Only the Strong Survive 3-20-21
Casey rises up. AJ rises up slowly. Casey goes for a enzguri, AJ ducks under the enzguri attempt. Casey turns, AJ kicks her in the stomach doubling her over. He grabs her lifting her up and planting her down with a slingshot suplex. AJ turns and locks on the Templar Stretch (Border City Stretch). AJ locks it on, the referee is down checking on Casey.
Cliff Morris - AJ Knight has the Templar stretch locked on!!
AJ pulls on the hold, Casey tries to get free but can't. AJ pulls adding more pressure on the hold. Casey isn't moving. The referee checks on Casey. AJ pulls on the hold. The referee checks on Casey. She's out, the referee calls for the bell.
Cliff Morris - Casey Holliday has passed out!!!
Logan Acker - You know what means!!!
AJ sits on the mat as the referee leans between the ropes.
Emily Lyle - The winner of this match and NEW!!! UWL World Champion AJ Knight!!!
The crowd erupts in shock as AJ dethrones Casey Holliday. AJ however doesn’t seem surprised, holding out his hand waiting for the belt. As the referee hands it to him AJ jumps to his feet holding it overhead displaying it for the crowd who are still buzzing at the upset. AJ demands a microphone.
Cliff Morris - The new UWL World Champion wanting to speak.
Logan Acker - Let's all show the new UWL World Champion some respect and listen to what he has to say.
Before AJ can say anything a wall of noise coming from the direction of the entrance ramp draws the new World Champion’s eyes to James Edwards marching down to the ring. The crowd buzzes, some of those in attendance recalling the two’s past in other promotions. The two eye each other wearily but then Edwards flashes AJ a grin as he climbs the ring steps. “The Burning Heart” steps between the ropes and approaches Knight with his hand extended. AJ glances down at it and laughs. AJ suddenly swings at the #1 Contender with the belt, but Edwards ducks and sends him out of the ring with a clothesline! AJ backs up the ramp holding the belt over his head, as James Edwards gestures around his waist. AJ mouths at him “It’s on James!"

Emily Lyle - The opening contest here at UWL Saturday Night is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!
The acapella voices are heard over the pa system for the first five seconds of the song. When the music starts Justice Cross and Brianna Alvarez walk out from the back onto the ramp and continue down to the ring. Once they are at the ring they get up on the apron and Brianna stops smirking before stepping into the ring and goes around to each side of the ring pointing her finger in the air.
Emily Lyle - From St. Louis, Missouri, weighing one hundred and thirty five pounds, Justice Cross!
When she turns back around Justice turns her back to the ropes and grabs on to the top one flipping herself over landing one foot at a time. Justice then goes from one side to another now posing for the fans before the two meet back up in the middle of the ring.
The bell sounds. They move from their corners slowly moving into a collar and elbow tie up. Cross nails Sinn with a pair of knees to the stomach which stun her. Sinn nails her with a hard forearm strike, which stuns Cross. She comes back with a forearm strike of her own, which stuns Sinn. She nails her with a pair of hard forearm strikes. Sinn runs into the guardrail his back slams off the guardrail, she falls forward onto the floor. Cross walks over nailing Sinn with hard forearm strikes, she falls over the guardrail into the first row.
Cliff Morris - Justice Cross sending Rosie Sinn sailing into the front row!
Logan Acker - How come the referee isn’t counting these two? How is this fair?
Cross comes at her, throwing her leg up nailing her with hard kicks to the side of his arm and to his ribs. Sinn stumbles back, Cross steps back. She takes a step, Sinn runs, jumping over the guardrail, nailing her with a flying clothesline. They're both on the floor. Sinn rolls back into the ring, the referee goes to start his count, Cross rises up off the floor returning to the ring apron. Sinn goes after her, she leans over nailing her in his stomach with a shoulder, she stumbles back. Cross pulls herself up and runs at Sinn nailing her with a roundhouse kick which stuns her. She steps back, runs at Sinn sending her down with a shining wizard.

Sinn moves out to the ring apron, grabs her around her head planting her into the ring apron with a DDT, she falls onto the floor. Sinn stumbles off the ring apron leaning against the guardrail.

As the opening guitar chords of “Death March” by Motionless in White echo through the arena, the lights drop, confusing the crowd with the unknown music. As the song kicks in, red lowlights pulse along the stage as the letter “A” flashes on the Tron. The lights change to blue as the letter “P” flashes. The lights change again, replaced by green as the letter “E” flashes. As the letter “X” flashes, the lights change to gold. The word APEX comes together across the Tron as the lights switch to a combination of all of the previous colors, highlighting the mass of bodies lining the stage.
Along the stage, the lights accent each person. From left to right you see Lilith Rising, with Sadie Graves standing slightly behind her, Jake Mason, and Aiden Prince with Desmond Black standing to his right. Each member is dressed in black, albeit the styles vary from leather to designer suits, befitting their personal style.
As the song continues, the entire group moves methodically down the ramp in unison. When they reach the ring, each superstar slides in with Sadie and David climbing through the ropes.
David Davies steps out in front as the arena crowd begins to voraciously boo the collective. He lets a smirk cross his lips as he raises a microphone.
David Davies: Two weeks ago, at Only the Strong Survive, history happened right before your eyes.
The crowd boos.
David Davies: I won’t stand here and tell you a bunch of bullshit about how I put this group together because they were underutilized, or overlooked. I won’t bore you by saying that this group is together for some honorable or nefarious cause. You always hear that shit, and it’s just that, shit. What any group is, is strength in numbers and gang warfare, and this is no different. The quickest way to the top, is to just reach out and take it by force!
David motions to the four people behind him.
David Davies: This collection wasn’t just picked because they said “yes”. Each person was chosen for what they can do. Look what I’ve given you. First you have Jake Mason; the most cerebral man UWL has ever seen. Then there’s Lilith Rising; a dominant force with the brutality to match and a vision to win at all costs. That brings me to Aiden Prince, the most athletically gifted athlete I’ve had the honor to work with. And protecting this group's interests is 280 pounds of pure muscle and strength; Desmond Black. This is Apex!
Lilith takes a mic and raises it to her maroon lips.
Lilith Rising: Apex - rather fitting, don’t you think? After what we delivered at Only the Strong Survive is proof positive of that. I mean, I destroyed Rosie Sinn in record time. Poor thing never knew what hit her.
She gives Aiden a sidelong look, a smirk curving her lips.
Lilith Rising: I did try to tell you to just end it quickly, didn’t I? See how well brutality works?
Aiden Prince: True, but I got more airtime.
Lilith Rising: And I looked like a beast in that ring. I’ll take that over vanity any day.
Aiden slaps the plate of his TV Title hanging over his shoulder.
Aiden Prince: I thought I looked pretty golden.
Lilith laughs and nods her head.
Lilith Rising: We all did, didn’t we? Not a single loss between us all night. You’re welcome, by the way.
Jake Mason pulls the microphone out of Lilith’s hand.
Jake Mason: Children, is this how friends act? Of course it is in this day and age, but allow us to get back on track.
Jake Mason reposition his top hat slightly covering his eyes.
Jake Mason: Apex..Those who are better than you and you know it. Those who you are unable to understand because you’re just not capable of that level of brilliance. Those who achieve a level of mystic that you never see coming, and I can promise your primitive minds didn’t see this coming. From the losing to Kalidah and John Thompson to self doubt. Every moment a strategic plan for this day. A day that you will all dwell and wonder why you were blessed to be a part of this moment. Now my underlings, let me explain to you what you are experiencing. This encounter may not look like perfection at the moment, but our prominence comes to fruition in a future that only becomes complete with our union.
Jake Mason tips his hat to Lilith and Aiden.
Jake Mason: As Lilith said we were all successful at Only The Strong Survive. I proved that the bull would run into a wall. I proved that pure strength isn’t enough to be triumphant. Skill makes perfection. Talent makes for a better man. Intellect makes you a survivalist. Being Apex makes you someone that the scholars will educate the masses by.
Aiden steps forward, ready to take his turn.
Aiden Prince: Emily, announce what I wrote for you.
Emily Lyle: Ladies and Gentlemen. I present to you your Messiah. The Legacy. The Work of Art. Your Featured Attraction. The man who out fought and outsmarted Kalidah. The man who cancelled Hotel California. Your new, current, and greatest UWL Television Champion: Aiden Prince!!
Aiden smiles.
Aiden Prince: Emily, one more time with that last line.
Emily Lyle: Your new, current, and greatest UWL Television Champion: Aiden Prince!!
Aiden nods his head while the fans boo.
Aiden Prince: That’s right, I came, I saw, I conquered, and with what surrounds me, I made history. I told you all last week that things were about to change. You were all told that Kalidah and the TV title were just a stepping stone to something much, much bigger.
Aiden waves his arm at the people surrounding him in the ring.
Aiden Prince: This is that something much, much bigger.
Desmond clears his throat. Aiden turns to him.
Aiden Prince: Something to say big man?
Desmond Black: Just that I’m bigger in more than one way.
Aiden laughs and continues.
Aiden Prince: Whatever you say.
Desmond Black: Hey, I’m not the one over compensating for something with a glossary of nicknames.
Aiden Prince: You better stop it before I pull a Holliday..
Desmond Black: Take your ball and go home?
Aiden Prince: Exactly. Anyway, UWL, this is a notice to everyone, no one is safe. We’re here to take what we want, when we want, how we want. And this belt here..
He taps the one on his shoulder.
Aiden Prince: This is just the beginning. We can’t and won’t be stopped. No one is safe, no title too sacred. I don’t care if it’s AJ Knight, Jackson Burnside, that Edwards guy, or someone like Casey Holliday, who tucked tail and went home when things got too tough, this is my…our world now. You’re just living in it. And Chris Crippler would do well to remember that tonight, because he’s in way over his head.
Lilith arches a brow at Desmond’s remark then casts her yellow green eyes across the group and smiles.
Lilith Rising: History was made at Only the Strong Survive by each and every one of us.
She sweeps her hand over the collective.
Lilith Rising: What you see here before you is the best at everything - cerebral strategy - physical domination - natural athleticism and charisma - each the hallmarks of greatness in this industry. Each of these things marks us as so far above you on the evolutionary ladder that we qualify as a new species. We are Darwinism at its finest. We are the next evolution. We are Apex!
Jake Mason steps up and gets the microphone.
Jake Mason: This is the beginning. Most of you won’t live to see the end.
With that Jake Mason slams his cane down into the mat. A spark is seen throughout the arena as lights go out.

“The Shadow Knows” grinds out over grainy 8mm footage of The Iron Man Match from Only The Strong Survive, recapping the maneuvers that led to each fall.
Arch clocks Emma with a double ax handle to her back. Arch tosses her out to the ring apron through the middle rope. Arch hits Burnside with a heart punch. Burnside falls straight back onto the mat.
Burnside lands in slow motion and the footage tints to red.
Emma grabs Arch throwing him back with a German suplex with a bridge.
She bridges in slow motion, the footage tints again.
Burnside leans Arch over, lifts him up and powerbombs him down.
Arch’s body crunches up in slow motion, the red tint exploding out from the center of the scene.
Arch leans Emma over, lifts her up and plants her down with a piledriver.
They fall to the mat in slow motion, the red tint shooting to all corners the moment they crash to the mat.
The footage fades away.
Arch Stanton stands triumphant. The walls around him are dark, the room illuminated by dim bulbs overhead. An additional light tints the room a sickly red, casting Arch’s shadow long across the walls. He shows his teeth, but does not smile.
Stanton: They say some warriors get drunk on blood. Baby, I get stoned. I get higher than a rocket to the moon. Next level. I chase it. I wanna go there all the time. Now I can.
Only The Strong Survive. Is it true? It’s true! Maybe Jackson wanted it bad. Maybe Emma tried to hang on. They fought hard for the gold – but when we moved beyond… when it went to the next level… they went home without it. Only the strong… and there’s strength in the United States Championship.
It’s more than a badge of honor. It’s more than the history books. It’s more than the paychecks and the merch sales. It’s a Big Prize, fella. Men fight an’ die for this thing – so that’s where I wanna be. Understand?
The fame an’ fortune – the greed and vanity that drives people toward the gold… as if it were something to possess. A trophy. Like it were a stamp of approval, or something they’ve earned. No, daddy – you marks keep dreamin’. You want to be the best? Wake up! There is no best. Especially in this business. There are greats, there are legends – but the best?
It’s a lie. It’s a story you tell yourselves. A fairy tale for little brats. For every champion crowned, in any company, there are five better men stuck in the gutter. On any given night, any mortal man could wind up on his back. You might be better, but there is no best. There is no finite system of measurement. It is infinite. No ceiling, no cap. Things can go beyond your wildest dreams – it is possible.
Arch holds up the United States Title toward the camera.
Stanton: This is not a trophy. It is not a reward. It is not a symbol of rank or of accomplishment. This title is a ticket. A tool. I fought to get it around my waist , not to possess it – but to be it. Understand?
A champion in battle is a great warrior. A great warrior savors the sights, sounds, struggles- the very vibration of battle. To control the United States Title is to drive down a bumpy road at full speed. To walk into the corner bar in a rough neighborhood with both fists up… and, most importantly, to shoulder the burden of battle – the very thing for which it stands. To perpetuate, and elevate the ideals that bore it. A champion’s duty is to fight the Big Fights. That’s where I wanna be.
And so, because of the perceived value of Championship Gold – many others are driven toward it, like a beacon for their greed and grandeur. They want the fame, the glory, and the pat on the back. To prove to themselves, to their enemies, to their parents, to their exes, to their teachers – to prove that they are worthy. It’s a lie. Understand?
It’s a web. Challengers will come crawling along, and they will be ensnared. Their dreams of fortune and fame – of movie roles and security – the people who would use this leverage to leave the field of honor, rather than stay and fight… they will be shown as fools. They will face the true horrors of bloodshed, of broken bones, of The Piledriver.
Arch holds the title high over his head.
Stanton: I hold this title high, because I know other men will come to get it. They’ll do their worst to get it, as the realization of their dreams, or even a stepping stone to the World Heavyweight title. They want to come take it from me – but I don’t have it. I am it. Understand?
He shakes his head and slings the belt over his shoulder. He smacks his hand against the plate and then points toward the camera.
Stanton: I stand ready for the challenge, willing to do what it takes, and able to get the job done. This is no steppin’ stone. It ain’t no ticket to the high life. I’m right here, you sunsab*tches – right where I belong. Right where you wanna be. What are’ya gonna do to get it? Are you ready to walk through fire?
The music fades back in. Arch winks at the camera and laughs.
Stanton: We’ll see…
He saunters off screen and the scene fades back to ringside.
Cliff Morris: Our new United States Champion making himself clear!
Logan Acker: Really? I didn’t understand a word of it.

Mason tries to get out of the hold, the referee ask Mason if he gives up, but the shakes his head no. He reaches both hands around Kalidah’s wrist. Mason sends Kalidah into the ropes. He runs at him hitting him with a hard clothesline that sends Kalidah down to the mat. Mason pulls Kalidah up, and sends him into the corner. Mason looks around, and runs at Kalidah, but as he does Kalidah moves out of the corner. Kalidah drops Mason into the middle turnbuckle with a drop toe hold. Kalidah moves back, as Mason slowly gets to his feet. Kalidah jumps up hitting him with a enzguri that sends Mason down to the mat. Kalidah gets to his feet, as Mason slowly gets up. Kalidah runs at Mason hitting him with a pair of leg kicks which stuns him. Mason falls back down onto the mat. Kalidah goes out to the ring Mason. He moves up to the top rope. Kalidah leaps off for a elbow drop, but Mason rolls out of the way, Kalidah slams hard off the mat.
Cliff Morris – Kalidah took a risk and it backfired.
Logan Acker - This is Jake Mason's chance!
Kalidah staggers toward Mason, he kicks him in his stomach. Mason pulls him over, pulls him up, and throws Kalidah into the turnbuckles with a single leg takedown. Kalidah staggers toward Mason, as he dos Mason turns him around locking him into a rear waistlock. He pulls Kalidah up dropping him down with a German suplex. Fresh off his victory at Only the Strong Survive, James Edwards stands in the ring with a microphone. He receives rapturous applause much to his surprise.
James Edwards: I appreciate the warm welcome y'all, but my job ain't done so let's save the cheerin' for when it's done.
The crowd goes crazy just to spite him and Edwards audibly laughs, clearly in good spirits.
James Edwards: Gotta watch y'all. Anyways, y'all saw what happened at the end of the last show. I wasn't coming to try anything cute, A.J. I really was trying to show you some respect, man, because I was lookin' forward to another fight with the guy that brings out the best in me as a professional wrestler. I guess you don't see it that way.
He starts to chuckle, but only for a moment, because he instantly goes stone-faced with a murderous intent in his eyes.
James Edwards: You wanna' play it this way, A.J., fine with me. You saw what happened to Billy Danielson after he decided to pull silly shit on me, and you've got a hell of a lot more to lose than he did.
He leans back against the ring ropes.
James Edwards: It'd be a lot easier for me to lay your ass out when you least suspect it. It'd make it easier to beat you for the belt too, but there ain't any fun in that. I wanna earn the belt and I wanna do it when you are at your best. Otherwise, it doesn't prove a damn thing.
The crowd cheers in agreement. Edwards holds up a hand to silence them.
James Edwards: Here's the thing, I still ain't happy you trying that cheap shot, AJ. I couldn't stop the memory from playin' over and over in my mind the last two weeks. That's dangerous. The longer that memory sits in my head, the angrier I get, and the more of a distraction it becomes.I hate distractions, and you're a guy that feeds off of them AJ. I'm not gonna sit and give you that advantage like Holliday did. We ain't fightin' in July, we're gonna fight next week!
The crowd explodes at the mention of Edward's bombshell proposal. Suddenly “Until the End” hits the speakers and AJ comes sauntering out to a chorus of boos with the world title over his shoulder smirking. He asks for a microphone and looks Jame over, as he steps in the ring.
AJ Knight: JAMES EDWARDS EVERYBODY! Look man, honestly I am jazzed that you’re my #1 Contender. For real man. I’m not just bullshitting you. This will be a DAMN fine match to establish me as a world champion, and I am looking forward to facing an opponent who brings out the best in me as a wrestler. That being said I’d like to explain my actions if I may.
James Edwards mouths at him “the floor is yours.”
AJ Knight: See James, I just established myself as the face of the company, and when you do that you’ve GOT to establish dominance right away, otherwise people are going to eat you alive James. And when you’re the one in everybody’s crosshairs, you’ve got to take whatever advantage you can take. This isn’t anything personal Jimothy, trust me. It’s just business. But as it pertains to your challenge…
Dramatic pause as AJ pantomimes thinking.
AJ Knight: I accept!
The Crowd pops huge.
AJ Knight: There’s just one thing I want you to know…
AJ blindsides him with the belt, sending James sprawling to the mat! He looks up at AJ with blood streaming down his face, and a glazed look in his eyes.
AJ Knight: If you want this title, you’re going to have to be ready to do anything. And I mean, anything.
AJ drops the mic and leaves the ring with the belt in tow as the crowd boos.

“Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion begins to play throughout the arena as the curtain opens it’s Caroline Clarke and Dayna Grace whom step out onto the stage slowly with the curtain closing behind them. Both ladies smile and wave at the fans along the aisle while making their way down to the ring.
Emily Lyle - Now making their way to the ring at a combined weight of two hundred and fifty six pounds! Caroline Clarke and Dayna Grace...Euphoric!
Grace walks slowly up the ring stairs and along the apron turning to look out at the fans. Meanwhile Caroline Clarke already inside the ring walks behind Grace and the duo strikes a pose before Grace steps into the ring.
Caroline Grace: - Now that we're the United States Tag Team Champions we wanted to up the stakes and give the United States Tag Team Championship the limelight they deserve. So this is a open challenge to any tag team we sent out open contracts to many promotions that we're familiar with and that means teams, just not a team in Championship Promotions, or any team in the UWL, anywhere!
Cliff Morris - Can you believe that! A open challenge for the United States Tag Team Championship.
Logan Acker - These teams think they are in charge makes me sick!
Grace and Clarke stand in the ring, they hand the United States Tag Team Championship belts to the referee as they await to see who will answer the open challenge.
Cliff Morris - They've sent open contracts out to other promotions. So who'll answer the challenge?
Clarke and Grace stand in the ring as out of nowhere sliding into the ring as the crowd erupts Jason Cashe and Chris Madison. The crowd is in shock. Cashe with a smirk that is only Jason Cashe looks around and Chris Madison looks around full of confidence.
Cliff Morris - Jason Cashe and Chris Madison are here and they've answered the challenge! I don't know what to say.
Logan Acker - For once I am in shock!
The referee calls for the bell. Cahse charges at Grace and he nails her with clubbing shots. He sends her into the ropes. Grace comes off, Cashe throws her with a back body drop. He turns and grabs her around her wrist. Cashe goes for a suplex, Grace blocks it. She shoves him back. Grace takes Cashe down with a dropkick. She rises up to her feet as Cashe rises up slowly. She runs at him sending him into the ropes. Cashe hits off the ropes as he does Madison hits him with a blind tag. Grace takes Cashe down with a leg lariat. Grace rises up as, Madison clocks her with a lariat that turns her inside and out. She lays facedown on the mat. Madison stands over her.
Cliff Morris - That was a brutal lariat from Chris Madison!
Logan Acker - That hurt just looking at it!
Madison jerks Grace up to her feet. He sends her into the corner. Madison runs in at her, Grace dodges out of the way. Grace grabs Madison's head slamming his face repeatedly into the top turnbuckle. She turns him around and nails him with a standing dropkick. She covers him, the referee counts.
1..
.. Kick out!
They both return to their feet. Grace tags in Clarke. She comes in and nails him with a pair of forearm strikes. Clarke sends him into the ropes. Clarke goes to send Madison into the ropes, but Madison blocks it and nails her with a back elbow. He scoops Clarke up and throws her down with a powerslam. Madison rises up to his feet. He turns and nails Grace off the ring apron to the floor.
Cliff Morris - Chris Madison just clocked Grace off the ring apron!
Madison grabs Clarke up onto his shoulders. He lifts her up in a electric chair before dropping Clarke in front of him and snapping her up and over with a German Suplex. Cashe runs over grabbing Clarke's head and hitting a Jumping Neckbreaker. Madison covers her, the referee counts.
1..
2..
3..
The crowd is in shock.
Cliff Morris - I am in complete shock!
Emily Lyle - The winners of this match and NEW! United States Tag Team Champions Jason Cashe and Chris Madison!!
Chase and Madison stand with the United States Tag Team Championship belts held high in the air.
The show cuts to a break.

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!
The lights go down as "Judas" by Septogram plays over the PA system. The lyrics "You are beautiful on the inside, you are innocence personified." are the first words heard and at that time, a strobe light effect with a red hue highlights the walkway.
Emily Lyle - From Austin, Texas, weighing one hundred and eighty five pounds, Emma Douglas!!
Emma Douglas walks out, takes a quick moment to gather herself and then hyped herself up, letting out almost a roar. From there, she walks down, almost sneering at the crowd with contempt. She makes a point to stay out of range of the extended hands of the fans as she makes her way to the ring.
GREATEST
OF
ALL
TIME
"Born for Greatness" by Papa Roach plays as the crowd buzzes, as the crowd goes nuts. The first verse plays out, causing more anticipation. As the verse comes to the end it pauses for a moment. All of the lights go out again, but then come right back on in full brightness!!!
NO WE'RE NOT NAMELESS
WE'RE NOT FACELESS
WE WERE BORN FOR GREATNESS!!!
Emily Lyle - From Chicago, Illinois weighing two hundred and forty pounds, Billy Danielson!!
Suddenly, Billy "The G.O.A.T." Danielson walks out from behind the curtain to a huge pop, as he makes his way down to the ring. He's in wrestling gear, high-fiving fans as he makes his way to the ring. He wipes his feet before going up to the apron, and into the ring. The fans continue to cheer as Danielson throws his arms in the air. He slowly backs into his corner and waits for the bell to ring.
Cliff Morris - We're ready for our next.....
Billy runs at Emma nailing her with repeating clubbing shots, the bell sounds. Billy jerks Emma round throwing her shoulder into the corner. Billy keeps ramming her shoulder into the turnbuckles. Billy wraps, Emma's arm around the ropes. The referee calls for a break. Billy steps back and kicks Emma's arm as she's leaning against the ropes.
Cliff Morris - Billy Danielson is attacking Emma Douglas like I've never seen!
Logan Acker - Billy Danielson is just doing what Billy Danielson does!
Billy jerks Emma around taking her into a arm bar. He locks on the arm bar. The referee checks on Emma. She fights to get free, but Emma holds on. The referee checks on Emma as Billy has the arm bar locked on tight. The referee checks on Emma, he turns calling for the bell.
Cliff Morris - Emma Douglas is out cold.
Emily Lyle - The winner of this match Billy Danielson!
Billy stands with a smirk on his face as he looks around as EMT workers rush out checking on Emma Douglas as she's clutching to her arm and shoulder.
The show cuts to a break.

The scene is the backstage area. The self-proclaimed Queen of Punk has her bag over her shoulder as she stands near one of the many live feeds of UWL in the backstage area. Already in her street clothes following her match, she is approached by Abby Joseph.
Abby Joseph: Rosie, can I have a word with you?
Rosie Sinn: I’m all ears.
Abby Joseph: I wanted to get your thoughts on your match two weeks ago at Only the Strong Survive against Lilith Rising.
Rosie Sinn: (with a grimace) I figured that was the question, and I can’t blame you. I could stand here and make excuses that I still wasn’t cleared from my rib injury, that I was fighting against the orders of doctors, but that would be to make excuses, and I refuse to make excuses. I let myself down and I let my fans down. I have to give credit where credit is due, Lilith had a game plan and her game plan worked. I may not like her game plan, many won’t, but it’s a smart play. She already has the size advantage on me, so she lures me out with a piece of bait, leaves me like a wounded wolf, then guides me right into the trap. She walked out with a huge win in a record time. It’s impressive. It’s good for her career
Rosie claps.
Rosie Sinn: Two can play that game, however, and now she’s woken the beast. There are certain lines I don’t want to cross, but just like that wounded wolf, eventually it’ll come to that point when it’ll gnaw off its own foot and do what must be done. Lilith attacked Flip, drew me out, then had her emo fortune teller do the dirty work. She’s not the only one with a penchant for playing dirty, and she’s not the only one with a penchant for violence. This war, it’s only just begun. No one close to Lilith is safe at this point.
Abby Joseph: Sounds like you are out for vengeance.
Rosie Sinn: Vengeance? No. I’m just going to do what I should’ve done to begin with, and what I do best.
Abby Joseph: That is?
Rosie Sinn: That, you’ll just have to wait to see. Some things are best left unspoiled.
That’s when the beginning of Lilith Rising’s match starts, and Rosie turns to the live feed as the scene cuts away.

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!
“Parasite” by Ded begins to play over the PA system. The heavy drumbeats resound, accompanied by lightning fast guitar riffs. The dark, growling voice breaks in..
“What’s yours is mine...And what’s mine is mine.
You’re divine so tonight we dine.
I’ll suck the life from you.
It’s all that I do.
The normal white lights throughout the arena suddenly go out, replaced slowly by blood red lights all along the ramp and stage. A cloud of fog rolls across the stage, making it almost impossible to see anything.
Emily Lyle - From Salem, Massachusetts, weighing one hundred and fifty nine pounds, Lilith Rising!
When the verse “You’ll bow down to the terror waiting for you “ plays, a tall silhouette is seen emerging from the fog. Lilith steps forward, her eyes scanning the crowd as a look of condescension spreads across her face.
“Insatiable in every way...there’s nothing stopping me...” accompanies her long strides down the ramp. She leaps up to the ring apron and steps through the ropes as her music fades.
Troy Martin confidently struts to the ring, looking at the fans condescendingly.
Emily Lyle - From Washington, D.C., weighing two hundred and fifty pounds Troy Martin!
Cliff Morris - It's time for.......
Rising runs at Martin nailing him with a leaping leg kick, as the bell sounds. She kicks him with repeated kicks to his chest. Martin leans over on the mat grabbing at his chest. Rising runs at him planting him down with the Dead Rising (Curb stomp). Rising pushes him over covering him, the referee counts.

Cliff Morris - This one's all over almost as quick as Lilith Rising's match at Only the Strong Survive.
Emily Lyle - The winner of this match Lilith Rising!
Rising stands with a intense look on her face.

Chris Madison and Jason Cashe appear with their newly obtained UWL United States Tag Team Championships. Abby Joseph was standing by with a microphone in hand and a smile on her face as the two are sharing the excitement she is wearing in sight of them.
Abby Joseph -- Amazing! Great job guys! Congratulations on becoming the new US Tag Team Champions!
Adjusting the newly won belt over his shoulder, Chris Madison stands upright and stands before the cameras, next to Abby as the mic is placed in front of him.
Chris Madison -- Euphoric was feelin’ themselves… Right? I mean you don’t lay down an open challenge unless you’re confident that you can win regardless of who steps through that curtain. Possibilities are endless. But tonight, Euphoric bit off more than they could chew tonight and that confidence quickly became nothin’ but regret!
As Madison stares directly into the camera as Cashe prances around behind his partner and Abby Joseph. Bouncing around like he was on a pogo stick, Cashe was high on adrenaline as he wore his title like a Covid mask wrapped around his neck and face.
Abby Joseph -- Does this mean you and Jason Cashe have officially signed with the UWL?
With that question, Jason Cashe steps up next to Madison and snatches the mic from Abby Joseph.
Jason Cashe -- All that matters right here and now is that YOU have NEW United States Tag Team Champions! You watched as arrogance went to that ring carrying TWO sets of Tag Titles and you watched as that arrogance and an element of surprise COST them one set of those Tag Titles and HERE THEY ARE! Chris Madison and the DiOGee!
Shoving the microphone back into the hands of Abby Joseph, she follows up with another question. There were plenty to ask and she was doing her best to get them answered.
Abby Joseph -- What can we expect for you two now that you have won the Titles? Will you give Euphoric a rematch? What about the former Champions, The Herkmen?
Chris Madison -- We have been in this business for years upon years and neither of us have ever been someone to back away from a challenge. So if management wants to line up challengers? We welcome it. Bring talent, bring skill, bring the kitchen and bet the house that we will show up!
Abby Joseph -- Is there a nifty name we can call you two?
Shaking his head, Madison was about to answer when Cashe pushes his way into the picture again. Yelling at the microphone.
Jason Cashe -- Unnnnnstaab..
Quickly Madison shoves Cashe back, not letting him finish his word choice.
Chris Madison -- That's not going to happen.. We don’t need a team name. Our names carry enough weight on their own. I am Chris Madison and this is Jason Cashe. WE are the new U.S. Tag Champions and will continue bein’ so until someone comes and takes it from us! Get in line..
Again Cashe leaps into the picture. Once more yelling towards the mic.
Jason Cashe -- WE WILL TAKE YOUR HEART!
Putting his hands together using what looks very similar to the Miami University "U" hand sign and again Chris Madison is left shaking his head as he drops in slight shame.
Chris Madison -- He is goin’ to do his best to make me regret this…
Abby Joseph -- I'm unaware of the references being made here.
Chris Madison -- You're better off, trust me.
Before more questions can be asked, another voice interrupts the scene.
Echo Layne -- Jason Andrew Cashe!
You can see Cashe flinching as he spins around to see his "adopted" Sister, Echo Layne.
Jason Cashe -- Uh oh! I forgot to tell her I was gonna be here..
Chris Madison -- I'm gonna go hit the showers.
Jason Cashe -- Hey..
Turning back before heading out. Madison sees Cashe lift his US Tag Title. Madison nods and lifts his and the two bring the titles together in a 'cheers'.
As Chris Madison leaves the scene, Abby Joseph stands by as Echo Layne dives at Cashe. Hugging into him to celebrate his win! She didn't care that he was sweaty which one could argue made her the weirder one of the two.

Jackson Burnside is standing by for an interview with Abby Joseph. His back is to the camera for now; he is ready for his match, his hair soaking wet and body covered in sweat, and breathng heavily as he mentally prepares for Robb Daniels. He keeps his back turned away from the camera as Abby opens up the segment.
Abby Joseph: "Ladies and gentlemen in just a little bit the man standing to my right, Jackson Burnside will take on the former UWL World Champion, Robb Daniels." That is Jackson's cue and he turns around. "A few months ago, Jackson you fought Robb Daniels in a huge main event and were quite possibly seconds away from defeating the then-World Champion. Back then Robb was saved by the bell when the match ended due to the time limit, are you excited for tonight's rematch?"
Jackson Burnside blows right into a tirade, hunched forward and convulsing with intensity with every word.
Jackson Burnside: "Abby I wanna tell you something real simple, brother. Tonight these three-hundred pounds of muscle and madness are ready and eager to blow down the doors here in the Municipal Auditorium, and rip into Robb Daniels like a lion over a downed gazelle. It's like the stars have aligned. It was five months ago, here in this building brother, that I came seconds away from making Robb Daniels tap, to the awesome power of the Torture Rack. And tonight this won't be a rerun of Saved by the Bell, Robb isn't going to worm his way out of defeat against the Superbeast for two encounters in a row! Excited, Abby?! I'm hungry! And the only thing that can sasiate my hunger will be to throw Robb Daniels around the ring, break him half over the canvas, and make him tap out in front of the entire world!"
Jackson takes a deep breath and flexes. His muscles budge, veins protrude, and if you didn't think otherwise, Jackson Burnside is overcompensating for not winning the US Championship.
Abby Joseph: "It seems like you aren't letting your loss at Only the Strong Survive set you back."
Jackson Burnside: "My mamma always told me that failures are proof you tried. I pinned Arch in that match Emma, but he also pinned me, plus Emma. I'm not the brightest bulb in the drawer, but I know that two is greater than one. Arch and I traded pins, but he got the wool over Emma and became the United States Champion. I can't let that loss keep me down or hold me back. I'm gonna get another crack at that fat S.O.B. Here I am, in town for a match tonight. While I'm about to go out there and do something that Arch failed to do over and over - that's beat Robb Daniels for people who aren't following - yeah while Arch isn't here tonight I'm gonna go out there and beat Robb Daniels. While Jackson Burnside is in the ring, and clearing out the former World Champion, the only thing Arch is clearing out is a box of Krispy Kreme. I hope Arch is watching, sitting back real comfy, feet up on the coffee table, because I'm gonna show him tonight how you take care of business!"
Abby Joseph: "It doesn't seem to have you wound up or irritated."
Jackson Burnside: "Life goes on, you gotta move forward and take down those obstacle in your path. And trust me brother, Arch Stanton doesn't want to see what happens when you bring the Superbeast to his boiling point. Take a few notes and watch what I do to Robb Daniels."
Jackson is done and unceremoniously ends the interview. The large, sweaty athlete walks off camera, leaving Abby with no choice to turn to the camera and sign off.
Abby Joseph: "There you have it. Jackson Burnside and Robb Daniels is coming up, soon."

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!
They slowly walk down that ramp as the light follows them. When they reach the ring they walk up the steps and and gets into the ring. They walk over to the middle of the ring and begins to lift their hands in the air. As the lights slowly come back on they stand around and gets ready for his match.
LADIES & GENTS, THIS IS THE MOMENT YOU’VE WAITED FOR!
"The Greatest Show" begins to play throughout the arena. The lights slowly dim as the music plays while the spotlights move in sequence across the audience and back to the stage in sequence with the bear of the music.
DON’T FIGHT IT, IT’S COMING FOR YOU, RUNNING AT YA
IT’S ONLY THIS MOMENT, DON’T CARE WHAT COMES AFTER
YOUR FEVER DREAM, CAN’T YOU SEE IT GETTING CLOSER
JUST SURRENDER ‘CAUSE YOU FEEL THE FEELING TAKING OVER
IT’S FIRE, IT’S FREEDOM, IT’S FLOODING OPEN
IT’S A PREACHER IN THE PULPIT AND YOUR BLIND DEVOTION
THERE’S SOMETHING BREAKING
AT THE BRICK OF EVERY WALL IT’S HOLDING
ALL THAT YOU KNOW, SO TELL ME DO TOU WANNA GO?
Seemingly hundreds of camera flashes begin lighting up the darkened arena then suddenly the curtain is thrown back and Robb Daniels and his wife Lauren emerge from behind the curtain...Robb wears a very serious look upon his face, walking down the center of the runway with his wife in tow.
WHERE IT’S COVERED IN ALL THE COLORED LIGHTS
WHERE THE RUNAWAYS ARE RUNNING THE NIGHT
IMPOSSIBLE COMES TRUE, IT’S TAKING OVER YOU
OH, THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOW!
WE LIGHT IT UP, WE WON’T COME DOWN
AND THE SUN CAN’T STOP US NOW
WATCHING IT CONE TRUE, IT’S TAKING OVER YOU
OH, THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOW!
He stops on the apron, holding the ropes open for his wife then wiping his boots before stepping through himself. He circles the ring, removing his robe and drapes it across the top turnbuckle. He climbs up on the turnbuckles and looks around at the crowd, smiling and enjoying the moment. He tells the camera that he's the greatest wrestler to ever live before dropping down and adjusting his elbow and knee pads while the music fades.
The lights in the arena flicker and strobe madly as "Superbeast" plays throughout the arena. The lights focus down on the entrance as Jackson Burnside steps out from the back looking manic, shaking his arms wildly up as his chest with a crazed look in his eyes.
Emily Lyle - "Hailing from the Windy City and standing six-five and weighing in tonight at two-hundred and ninty-six pounds, Jackson Buuuuurnsiiiiiide!"
Jackson bounces back and forth a few times on his heels and then without any fanfair the lights turn on and he sprints straight down to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and covers an impressive distance, popping up at the center of the canvas with his hands raised high in the air. He approaches the ropes and grasps the top in both hands. He violently shakes the ropes and stops his feet repeatedly. The ropes continue to shake violent even after he releases them, and Jackson Burnside continues to hype himself up as he waits.
Cliff Morris – It’s time for action as Jackson Burnside takes on Robb Daniels. These two are no stranger to one another. This match should be a heavy hitter.
Logan Acker – Both are coming off having a bad night at Only the Strong Survive. Tonight is their chance to reestablish themselves.
The bell sounds, as both men move into a collar and elbow tie up. Burnside backs Robb back against the ropes, as the referee calls for a break, but Burnside leans up against Robb. He nails him with a forearm strike, which stuns Robb. Burnside goes to grab Robb, but Robb catches him with a pair of forearm strikes of his own, which rock Burnside. Robb grabs Burnside off the ropes, he kicks him in his stomach, as Burnside’s doubles over, Robb takes him into the mat planting him with a DDT. Robb stands over Burnside, he jumps into the air landing down onto Burnside with a pointed fist drop. Robb returns to his feet, as Burnside rolls out to the ring apron. Burnside returns to his feet, as he’s stunned. Robb jumps up nailing Burnside with an big boot knocking Burnside off the ring apron out onto the floor. Robb rises to his feet, as Burnside stumbles to his feet on the floor. Robb rolls under the bottom rope out to the floor.
Cliff Morris – Robb Daniels making his way out to the floor!
Logan Acker – Look out! This is Robb Daniels playground outside the ring.
Robb gets to his feet, he slides back into the ring, as Burnside slowly pulls on the ropes pulling himself back onto the ring apron. Robb moves toward Burnside, as he goes to grab him, Burnside blocks it, he comes off swinging throwing wild punches at Robb, which knock him stumbling back. Burnside steps through the ropes, he leans over picking up the dazed Robb. Burnside runs toward the corner, he slams him off the turnbuckles with a powerslam. Burnside turns still holding onto Robb, he runs across the ring to the opposite corner slamming Robb into the corner with a powerslam. Burnside turns holding onto Robb, he lifts him up onto his shoulders, and throws him with a sidewalk slam. Robb lays on the mat riving in pain, as Burnside stands looking down at him.
Cliff Morris – Jackson Burnside just planted Robb Daniels down with a sidewalk slam.
Logan Acker – Jackson Burnside is a big meat head and that’s how I see it!
Burnside kicks Robb in his back with a vicious kick. Robb lays on the mat riving in pain, as he grabs at his back. Burnside pulls Robb to his feet, he nails him with a hard shot across his back. Burnside sends Robb into the corner, he leans back against the turnbuckles. Burnside charges in at him, but Robb ducks out of the way, as Burnside slams chest first into the corner. Robb steps back still feeling the pain in his back, but fighting through. Burnside turns around dazed out of the corner, as he does Robb runs at him, Burnside dodges out of thew way. Robb turns, Burnside grabs him up and down planting him down with a spinebuster. He covers him, the referee counts.

2.. Kick out.
Burnside jerks Robb up to his feet. He grabs him up off the mat. Burnside nails him with a pair of punches. He sends him into the corner. Robb staggers out of the corner, leaning against the ropes. Burnside runs at Robb, he ducks under the lariat attempt. Robb grabs Burnside taking him back into a O'Connor Roll, the referee counts.

Robb rolls back, with a smirk on his face looking at Burnside who's sitting on the mat staring at Robb.
Emily Lyle - The winner of this match Robb Daniels!
The show cuts to a break.

The show returns from break.
Jackson Burnside makes his way up the ramp after his loss to Robb Daniels.
An open chair comes sailing through the curtain, striking Burnside on the leg and causing him to tumble forward. Another chair soon follows, but misses its mark and skids down the walkway. Jackson gets to his feet, confused. Arch Stanton charges through the curtain with a trashcan held overhead. Jackson tries to get his bearings, but Stanton crowns him. The can rolls down the ramp, spilling garbage everywhere.
Arch stands over Burnside, shouting at him, and kicks him in the side. He tries to kick him again, but Jackson grabs Arch’s leg and trips him to the ground. They exchange a few blows on the ground and begin to roll toward the ring, wrestling for advantage. Officials begin to hit the scene.
Cliff Morris: I think it’s officially a mess out here!
Logan Acker: Never mind the officials, call for the janitor!
As soon as officials break up the action, Arch breaks away and gets hold of a microphone.
Stanton: We got unfinished business? You ain’t had enough a’ ME? You think yer ready for The Gold, brutha? Yer ready to go the next level? Alright, pal – let’s see it!
Arch throws the mic at Jackson, hitting him in the chest. Rather than respond, Jackson breaks free from the officials and charges at Arch. He slams Stanton with hard fists, busting his lip and opening a small cut over the eyebrow. He shoves Arch up against the steps, but officials hold him back once again.
Burnside: Your god*mned right I’m ready! You want to wind me up? I’m WOUND up. You want things to get ugly? Let go of me!
Jackson struggles, but the officials lead him up the ramp. Arch leans against the ring apron and grins, blood blacking out his teeth.
Cliff Morris: Arch Stanton seems happier about it than Jackson Burnside!
Logan Acker: I’d hate to be in Burnside’s path if he breaks free!
The show cuts to a break.

Abby Joseph stands before the UWL interview set. Smiling broadly whilst lifting the microphone up to her mouth.
Abby Joseph: Please welcome my guest at this time. Chris Crippler.
Chris casually walks up next to Abby, looking rather smug whilst not truly acknowledging the interviewer, wearing his black and gold wrestling robe and his hand tapped up as he raises one up to place his index finger onto his lips,
Abby Joseph: Two weeks ago at ‘Only the strong survive’ you left victorious against Troy Martin. However the win has come under scrutiny from Troy on social media, threatening legal proceedings..
Before Abby could continue asking the question, Chris sniggers, taking his raised hand and pulling the microphone closer to him.
Chris Crippler: There was nothing wrong with the way I won that match, Ms Joseph, I simply readjusted my trunks and hit Troy with all my might. I hit really hard Abby. He was all about ancestry, money and power but lacked understanding of where he actually came from. Where I am from. Britain. We Brits are known for being ‘ard! If you watched Guy RIchie films, you’d know.
He looks into the camera with a stern expression before looking back towards the UWL Interviewer.
Chris Crippler: But Troy chose to hide behind lawyers, chose to be a keyboard warrior, instead of doing something about it he’s going to hide away and probably off our screens. You know what I say to that?
Abby shakes her head looking confused.
Chris Crippler: Unlucky. But that’s enough about the irrelevant. Tonight I’m going to be facing the new UWL Television Champion, Aiden Prince. Last time out on Saturday night programming I lost out to Arch Stanton. We all know he went on to become United States Champion. Tonight should see our TV Champ doing what Arch did, beat me, proving why he is championship material. However I am not going to lie down and allow that.
Chris creaks his neck to the side.
Chris Crippler: UWL’s opening show had a UWL Title tournament which I wasn’t qualified for. I joined the promotion too late to enter but I opened the show, triple threat, and I was victorious whilst Deimos captured that title. I started at the bottom and worked my way up! This is what I am doing here in the UWL, like everyone else, and the title I am looking at is the Television Championship. I know you’re a wanted man and many people will be aiming their arrows at your chest. I am not going to be a stormtrooper and miss. Tonight I am going to defeat you, Aiden. It may not be for the title but beating you gets me one step closer to achieving that feat.
He lets go of the microphone and mouths ‘We’re done’ to Abby as he walks off in front of her and off set as the scene switches.

Sinn grabs her for a belly to back suplex, but Cross floats around on Sinn landing on her feet. Cross nails her with a leg lariat which sends Sinn down to the mat. Cross backs up moving back against the ropes, Sinn rises to one knee shaken up.
Cliff Morris - Rosie Sinn rising up slowly looking at her handy work.
Logan Acker - That’s right her handy work. She should be proud.

They go to lock up, Sinn knees Cross in the stomach. she grabs her, throwing her out to the floor through the middle rope, Sinn follows. She nails her with a pair of hard punches which stun Cross. Sinn punches away at her with hard punches. she grabs her around her wrist to send Cross into the guardrail, she reverses it sending Sinn into the guardrail.
Cliff Morris - Justice Cross is on a roll!
Logan Acker - I thought we were supposed to be unbiased here?
They both rise up. Cross goes to grab Sinn, she kicks her back into the ropes, she falls out to the ring apron. Sinn leans across the ring apron nailing her with hard forearm strikes, which stun her.

Logan Acker - How fair is it for you to judge that Aiden Prince stole the Television Championship that's just another one of your assumptions.
The bell sounds, both men circle one another. They move into a collar and elbow tie up. Kalidah takes Mason into a wristlock. He twist his arm.
