frame.

Abby Joseph - Thank you Dayna Grace and Caroline Clarke! Later tonight you’ll see Euphoric in action against the Herkmen!

As the chip tune of Goodbye Summer, Hello Winter by FantomenK starts to play out Jessie Roberts come out onto the stage. She take a few moments to look at the fans and nod at them. She then bounced around on stage trying to get loose before she walks down the ramp towards the ring.

Emily Lyle - From Iowa City, Iowa, weighing one hundred and forty eight pounds, Jessie Roberts!

Slapping fans with fans if they are out. When she reaches the steps she stops, slaps the top step and getting in the ring. She will then get in the corner and throw some punches again to get loose before waiting in the corner for the match to begin.

Virtual Insanity comes on the speakers. Jake Mason walks out stopping on the stage. Mason looks at the crowd before tapping his cane on the stage. The lights go down and the words “The Dark Prophet” appears on the screen.

Emily Lyle - From New Rio de Janeiro, weighing two hundred and thirty pounds, Jake Mason!!

As the lights come back up Jake Mason is standing in the ring. Mason places his top hat on the corner post and sets his cane on the apron before taking off his shirt and prepares for the match to start.

Cliff Morris - It's time for our next match up. As, Jake Mason is set to take on Jessie Roberts. This should be a interesting match up.

Logan Acker - These two have different styles and different approaches.

The bell sounds. Jessie slowly circles around Mason. She runs at him and he nails her with a pair of forearm strikes. Mason sends Jessie into the ropes. He goes for a clothesline, Jessie ducks under. Mason turns, Jessie nails him with a dropkick sending him down to the mat. She runs back off the ropes back at Mason as he returns to his feet. Jessie nails him with a kick to his stomach doubling him over. Jessie grabs him for a DDT. Mason shoves her off. Mason takes her down with a clothesline. He turns stomping away on Jessie with repeated kicks.

Cliff Morris - Jake Mason stomping Jessie Roberts and walking her dry with repeated stomps!

Mason jerks Jessie up to her feet sending her into the corner. Jessie lays back against he turnbuckles. Mason runs in at her. Jessie dodges out of the way. Mason slams chest first into the turnbuckles. Jessie pulls him back dropping him down with a reverse DDT. Jessie goes out to the ring apron, moving up to the top ropes. Jessie leaps off landing down onto Mason with a double stomp. She covers him, the referee counts.

Jessie rises up to her feet. Mason rises up slowly off the mat.

Cliff Morris - Jake Mason is shaken up and Jessie Roberts needs to jump on the attack and not let up!

Logan Acker - Jessie Roberts has Jake Mason wounded and needs to attack

Jessie runs back off the ropes running at the dazed, Mason. He nails her with a back elbow stunning her. Mason runs at Jessie planting her down with a reverse STO. Mason pushes her over covering her, the referee counts.

Mason rises up slowly off the mat. He looks down at the fallen Jessie as he lays on the mat shaken up. Mason stands taking everything in.

UWL Saturday night returns from commercial.

We are backstage in the interview area, where Abby Joseph stands.

Abby: Ladies and gentlemen two weeks ago you witnessed an interview I conducted with John Thompson in his home. During that interview John expressed an interest in challenging Ryland Moore to a street fight.

I have gotten word the fight has been signed for March 20th at The only the Strong survive event. My guess right now is none other than John 'Johnny T' Thompson.

John Thompson steps into the shot wearing his customary e-fed podcast hoodie, and a pair of black jeans. He looks down at Abby as she raises the microphone back to her mouth.

Abby: This is a match you've been asking for. Why do you feel strongly about it being a street fight?

John: He made it personal. I was here in the spirit of competition, I didn't want nobody to get hurt, but he did his best to end my career. That's a no no. Right there he pissed me off. We could have had a singles match, but what fun would that be to me. Now that it's a street fight I can beat him up with anything I want. He will regret the decision he made at Starzzone.

Abby: You did suffer injuries, how are you feeling and will you be 100% going into March?

John: I'm doing fine. I have around a month left before I can be cleared for action, but don't think I'm letting that big son of a bitch think he can forget about me.

On Sunday night March 20th at only the Strong survive, Ryland Moore, I am going to kick your ass.

Abby: You heard it here folks the match is official John Thompson versus Ryland Moore in a street fight and only one will survive.

With that we transition into another commercial.

In the garden at Hotel California, Lotte dances into view and twirls around. She waves at the camera and continues to dance along until she comes to the “Well of Despair”. Peeking her head in, she calls out to her “pretty boys.”

“Azalo? Nizbel?”

“Azalo!”

“Nizbel!”

The Herkmen climb out of the well, holding the United States Tag Team Titles in their mouths. They crawl over to Lotte and kneel on both sides of her. She pats them both on the head and addresses the camera.

“Hello, my lovelies. Isn’t it a beautiful night for a fight?”

“Night!”

“Fight!”

Lotte pats the Herkmen on their heads and continues talking.

“And who better to battle on such a lovely night like this than a pair of ‘euphoric’ women, Caroline Clark and Dayna Grace.”

“Clark!”

“Grace!”

Lotte shushes Azalo and Nizbel before continuing.

“Euphoric, we know who you are. You have made your presence felt in Kalidah’s hunting grounds and you have done quite well for yourself, not calling our attention to yourselves up to now.”

She cocks her head to the side and lets out a sad moan.

“It’s too bad then that you have accepted our open challenge because you now have our complete and undivided attention. Such a pity. SUCH a pity!”

She looks down at the Herkmen and lifts their chins up so they look at her.

“You know what you must do, my pretty boys. Euphoric cannot be allowed to oppose us. They want to defeat you so they might get a chance to take the talismans from use. They want to take your shinnies away!”

The Herkmen begin to hop around and hiss. They hug the United States tag Team Titles to their chests and start growling.

“Shinnies!”

“Ours!”

“I want you to hurt them, my pretty boys,” Lotte tells them, “I want you to maim them!”

“Hurt!”

“Maim!”

“You need to put fear into their hearts,” she sings, “Make them fear you. Make them fear me. Make them fear the red mist.”

The red mist starts bellowing around them. Lotte begins to laugh, eerily, as it rises up to envelope them. The Herkmen begin hooting and hollering as the disappear into it.

The last thing we hear is the Herkmen saying in unison as the red mist swallows them all whole, “Fear us!”

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!




“Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion begins to play throughout the arena as the curtain opens it’s Caroline Clarke and Dayna Grace whom step out onto the stage slowly with the curtain closing behind them. Both ladies smile and wave at the fans along the aisle while making their way down to the ring.

Emily Lyle - Now making their way to the ring at a combined weight of two hundred and fifty six pounds! Caroline Clarke and Dayna Grace...Euphoric!

Grace walks slowly up the ring stairs and along the apron turning to look out at the fans. Meanwhile Caroline Clarke already inside the ring walks behind Grace and the duo strikes a pose before Grace steps into the ring and they await their opponents.

The lights in the arena go out as “Attack of the Heretics” begins to play and a red fog covers the stage. Lotte comes dancing out and she looks around. She looks back and forth, calling “Azalo? Nizbel?” The two green-faced creatures rise out of the mist and crawl to Lotte’s side.

Emily Lyle - At a total combined weight of three hundred and ninety two pounds, They are the United States Tag Team Champions, Azalo and Nizbel, The Herkmen!!

She pats them on the head and points at the ring. The duo immediately rush the ring, sliding in under the ropes, while Lotte slowly skips to the ring. They chase the ring announcer and the referee from the ring. The mayhem only ends when Lotte reaches the ring and beckons them to her in their corner and they wait for the match to begin.

Cliff Morris - Here we are for a non-title match up. As, United States Tag Team Champions The Herkmen take on Euphoric. This is a huge chance for Euphoric to possibly get a future shot at the United States Tag Team Championship.

Logan Acker - This is the chance that wrestlers dream of. That's all most talents want is a chance to prove they deserve a shot at any championship.

As, the referee signals for the bell. Azalo runs at Grace and shoves her into the corner. He pulls her out of the corner as Grace rolls out to the ring apron. Nizbel runs at Clarke in the corner, he kicks her with a hard kick. He jerks her up off the mat. Nizbel sends her to the ropes. Clarke comes off the ropes, Nizbel runs at her nailing her with a running kick. Clarke lays on the mat as Grace screams encouragement. Nizbel turns, he looks at Grace and swings at her missing her. Grace starts to come in, the referee cuts her off. Nizbel and Azalo attack Clarke with clubbing shots.

Cliff Morris - The Herkmen are taking it to Euphoric in the early going of this match up.

Logan Acker - It's for a adjustment to the gameplan for Euphoric

Azalo pulls Clarke up off the mat. He smacks her, she stumbles. Azalo sends her to the ropes. Clarke comes off the ropes. Azalo runs at her for a clothesline, she ducks under. Azalo turns, Clarke nails him with a enzguri. Clarke rises up, she tags in Grace. She runs in nailing Azalo with a pair of kicks. Grace sends him to the ropes. Azalo comes off the ropes, Grace nails him with a running clothesline. She turns, she tags in Clarke again with a quick tag. Clarke pulls herself up on the top rope, she leaps off landing down on Azalo with a springboard frog splash. Clarke covers him, the referee counts.

Nizbel breaks up the count.

Clarke tags in Grace. She comes in the ring, she kicks Azalo in his chest with a pair of kicks. Grace goes out to the ring apron, she moves up to the top rope. Azalo rises up off the mat, Grace leaps off for a missile dropkick, but Azalo dodges out of the way, Grace crashes down into the mat. Azalo rises up off the mat, he tags in Nizbel. He runs in jerks Grace up off the mat. Nizbel grabs her throwing her with a suplex. Nizbel turns, he jerks Grace back up off the mat. He grabs her lifts her up and plants her down with snapmare. Nizbel turns, he covers her, the referee counts.

Grace rolls out of the ring making Clarke legal. She punches Nizbel with a pair of punches. She runs off the ropes, she comes back at Nizbel nailing him with a spinning back kick. Clarke turns, she turns back toward him nailing him with a back kick. She grabs Nizbel planting him down with a drop down facebuster. Clarke covers him, the referee counts.

Azalo breaks up the count.

Clarke rolls toward the ropes, she pulls Nizbel with her. Azalo stands not knowing that Grace is making her way up the ropes to the top rope. She stands on the top rope, Azalo turns, she leaps off taking him down with a crossbody. Grace rises up off the mat. Azalo stumbles up, Grace spins nailing him with a leg lariat. Azalo falls straight back on the mat. Grace covers him, the referee counts.

Nizbel kicks Grace in the head. He jerks her up and throws her out to the ring apron. Azalo grabs Clarke nails her with wild punches. The referee tries to get in and he gets shoved aside. The referee calls for the bell. Grace rises up onto the ring apron. She moves up to the top rope and takes both Herkmen down with a springboard crossbody. Grace rises he starts nailing Nizbel with punches. She tursn as Clarke joins in nailing Azalo with repeated punches. The referee gets in between them as the Herkmen get out of the ring.

Emily Lyle - This winners of this match as a result of a disqualification Euphoric!

Cliff Morris - You can not put your hands on a referee plain and simple.

Clarke and Grace stand in the ring wanting them to get back into the ring as the Herkmen stand on the floor with the United States Tag Team Championship belts over their shoulders.

The show cuts to a break.

Cliff Morris: In addition to the great action we’ve already seen tonight, we’ve got a tremendous match between Jackson Burnside and UWL North American Champion Emma Douglas coming later tonight.

Logan Acker: We’re about to backstage to a man who will likely be watching that bout very closely – Arch Stanton!

Arch Stanton is backstage in front of the UWL banner. The crowd offers a generally negative reaction. He is ring ready and wearing a tattered Rat Fink T-Shirt. Rather than using a mic, he shouts and slaps a small towel against his hand.

Stanton:
“When you’ve been on the road as long as I have, things can kind of bleed together. Cities start to look the same. People start to seem the same. I drive to my engagements if I can help it, an’ I get a lotta Highway Time. 14 hours behind the wheel, when I pulled into that motel… I stepped outta my ’40 Ford an’ I sniffed the air – an’ then I KNEW I was in Orlando. I went inside an’ checked in – the toothless, drawlin’ idiot behind the counter… I KNEW I was in Florida, fella…

As painful as it is to be here with you people, it is only a matter of minutes until I stand across the ring from a former UWL Champion. Everybody knows – even these Florida maggots know it – that ol’ Arch Stanton is here to THROW DOWN, daddy! I’ve ALWAYS been here to fight. James Edwards is a man I can respect, an’ I expect I won’t be let down. I look forward to a difficult fight, an’ of course I plan to put him away.”

Arch waves the subject away, but not without reverence. He slings the towel around his neck.

Stanton:
“Now…

He changes gear a bit. His eyes develop a gleam and a sick grin spreads across his face.

Stanton:
“The holly-daze are over, brutha – we’re in the THICK of it now. We’re back to business, see – an’ The Rumble was just the beginning. Only Knight took home the big DUBYA – but everyone else did their share of fightin’.

Burnside can say what he likes (and he will) – I made sure than sunuvab*tch went home a loser. Someone else got caught in the crossfire. A bystander of CHAMPIONSHIP SIGNIFICANCE. There’s plenty of small fish that coulda been swept away with us – but The United States Champion is a big fish in the net…”

Arch rubs the stubble on his chin with one hand and gestures to the camera with the other.

Stanton:
“…Emma had plenty to say about it. I heard she was shootin’ off that mouth of hers – sayin’ she don’t like that ‘we’ cost her The Rumble? Emma – that’s just what happens in the line of duty. That’s the kind of thing that happens in a Rumble. Accidents happen, kids – you better hope you two don’t have one TONIGHT…”

Arch winks at the camera, a twisted smile spread across his face. The camera cuts back to ringside.

Cliff Morris: Stanton, indeed, has a big match of his own coming up against James Edwards!

Logan Acker: I wonder what kind of accident he's talking about!

Jackson Burnside is front and center backstage. Behind him is a large poster for Only the Strong Survive, still weeks away. Jackson is sporting some newer ring gear; the trunks are a bit longer, but a bright vibrant combination of blue and magenta, with a "retro-future" stylized JB. The boots and kneepads match the tights, but also incorporate dark yellow. He's got a new piece of merchandise on as well. The shirt features a stylized futuristic looking city on a dark blue black drop. Within a cloudy sky are streak of lightning bolts and a smoky visage of Jackson's face in the clouds themselves. The font is yellow, with large words spelling out "Burnside." Underneath that in slightly smaller font is the word "Superbeast."

Jackson Burnside: "Here in Orlando, we are standing on the precipice of disaster."

He is speaking solemnly and seriously. Jackson pauses to try and really let the severity of his introduction land with the viewers. However as he resumes, the cadence and inflection ramp up.

Jackson Burnside: "And this isn't a autumn hurricane! Not a COVID outbreak or a winter freeze threatening those tangerine groves! This disaster is a colossal confrontation and culmination of a war that got started months ago! Jackson Burnside on one side - Arch Stanton on the other. Two forces of nature, destined to meet in battle again, and rip the Earth beneath them asunder in a torrent of fury and violence!"

Now he brings it back down, and holds both hands up as if they represent himself and Arch. He brings them together, bringing emphasis on the space between them.

Jackson Burnside: "But caught in the middle of that brothers, is the United States Champion. Two weeks ago in the Universal Rumble we caught up some collateral damage. In that Rumble the Superbeast from Chicago East was on a rampage. Men and women, over the top rope with impunity. Elena Taylor - OVER THE TOP ROPE! Ryland Moore - OVER THE ROPE! Jeremy Riggs, Aiden Pierce, Alexander Moore - OVER THE TOP ROPE! These three hundred pounds of fury and intensity was an unstoppable freight train on a way way track to the UWL World Championship, but then-!"

Jackson snaps for emphasis.

Jackson Burnside: "Arch Stanton... Kalidah, they derailed the Burnside Express. Locked in our own battle, Kalidah caught us by surprise and threw us over the top rope... and Emma Douglas came with us. Collateral damage, I understand why she'd be a little bit upset. But can you imagine my surprise when I found out that Ms. United States went into offices and asked for, demanded a one-on-one with the Superbeast. Well, my momma didn't raise 'Lil Jackie to be an idiot. She always said, 'Jackie, you get an opportunity and you take it!' So now, I find myself with a one on one match with the US Champion..."

Jackson smiles huge. It's almost scary to see the big man grinning so large. It makes him appear unhinged.

Jackson Burnside: "I think Little Ms. US-of-A made a mistake. Maybe she doesn't realize what I mean, maybe some of you brothers out there don't either. This guy here, big 'ol Jackson Burnside, has a penchant for beating Champions in non-title matches. Lauren Parker? Robb Daniels?"

He uses his index finger to beckon the camera in closer to tell us a secret. And he does indeed whisper the next sentence.

Jackson Burnside: "Because we all know I won that match."

The camera zooms back out and Jackson stops whispering.

Jackson Burnside: "What I'm saying... well maybe I do need to finish a job I wanted to do over the summer? Destroy the Uprising? I mean it's gone. Deader than the Patriots' football dynasty. And, Emma and I were cool... until the Rumble. I guess though, it's time to go three-for-three, ain't it? I didn't want to pull Emma into my business, and obviously what happened in the Rumble was an accident. She ought've been paying attention. Now she's gone and put herself in the middle of me and Stanton. That's her decision, she's a big girl. All I want to say is be ready. Because even if you can handle this storm... well I think that we're gonna have some unexpected company tonight. That doesn't bother me.

Arch, Emma, anyone else I'm forgetting? You want to step up to the Superbeast? Before you do pray to your God or whatever corporation you treat as a monolith. Call your families and make sure your affairs are in order. Brothers, batten down the hatches because Jackson Burnside is blowing into town."

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!

The lights in the arena flicker and strobe madly as "Superbeast" plays throughout the arena. The lights focus down on the entrance as Jackson Burnside steps out from the back looking manic, shaking his arms wildly up as his chest with a crazed look in his eyes.

Emily Lyle - "Hailing from the Windy City and standing six-five and weighing in tonight at two-hundred and ninty-six pounds, Jackson Buuuuurnsiiiiiide!"

Jackson bounces back and forth a few times on his heels and then without any fanfair the lights turn on and he sprints straight down to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and covers an impressive distance, popping up at the center of the canvas with his hands raised high in the air. He approaches the ropes and grasps the top in both hands. He violently shakes the ropes and stops his feet repeatedly. The ropes continue to shake violent even after he releases them, and Jackson Burnside continues to hype himself up as he waits.

The lights go down as "Judas" by Septogram plays over the PA system. The lyrics "You are beautiful on the inside, you are innocence personified." are the first words heard and at that time, a strobe light effect with a red hue highlights the walkway.

Burnside stands looking around for Emma Douglas. Burnside leans against the ropes, still no Douglas. Burnside steps out of the ring onto the floor looking around, and still no Douglas. Burnside stands on the floor looking around, as through the crowd runs Emma Douglas. She nails Burnside with a sharp right hand, which staggers him.

Cliff Morris - Emma Douglas with the sneak attack on Jackson Burnside and has gotten the advantage!

Logan Acker - Emma Douglas out smarted us all!

Douglas moves over the guardrail nailing Burnside with repeated punches. She pulls Burnside around slamming his face off the ring apron. Douglas walks around grabbing a chair. She turns to hit Burnside, but he nails her in the stomach, as she had the chair raised. Burnside grabs Douglas around her wrist sending her into the guardrail, Douglas’ back slams off the guardrail, she staggers toward Burnside, as he nails Douglas with a pair of hard right handed punches. Burnside leans over lifting Douglas up throwing her down hard off the floor with a hard bodyslam onto the floor. Burnside pulls Douglas up off the floor, he grabs her around her waist slamming her back against the ring apron.

Cliff Morris - This is just a fight!

Burnside grabs Douglas around her wrist, he goes to send her into the ring post, but Douglas blocks it. Douglas kicks Burnside with a hard kick which doubles him over. Douglas picks up the chair off the floor, she pulls the chair back smashing the chair into the face of Burnside, as he falls onto the floor. Douglas grabs the chair turning it around driving the top of the chair choking Burnside with it.

Cliff Morris - This match can be consider over. The referee just can't do anything with these two to put a stop to it!

Logan Acker - Would you want to get in between these two?

Douglas pulls the chair up slamming the chair down onto Burnside's chest. She pulls the chair back up again slamming it down onto his chest. Douglas lays the chair aside, as she grabs a camera cable wrapping it around the throat of Burnside. He fights to get free, as Douglas has the cable around his throat. Douglas throws the cable aside. Douglas rising to her feet, as Burnside lays on the ground grabbing at his throat. Douglas turns, moving around the ring as Burnside rises up to his feet. Douglas turns, as Burnside levels her with a kick to the face, which sends her falling over the ring steps. Burnside pulls the ring steps apart, he lifts the step up driving it down onto the chest of Douglas. Burnside lays the steps on the ground, he pulls Douglas up off the floor. Burnside leans Douglas over, he lifts her up throwing her down hard onto the steps with a powerbomb.

Cliff Morris - Burnside throwing Douglas with a powerbomb onto the ring steps!

Logan Acker - The referee should call in the cavalry to stop this!

Burnside leans over tumbling Douglas with repeated punches, as she lays agonizing in pain on the ring steps. Burnsides starts choking Douglas, as he leans over her. Douglas tries to fight to get free, but she just can't. Burnside lets loose of Douglas. He turns moving around the ring, slowly trying to get into the ring, but Douglas grabs his leg holding him. Burnside kicks with his free leg at Douglas, but Douglas dodges the kicks. Douglas pulls Burnside, she falls off the ring apron slamming his face off the ring apron. Burnside leans over riving in pain, as Douglas hits him in his side. She grabs Burnside around the back of his head by his hair, she pulls his face up slamming it off the ring apron. Burnside turns looking dazed, as Douglas cracks him in the face with a chair, Burnside staggers around, as he leans against the ring post.

Cliff Morris - These two powerhouses are tearing one another apart and no one can stop it!

Burnside turns, as blood is dripping down his chest. Douglas jumps at him hitting him repeatedly in his face, Burnside pushes her back away from him. Douglas comes back, but gets nailed with a big right hand, which sends Douglas staggering back. Burnside scoops Douglas up lifting up and throwing her down onto the top of the guardrail with a bodyslam. Douglas falls into the front row arching her back riving in pain. Burnside lifts Douglas up leaning her face against the guardrail. He repeatedly slams Douglas' face into the guardrail. Douglas leans over the guardrail, as Burnside picks up a chair smashing it into the face of Douglas, she falls back onto the floor.

Cliff Morris - We need a official or someone to stop this!

Douglas falls back onto the floor laying face down. Burnside steps over the guardrail into the crown. He lifts Douglas up off the floor, as blood drips down off his face onto his chest.

Cliff Morris - Burnside is busted open!

Logan Acker - No wonder the way these two have been brutalizing one another!

Cliff Morris - The referee has stopped this a long time ago but neither one of these two have paid much attention.

Emily Lyle - This match has been ruled a no contest!!

Emma and Burnside stand back away from one another as Arch Stanton runs down the aisle.

Cliff Morris - Arch Stanton has made his way out here oh man business is about to pick up!

UWL returns and Arch Stanton is in the ring pacing back and forth while his music plays throughout the building. The big man looks pissed off, but what else is new? The camera pans to the ringside announcers.

Cliff Morris: "Welcome back and if you're just joining us, prior to the break we were seeing a terrific non-title match between Jackson Burnside and the United States Champion, Emma Douglas. When that man-" The camera cuts back to the ring to Arch, who is leaning forward on the ropes staring down the aisle. "-came to the ring and forced the ref to throw the match."

Logan Acker: "And then Cliff we were seeing a terrific brawl between those two huge guys and the U.S. Champion until the staff here restored order. You have to think, no matter how you look at it or who you blame, Emma Douglas has found herself pulled into the middle of this massive storm surge between Burnside and Stanton."

Cliff Morris: "No doubt about that Logan. And you- WAIT! Hold on!" Cliff holds onto his headset for a moment and stares directly into the camera looking surprised. "We have to hold these thoughts Logan! I'm getting word that there's a confrontation backstage between Jackson and Emma, do we have a camera?"

On cue the cameras cut backstage. Jackson and Emma have each other by the back of the head or the air and are trading blows. We aren't sure how they got tangled up again, but they're going at it. Personel are surrounding them trying to break the two apart, including UWL official Ned Irvin and former wrestler and UWL go-between Bryan Crews. The larger and stronger Burnside gets the upperhand, pushing Emma backward toward a wall. He ducks his head down under an attempted jab at the eyes and drives his head and shoulder into Emma's abdomen, pushing her back faster. She hits the wall hard, but recovers and drives both her elbows down right into Burnside's upper back. He doesn't relinquish the hold, so she does it again. This time the big man staggers and drops to a knee.

The staff see the chance and use the break apart to intervene. Crews leads a charge, pulling Emma off of the wall and away from Jackson, while a number of security grab Jackson by the arms and the back. They pull him to his feet and hold him back at the directon of Ned Irvin, who is shouting that it's over. Crews says something inaudible to Douglas, causing her to elbow one of her would-be restrainers in the head. This allows her to break free and she beelines for her restrained advisory. Without time for anyone else to react, Emma walks right up to Jackson and headbutts him square between the eyes. He goes down along with two of the men holding him, and in a flash Crews is running at Emma. He grabs her by the waist and pulls her away.

Bryan Crews: "Grab her and somebody get him outta here!"

Burnside is incensed, bleeding from the nose but he can't get to Emma. Everyone rushes to pull Jackson and they start pulling him as far away from Emma as possible. At the same time others take over from Bryan in restraining Emma.

Jackson Burnside: "Crews let me get that- C'mon I'm owed after that cheapshot!"

Emma Douglas: "I'm not afraid of you, any time Jackson!"

Jackson Burnside: "You hear her, lemme go!"

Emma laughs as she's escorted away. Crews is up in Burnside's face calming him down, and the people restraining him start to let go when the US Champion is a safe distance away. The cameras cannot pick up what is being said between Crews and Burnside. So we cut back to the ring, and back to Arch Stanton. He's laughing, happy that he's caused so much chaos between the Champion and his nemesis Burnside.

Arch paces back and forth in the ring.

The house lights go dark and flickering strobe lights accompany the opening keyboard solo of the classic rock anthem. As the guitars kick in, Edwards appears at the top of the stage bathed in the spotlight. He stands resolute for a moment before briskly walking toward the ring. He takes a lap around the squared circle before sliding under the bottom rope and settling into his corner.

Emily Lyle - From Lexington, Kentucky, weighing two hundred and eight pounds, James Edwards!

An angry James Edwards stands in the ring pacing back and forth before his match with Arch Stanton. He wears his ring gear and had a microphone in hand.

James Edwards: Billy, get out here.

A few moments go by, and no sign of Danielson. The crowd boos.

James Edwards: I said, get out here, Billy.

"The Burning Heart" stops and leans forward on the top ring rope. He waits for a bit, and still, there is no sign of Billy Danielson. The booing gets louder.

James Edwards: That's it, if you ain't coming, then I'm coming back there to get your silly ass!

The enraged former world champion spikes the microphone and goes to slide out of the ring as the crowd goes nuts. “Born for Greatness” by Papa Roach plays before Edwards can even cross through the ropes. Billy Danielson walks out dressed in a nice suit still, even though he has a match soon. He looks at James with a smirk as he holds his hand up.

Billy Danielson: Wow, wow, wow, wow. No need to be so dramatic, Jimbo. I’m right here, don’t get your burning panties in a twist.

James continues to get out of the ring, but Billy shouts at him.

Billy Danielson: Yea, James, if we’re going to talk, you’re gonna have to stay down there. Social distancing and all that jazz.

Edwards looks frustrated but abides by Billy’s demands. Billy continues on.

Billy Danielson: So what are you so hot and bothered about, James. I thought we finished everything at Starrzone?

Edwards retrieves his microphone from the ring canvas and stares down at Danielson.

James Edwards: Finished? You call that bullshit fight at Starrzone an end. That was just the beginning. Do you remember last week?

Billy feigns ignorance and shrugs. Edwards looks at him stone-faced.

The assigned official for Edwards vs. Stanton tugs on the fiery Kentuckian’s arm and informs him to get to his corner. Edwards complies, but his eyes never leave his former friend, the hatred in them quite evident for all to see.

Logan Acker - These two standard barriers of UWL prepare to square off in a match that could main event any arena around the Championship Promotions loop.

The bell sounds both competitors move toward one another, they slowly move into a collar and elbow tie up. Arch shoots around on Edwards taking him into a rear waistlock. Edwards reverses it taking Arch into a rear waistlock. Arch breaks Edwards’ grip taking him over with a arm drag. They both return to their feet, as they do Arch takes Edwards back over with another arm drag. Edwards returns to his feet, as he does Arch takes Edwards into a side headlock. Arch smiles from ear to ear, as he wrenches his arms around Edwards’ head. Arch looks at the referee, he points toward the crowd, as he lays in a punch to the face of Edwards as he has him locked into the headlock. Edwards pulls Arch’s arms up into a overhand wristlock. Arch tries to kick for the advantage, but he can’t. Edwards lays in a kick to the delight of the crowd. Edwards sends Arch into the ropes, he runs at him jumping into the air taking Arch down with a Lou Thez press.

Edwards lays in with punches, as he lays over Arch, but Arch pushes him off, as he rolls away from him. Edwards rises to his feet, as Arch is shaking his head trying to shake it off, as he leans against the ropes. Edwards goes to grab Arch, but he kicks him with a kick to the stomach, which doubles Edwards over. Arch grabs Edwards raking his eyes, as Edwards stands stunned, he grabs him raking his face across the top rope. Edwards stumbles back, as Arch rakes him down his back, as Edwards grimaces in pain. Arch grabs Edwards into a rear waistlock, throwing him with a hard suplex. Arch turns covering him, as the referee counts.

Arch rises to his feet, he pulls Edwards up with him, he pulls him around to send him into the ropes, but Edwards reverses it pulling Arch around nailing him with a back elbow. Edwards moves up behind the dazed Arch grabbing him into a full nelson. Arch moves around trying to fight out of the hold, but Edwards has his hands locked tight. He lifts Arch up sending him down with a double arm DDT. Arch lays on the mat riving in pain, as Edwards lays in a pair of stomps on Arch. Edwards pulls Arch up to his feet, as he does Arch comes up slapping Edwards across his face, which only angers Edwards. He comes at Arch nailing him with repeated forearm strikes. Edwards goes to send, Arch into the ropes but he blocks it. Edwards kicks Arch in his stomach taking him over quickly with a inside cradle, the referee counts.
