UWL Saturday Night 4-3-21
James Edwards: Here's the thing, I still ain't happy you trying that cheap shot, AJ. I couldn't stop the memory from playin' over and over in my mind the last two weeks. That's dangerous. The longer that memory sits in my head, the angrier I get, and the more of a distraction it becomes.I hate distractions, and you're a guy that feeds off of them AJ. I'm not gonna sit and give you that advantage like Holliday did. We ain't fightin' in July, we're gonna fight next week!
The crowd explodes at the mention of Edward's bombshell proposal. Suddenly “Until the End” hits the speakers and AJ comes sauntering out to a chorus of boos with the world title over his shoulder smirking. He asks for a microphone and looks Jame over, as he steps in the ring.
AJ Knight: JAMES EDWARDS EVERYBODY! Look man, honestly I am jazzed that you’re my #1 Contender. For real man. I’m not just bullshitting you. This will be a DAMN fine match to establish me as a world champion, and I am looking forward to facing an opponent who brings out the best in me as a wrestler. That being said I’d like to explain my actions if I may.
James Edwards mouths at him “the floor is yours.”
AJ Knight: See James, I just established myself as the face of the company, and when you do that you’ve GOT to establish dominance right away, otherwise people are going to eat you alive James. And when you’re the one in everybody’s crosshairs, you’ve got to take whatever advantage you can take. This isn’t anything personal Jimothy, trust me. It’s just business. But as it pertains to your challenge…
Dramatic pause as AJ pantomimes thinking.
AJ Knight: I accept!
The Crowd pops huge.
AJ Knight: There’s just one thing I want you to know…
AJ blindsides him with the belt, sending James sprawling to the mat! He looks up at AJ with blood streaming down his face, and a glazed look in his eyes.
AJ Knight: If you want this title, you’re going to have to be ready to do anything. And I mean, anything.
AJ drops the mic and leaves the ring with the belt in tow as the crowd boos.

We cut to the backstage interview area were we see Jessie Roberts also known as the Hawkeye Warrior standing there. She was set to face off with Anthony Cross in just moments. Jessie looked up at the camera.

Jessie adjusted her wrist tape on her arm after she said this before she carried on.
Jessie Roberts: What I got to worry about is getting the victory and you got size. I mean a lot of size but you know what I don't care because what use is size if you don't know how to use it. What this is for me is a chance to move on those rankings. It's about getting chances I know I deserve and I'm going to start this journey here tonight with a win here tonight at the Championship Extravaganza. Also understand that Anthony what I do to you isn't personal.
Jessie then walked out of the interview area.

“Enforcer” Anthony Cross walks over and motions to Emily Lyle for the microphone. Emily holds up the microphone and Anthony takes it from her. He walks back towards the middle of the ring.
“Enforcer” Anthony Cross: It has been five long months since I last stepped in a UWL ring. Five long months that I had to endure Emma using my name to put herself over. But I shall digress because with rumblings of my return and suddenly Emma gets “injured.” Emma, whenever you grace UWL with your presence rest assured I will be waiting. If you choose to bitch out when you are cleared to return I’ll come find you because this thing between you and I will not end till I deem it time for this thing of ours to end.
Anthony takes a breath.
“Enforcer” Anthony Cross: Now that I have covered the business from the past I have obviously been looking at my present and future. What does that entail, Anthony? Well...I obviously can’t give away my game plan. That would just be dumb but I will say this. Do not forget. Do not forget that last year after the Coronation Cup concluded and before my injury I ran the gauntlet which included beating the World Champion at the time, Robb Daniels, to obtain a future World title shot. While AJ is preparing for his next title defense against James Edwards I just want each man to keep that in the back of their mind because obviously the World title is on my radar. Until then...who knows? I might reclaim the World Television title just for kicks. I don’t know but the possibilities are endless. Prepare yourselves because I am healed up, well rested, and ready to reclaim what is mine.
Natural Born Killaz by Ice Cube & Dr. Dre starts to play. Anthony drops the microphone and exits the ring through the top and middle ropes. He hops down to the arena floor and starts to head up the aisle way. He turns around and looks out at the crowd who begin to cheer louder when the music suddenly changes to “Ultraviolence” by Cliff Lin. The fans begin to boo as Chris Cripper makes his way out through the entrance way. At the entrance way Chris and Anthony stare each other down. They each crack a smile as Chris proceeds to walk down the aisle and Anthony walks through the entrance way to backstage.

Wearing his purple and gold wrestling robes, Chris Crippler stands in front of the classic UWL interview set looking content, looking down at his taped hand to check that there isn’t any loose bits of tape sticking out. Regular interviewer Abby Joseph stands next to the British Wrestler with microphone in hand waiting for the go ahead to conduct the interview.
Abby Joseph: On UWL Saturday Night, you defeated the then UWL Television Champion, Aiden Prince, be it via disqualification.
Chris raises his nose at Abby and snorts before looking away from her.
Abby Joseph: Tonight you’ll be facing the ‘Midwest Nightmare’ Ryan Samuels and I was wondering your thoughts of the last show and tonight’s encounter?
He creaks his neck.
Chris Crippler: You know every show I arrive, get changed in my locker room, get prepared for the match ahead and i get stopped by you pretty much every show. Can the UWL not get anymore backstage reporters?
Abby shrugs her shoulders.
Chris Crippler: You must work twice as hard as any other reporter for other promotions. I shall not mention any just in case the production team cannot censor them out for legal reasons. If they can’t afford two or three interviewers then they cannot afford legal bills. If only Troy Martin was about...
Chris glances into the camera satirically
Chris Crippler: Look I have been asked via social media about my recent histories here and I don’t know what the uproar is about. The power in my fist knocked Troy out and Aiden intentially got himself disqualified as he knew I’d beat him anyways! I’m pretty sure that should put me up their for being a contender for the television championship but my time will come.
He pauses.
Chris Crippler: Tonight I’m going to be facing the man ‘proud’ of being from the ‘great state of Kansas’. I mean there isn’t much else going for it, right? Lots of wheat which is nice. If you like a cool breeze then you’ll enjoy standing outside. Some famous aviators where born there. And off course you have Ryan Samuels! Great company. Kansas the home of Wheat, Wind and Ryan Samuels!
Chris lifts his taped hand up and gives a thumbs up in recognition of this great achievement.
Chris Crippler: He maybe a big guy but so is a lot of people. He may like the odd drink but so does a lot of people. He has come into pro wrestling from a footballing career but that can be said about a few guys in this industry. So he is just a typical guy from Kansas about to step into the ring with a REAL veteran of the sport. Someone who has championship quality about him. Someone who will represent the UWL with the upmost respect and is simply an ICON of this business. To say that is one thing, sure, but I have seen off a former multi time Tag Team Champion, a reigning champion of the television division, a man who likes to carry balls home and the only blip was to the current United States Champion! Can the Midwest nightmare say this? No. Can the midest nightmare say another defeat tonight, yes. Ryan, you’re going to learn a harsh lesson tonight and be thankful it is by my hand. Someone of notoriety rather than some muscle meat like that so-called ‘enforcer’.
Chris sneers at the thought, shaking his head in utter dismay, he then pivots on the spot and walks away from Abby Joseph.

The scene opens up in the backstage area of Thompson-Boling arena, long a bastion of professional wrestling. Rex Angus stands, taking in his new surroundings. Dressed in his khaki pants and t-shirt, and white Nike shoes. Angus looks around as he’s approached by the raving reported of UWL, Abby Joseph.
Abby Joseph looks confused as she approached Red Angus.
Abby Joseph: "Someone want to tell me what’s going on?”
Rex smirks as the begins to howl in laughter.
Rex Angus: "Who were you expecting? You’re here to talk to me the newest star of UWL Rex Angus"
Abby Joseph: "I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say."
Rex Angus: "Because I set up this interview so all the people around UWL and the surrounding areas would learn about me before I grace everyone with my presence inside the ring."
Abby Joseph: "If you wanted interview time all you had to do was ask and we’d make it happen"
Abby shakes her head as she looks at Angus.
Rex Angus: "Say what you will. You know that I’d never gotten the chance for everyone to see my smiling face before I made my debut inside the ring. I want everyone to know something before they step in the ring with me."
Abby nods.
Rex Angus: "Well, here it is. I may look like a calm, cool man with everything together. I come as the the coolest man in the ring. You get me inside that ring and you tick me off and like the drop of a hat."
Angus snaps his fingers.
Rex Angus: "Just like that I lose it. When I lose it you don’t want to me around me because you’ll pay, dearly.”
Abby Joseph looks at Rex shaking her head.
Abby Joseph: “I don’t have time for this I have other interviews.”
Abby Joseph walks off leaving Rex Angus standing looking around confused.

The picture cuts to the back where we find.
Abby Joseph is backstage near the curtain leading out to the arena when she is rolled up on my Jackson Burnside. The large athlete, sweaty as ever and raring for his match which is minutes away, whistles to get the interviewer's attention. She whirls around and doesn't seem at all surprised to see him there.
Abby Joseph: "Jackson! Hey, you're up next? Good luck out there?"
Jackson seems hurt that Abby gave him such a simple greeting and no indication she wants an interview. He sucks his teeth and sighs.
Jackson Burnside: "C'mon now Abby? Just a 'whats up' and a 'good luck?' Is that all you've got for me after all these months of friendship, brother?"
Abby Joseph: "Don't take it personally. I've got a full schedule tonight, lots to do and people to speak with. I know the kind of guy you are, and you're gonna go out there and show us what you do with actions, not words." Abby pulls out her phone and glances at it. She smiles and starts to skirt around Jackson. "I have to run. Really, good luck Jackson."
Jackson tries to stop her from going.
Jackson Burnside: "Just a little soundbite."
She effortlessly gets by and walks away from him.
Abby Joseph: "You're up, knock 'em dead big guy."
Abby is right, and "Superbeast" begins playing, the cameras backstage managing to pick up the audio from the arena proper. Jackson turns around to face the curtain. He smacks his chest once, then twice, and then his face a few times to get hyped up. He bounces back and forth on his heels, taking deep, deliberate breaths to get in the zone.
The camera switches to the arena, focused up the aisle on the curtain to the back. Jackson's usual entrance is already in progress. The strobing lights have turned into spotlights focusing in on the aisle where Jackson would come out. A few more seconds pass as "Superbeast" continues to play, until finally Jackson bursts out from the back, his usual self; a ball of energy, aggression, and excitement. He interacts with the crowd for a few moments at the top of the aisle, playing to them in a manic rage.
Emily Lyle: "The follow match is scheduled for one-fall with a fifteen minute time limit! Introducing first, from the Windy City, standing at six-foot-five and weighing in at two-hundred and ninety-six pounds, the Superbeast, Jackson Buuuuuuursiiiiiiide!"
Cliff Morris: "As we continue Championship Extravaganza you have to wonder Logan, what is going through that man's head? It's been a tumultuous few weeks for Jackson Burnside."
Logan Acker: "Listen, it' real simple. That big meathead has come to the sudden realization that he can't just walk into UWL and trounce all over everyone. Jackson Burnside may be big and strong, but he isn't going to throw guys, seasoned veterans like Robb Daniels or Arch Stanton, to the curb without a second though."
Cliff Morris: "In just a few moments he is going to face off against another long-time UWL veteran in Billy Danielson. You know that Jackson saw that Billy did to the former United States Champion two weeks ago. For those who may not remember, lets take a quick look."
Billy runs at Emma nailing her with repeating clubbing shots, the bell sounds. Billy jerks Emma round throwing her shoulder into the corner. Billy keeps ramming her shoulder into the turnbuckles. Billy wraps, Emma's arm around the ropes. The referee calls for a break. Billy steps back and kicks Emma's arm as she's leaning against the ropes.
Cliff Morris - Billy Danielson is attacking Emma Douglas like I've never seen!
Logan Acker - Billy Danielson is just doing what Billy Danielson does!
Billy jerks Emma around taking her into a arm bar. He locks on the arm bar. The referee checks on Emma. She fights to get free, but Emma holds on. The referee checks on Emma as Billy has the arm bar locked on tight. The referee checks on Emma, he turns calling for the bell.
Cliff Morris - Emma Douglas is out cold.
Emily Lyle - The winner of this match Billy Danielson!
Logan Acker: "Billy Danielson made an example of Emma Douglas, and you figure tonight he wants to- wait a minute!"
Logan stops mid-sentence as Jackson Burnside storms over to the announce table. Cliff and Logan get up to beg off a bit as others clear out to make way for the tremendously sized man.
Logan Acker: "What are you doing? You aren't supposed to be over here. The ring's that way!"
Jackson procures a headset and throws it on. Despite the detour, "Superbeast" continues to play over the sound system, but otherwise the lights have come back on to normal in the arena.
Jackson Burnside: "You talk a lot Logan. Shut your mouth for a minute brother, 'cause I got something to say. Abby may not have time for me, but I gotta say this real quick 'Cause you see my momma told me that if you got something to say and it's important, you gotta get it off your chest. Otherwise it'll each you up inside! If Billy Danielson thinks he's gonna get into my head tonight, get the jump on me like he did Emma, than he's got another thing coming brother! I don't play those kinds of games! And to Arch Stanton, Mr Big Tough Guy, US Champ sittin' in the back! You wanna talk a lotta talk, and then sucker punch me after my matches, well that's all fine and dandy brother! You may be a strong son of a gun, but I think you're also a big baby. A big, verbose, self-important baby. You wanna get me all wound up brother?! Well I'm wound up! So instead of jumpin' me from behind like a sack a garbage, let's talk it out before we duke it out face-to-face. Sorry to get up in your business like this Cliff, I'm done!"
Jackson rips off the headset and storms away from the commentary booth. Cliff and Logan start to get themselves back into their usual seats, still flabbergasted at Jackson's brazen display.
Logan Acker: "Why didn't he apologize to me?"
Cliff Morris: "As much as I like seeing Arch and Jackson go at it, I think some kind of interview between those two would be an interesting show. I'd even uh, moderate that to make sure it happens. Anyway, uh... while we get settled back in, Billy Danielson should be making his way out any moment..."
Jackson rolls under the bottom rope. He pops to his feet and starts running the ropes, hitting them each time with force as he tries to keep himself amped up and on his toes for the arrival of Billy Danielson.
Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!
GREATEST
OF
ALL
TIME
"Born for Greatness" by Papa Roach plays as the crowd buzzes, as the crowd goes nuts. The first verse plays out, causing more anticipation. As the verse comes to the end it pauses for a moment. All of the lights go out again, but then come right back on in full brightness!!!
NO WE'RE NOT NAMELESS
WE'RE NOT FACELESS
WE WERE BORN FOR GREATNESS!!!
Emily Lyle - From Chicago, Illinois weighing two hundred and forty pounds, Billy Danielson!!
Suddenly, Billy "The G.O.A.T." Danielson walks out from behind the curtain to a huge pop, as he makes his way down to the ring. He's in wrestling gear, high-fiving fans as he makes his way to the ring. He wipes his feet before going up to the apron, and into the ring. The fans continue to cheer as Danielson throws his arms in the air. He slowly backs into his corner and waits for the bell to ring.
The bell sounds. Billy Danielson and Jackson Burnside circle one another waiting for the other to make the first move. Billy and Jackson tie up in a collar and elbow. The bigger Jackson immediately begins to push Billy against the turnbuckles, but Billy is able to turn Jackson around, and deliver a knife edge chop, followed by an open hand slap to the face for good measure.
Cliff Morris: That could be a big mistake.
Logan Acker: Billy is bold!
Jackson did not appreciate that one bit, and it shows as he grabs Billy, throws him back around in the corner, and delivers multiple punches to Danielson's head beating him down to the mat.
Cliff Morris: Jackson is pounding a mud hole right through Danielson!
Logan Acker: He's cheating. He needs to let Billy out of the corner.
Danielson rolls out of the ring, and grabs Jackson's leg to pull him out as well. Danielson attempts to ram Jackson's head into the ring post, but Burnside blocks it and Billy ends up headfirst into the post.
Jackson sizes up Billy, and delivers a monstrous left hand that sends Billy to the mats.
Cliff Morris: Billy's grandchildren are going to feel that.
Logan Acker: Why can't you remain objective Cliff?
Burnside picks up Billy, tossing him back into the ring, under the ropes.
Jackson attempts to enter the ring, but gets caught with several stomps to his back. Burnside gets up to his feet and Danielson delivers multiple roundhouse kicks to his midsection, before attempting to Irish whip him into the ropes.
Jackson reverses, sending Danielson across the ring. Billy comes back with a full head of steam and leaps into a crossbody, followed by a cover.
1..
2.. Kick out!
Cliff Morris: A close count almost ends this match.
Logan Acker: Captain obvious is in the house.
Billy starts to pull Jackson up by the hair, but Jackson catches him with a blow to the midsection, and delivers a scoop slam, followed by a running atomic leg drop. Jackson moves into the cover.
Cliff Morris: Huge leg drop connects!
1..
2.. Kick out!
Logan Acker: Is anybody surprised that Billy Danielson kicked out? I didn't think so.
Jackson grabs Billy into another headlock, squeezing his head as hard as he can. Billy winces in pain, as the big man continues to try and smother him. Eventually Billy Danielson attempts to get back to his feet, and does so delivering several elbows to the bread basket, followed by a super kick.
Cliff Morris:. What a shot!
Logan Acker: Cover him Billy!
Danielson does not cover Burnside, but instead waits for him to get up.
Cliff Morris: What's going on here? Several people just jumped the guardrail and security are attempting to restrain them!
Logan Acker: Hey, wait I know that guy...
The referee turns around, noticing officials attempting to restrain several members of the audience who have jumped the guardrails.
Meanwhile, Billy delivers a running knee straight to the head. Jackson stumbles into the ropes, and Billy charges at him.
Jackson sees him coming, and catches him off guard with a clothesline. Burnside then pulls Danielson up, and whips him into the opposite corner, following him for a corner splash.
Cliff Morris: If he hits this it could be over!
Logan Acker: Cliff, that guy looks like former MMA champion Rob Jones!
Just in the nick of time Danielson moves out of the way, making Burnside hit hard into the corner. Jackson stumbles to the center of the ring where Danielson connects with thinning the herd (RKO).
Cliff Morris: Burnside misses, and Danielson scores with the thinning the herd!
Logan Acker: HEY, WAIT A MINUTE!
Billy looks to go for the cover, but suddenly John Thompson is in the ring, and blind sides Billy with The Vegas Bomb (Codebreaker).
Thompson quickly rolls out of the ring as the referee turns around to see Jackson lay his arm across Danielson.
Logan Acker: NO. NO. NO!
1..
2..
3..
Cliff Morris: Burnside just pinned Danielson with the help of John Thompson!
John Thompson stands up laughing, as he makes his way around the ring to separate the officials from the audience members…
Cliff Morris: This whole ruse was a setup perpetrated by Thompson!
Logan Acker: I recognize them now! That's Rob Jones, Reggie Martin, and Tommy Ward! They're teammates of John Thompson out of that MMA Camp T.W Combat Sports! There's been rumors that they're cheaters, and they just proved it tonight.
The T.W Combat members (including Thompson) leave through the crowd Thompson looking back at Billy Danielson, who is fuming in the ring, but he's not the only one. Jackson Burnside looks upset because of the way the match ended.
The show cuts to a break.

Abby Joseph stands with Arch Stanton backstage. Arch paces around her, the United States title slung over his shoulder.
Abby Joseph:
I want to welcome the UWL United States Champion, Arch Stanton. In addition to your ongoing rivalry with Jackson Burnside, you'll be in action, just moments from now, against Cooper Hudson...
Stanton cuts her off, inserting himself close to the microphone.
Arch Stanton:
A lot of people might not look at me as a teacher – but I hand down my share a’ lessons, see? As a walkin’, talkin’ United States Champion, I figure I’ll hand down a few more. I am just an instrument, a medium. This title belt is a lightnin’ rod, see? I think I might be filled with an unholy spirit tonight!
Arch stops suddenly, holding up his hand.
Arch Stanton:
Now… maybe Cooper don’t want to be my pupil. Maybe he don’t wanna learn life from a guy like Arch Stanton. Maybe he thinks he don’t need my advice. If that is his will, then that is his right. But the funny thing is…
Stanton leans closer to the camera and grins.
Arch Stanton:
…you can learn certain lessons whether you want to or not – ‘cause what’s happenin’ tonight is happenin’, see – no matter what kinda way you wanna feel about it. Fate (and all frequencies magnetic) has prescribed the medicine. You will take it.
If fate has struck you down tonight, then I am merely the blade. I cut you to the bone. It’s not my business to make sure it heals. If you choose to reject the lesson – it will be administered just the same. It’s up to YOU to choose what kind of a lesson it will be. You can take yer lumps and come back stronger – or you can find another job while yer still young and pretty. I don’t really care. I am the hammer. It’s not my job to make sure you pick up the pieces.
Arch stands up tall, his hands on his hips. He shakes his head.
Arch Stanton:
He wouldn’t be the first or only. There’s someone else stompin’ around back there - a friggin’ goon called Jackson Burnside. He had a hard lesson administered to him, but he didn’t wanna learn it, see? He thinks he’s been cheated. He thinks it’s not fair. He’s right. He’s been blind-folded for a long time.
Jackson Burnside! Are you listenin’ to me? I know yer back there, you friggin’ gorilla – I know yer huffin’ an’ puffin’, an’ I know you hear every word I say. Things ain’t how you thought they was, brutha! They ARE a different way.
Jackson! You think yer ready fer the next level? We’re gonna see if you can get there. Yer in line fer another lesson – much harder than the first. You might consider yerself an initiate, a great seeker of light – but that’s a flame that’ll burnya. Oh yeah, daddy – yer gonna get burned. Will you be purified by the flame or will you collapse into soft ash? I don’t care, fella – I’m just the heat.
You can wonder about it. You can feel how you want. But there’s miles to walk if you want them answers, brutha – an’ you ain’t there yet…
Arch slaps the United States title and points his finger off camera. He turns toward Abby, causing her to step back. Another wicked grin spreads across his face.
Arch Stanton:
Now, when I go the ring – just a few minutes from now – I’m gonna beat on this kid like I’m The UWL United States Champion, ‘cause that’s exactly what I AM. If Mr. Cooper wants to learn a lesson, he might be better for it. If not, then he’s even dumber than Jackson Burnside. It’s not my problem. It’s not my problem if Cooper Hudson is as stupid as any of the fans out here in Knoxville. It’s his problem, see?
Abby Joseph:
I’m not sure I do!
Abby shrugs. Arch winks.
Arch Stanton:
Then watch real close, darlin’…
Stanton saunters off screen, leaving Abby alone.

The picture cuts up to the ring.

Emily Lyle - The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!
The lights go down as the opening drum beats of "Charisma" hit. The lights scroll around the stage. Stepping out onto the stage soaking in the moment. Stepping out of the silhouette from behind the lights, Cooper Hudson soaks up the crowd as they look on in awe.
Emily Lyle - From Chicago, Illinois, weighing two hundred and twenty three pounds, Cooper Hudson!
As he approaches the ring he will take a few deep steps before slowly making his way up the ring steps. He walks along the ring apron and climbs up to the second turnbuckle and looks out at the crowd. He slaps his chest 3 or 4 times before leaning over and slapping the top turnbuckle pad and raising back up with both his arms in the air, fists clenched. He then takes hold of the top ring rope to steady himself before pushing off from the ropes with his feet and vaulting into the ring.
The arena goes dark as the opening chords of The Shadow Knows (by Link Wray) rumble through the arena. A smoky spotlight follows Arch Stanton as he comes through the curtain. He makes his way down the ramp, using a towel to swat at anyone who reaches over the guard rail. Stanton climbs the steps and raises his arms to the crowd. He steps through the ropes and flashes a wicked grin.
Emily Lyle - From Anholt, Texas, weighing three hundred and twelve pounds, he is the United States Champion Arch Stanton!
Cliff Morris - We're ready for a match. As, Arch Stanton takes on Cooper Hudson who’s making his debut here in Championship Promotions.
Logan Acker - Arch Stanton could give Cooper Hudson a rude welcome to Championship Promotions and to the UWL.
They lock up into a collar and elbow tie up. Arch moves around taking Hudson into a rear waistlock. Hudson reveres out it, moving around taking Arch into the rear waistlock. Arch breaks Hudson grip reversing the hold. Hudson moves back around into a side headlock. Arch goes back against the ropes, Hudson holds on the head lock, the referee calls for a break. Hudson holds onto the hold not break, Arch pushes him off, he stumbles across the ring. Hudson kicks Arch in his side taking him back into a side headlock. Hudson wrenches his arms around Arch’s head with the headlock.
Cliff Morris - Cooper Hudson keeping Arch Stanton at bey with the headlock.
Logan Acker - That is probably his own chance to keep Arch Stanton from clubbing him to oblivion.
Arch pulls Hudson’s arms up taking him into an overhand wristlock. Hudson lets loose of the hold slapping Arch in his side with a hard shot taking back the headlock. Arch manages to walk Hudson into the corner. The referee calls for a break. Arch steps back, Hudson steps forward him nailing him with a pair of hard forearm strikes. He nails him with a hard European upper cut, which stuns Arch.
Cliff Morris - Cooper Hudson with a hard European upper cut.
Logan Acker - Arch Stanton is stunned and I can’t believe it.
Hudson takes Arch back into the headlock. Hudson looks out at the crowd with an angry look on his face. Arch sends Hudson off into the corner. Hudson carries his momentum into the corner up onto the second rope. Hudson jumps back off with a crossbody, Arch rolls through. The referee goes to count, Hudson pushes Arch off of him. Hudson kicks Arch in his stomach doubling him over. He takes him back into the headlock. Hudson smiles from ear to ear as he wrenches his arms around Arch’s head.
Cliff Morris - Cooper Hudson is enjoying controlling Arch Stanton!
Logan Acker - That’s what you have to do enjoy your work.
Arch turns moving around. He manages to raise his knees up nailing Hudson in his stomach with a hard knee lift. Arch nails Hudson across the back of his neck with a hard elbow shot. Arch comes up nailing Hudson with a hard European upper cut, which staggers Hudson. Arch sends Hudson off into the ropes. Hudson runs off the ropes, Arch grabs him throwing him with a back body drop. Arch turns running at Hudson as he is rising up off the mat, before he straightens up, Arch nails him with a running knee lift. He goes to grab him, Hudson shoves him off. Arch stumbles back slowly. Hudson runs at Arch, he gets met with the Red Right Hand (Wild Punch). Arch drops down covering him, the referee counts.
1..
2..
3..
Emily Lyle - The winner of this match Arch Stanton!
Arch gets his hand raised and jerks it back tossing the United States Championship belt over his shoulder.
The show cuts to a break.

LADIES & GENTS, THIS IS THE MOMENT YOU’VE WAITED FOR!
"The Greatest Show" begins to play throughout the arena. The lights slowly dim as the music plays while the spotlights move in sequence across the audience and back to the stage in synch with the beat of the music.
DON’T FIGHT IT, IT’S COMING FOR YOU, RUNNING AT YA
IT’S ONLY THIS MOMENT, DON’T CARE WHAT COMES AFTER
YOUR FEVER DREAM, CAN’T YOU SEE IT GETTING CLOSER
JUST SURRENDER ‘CAUSE YOU FEEL THE FEELING TAKING OVER
IT’S FIRE, IT’S FREEDOM, IT’S FLOODING OPEN
IT’S A PREACHER IN THE PULPIT AND YOUR BLIND DEVOTION
THERE’S SOMETHING BREAKING
AT THE BRICK OF EVERY WALL IT’S HOLDING
ALL THAT YOU KNOW, SO TELL ME DO TOU WANNA GO?
Seemingly hundreds of camera flashes begin lighting up the darkened arena then suddenly the curtain is thrown back and Robb Daniels emerges from behind the curtain...with a very serious look upon his face, he walks down the center of the aisle.
WHERE IT’S COVERED IN ALL THE COLORED LIGHTS
WHERE TGE RUNAWAYS ARE RUNNING THE NIGHT
IMPOSSIBLE COMES TRUE, IT’S TAKING OVER YOU
OH, THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOW!
WE LIGHT IT UP, WE WON’T COME DOWN
AND THE SUN CAN’T STOP US NOW
WATCHING IT CONE TRUE, IT’S TAKING OVER YOU
OH, THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOW!
He stops on the apron, wipes his shoes off before stepping through himself. He circles the ring, removing his sunglasses and places them in his shirt pocket. He climbs up on the turnbuckles and looks around at the crowd, smiling and enjoying the moment. He tells the camera that he's the greatest wrestler to ever live before dropping down while the music fades.
Robb Daniels - Ladies and Gentlemen of Knoxville, Tennessee! This is a place that I will always call my home! This is a place where I met my wife and we started our family. This is the place, this is the building that I’ve partaken in some of my all-time favorite bouts against the names of Shawn Stevens, Robbie Venom, Justin Brooks and Jacob Davies. Thompson Boling-Arena...Home of the Tennessee Volunteers! I sure wish I could explain to you how great it feels to be back here in Knoxville...BUT there is a good reason why we packed our bags and moves the first chance we got!
CROWD BOOS!
Robb Daniels - The only reason we stayed here for as long as we did was because the amount of money Jay Jefferson agreed to pay me for all those years to keep my name on the marquee! This town sucks, the people sucks and your sports team suck worse than all of you stupid idiots who paid money to hear me cut you down!
[DANIELS—SUCKS!]
[DANIELS—SUCKS!]
[DANIELS—SUCKS!]
[DANIELS—SUCKS!]
[DANIELS—SUCKS!]
Robb Daniels - Say whatever you want it doesn’t change anything. But what you can do is shut the hell up and sit down. I have business to attend to...See I come here to Championship Extravaganza with a proposal. I’m a business man. A man with deep pockets and a political powerhouse! My name is all over the pages of the UWL history books. And two of my workers out in Seattle have signed on the dotted line to work as a tag team in the Universal Wrestling League.
“Jason Cashe and Chris Madison.”
“Two of the biggest names in the business who come from the same era as myself. We have a lot in common. We’re controversial, envied. We are champions. We all know that everything I touch literally turns to Gold.”
“War Machines, Mainstream and most recently the Uprising. I can help you two take the next step here in UWL and we the Elitist of Professional Wrestling can reign supreme!”
Daniels buttons his suit jacket.
Robb Daniels - I didn’t see you in the back. You haven’t returned my phone calls but you will. Trust me. If you know what’s best for your careers; you’ll pick up the phone and call me back. I’ll see you in two weeks and we can make it official!
Daniels flips the microphone as “This is the Greatest Show” begins playing once again with the show going to commercial with Robb Daniels still in the ring.

The scene cuts backstage, One-half of Team Madness is seen, Echo Layne. She has a PS2 controller in hand and is staring at the TV screen. She is really focused and pressing buttons like crazy. She was playing Max Payne. Get it? Her championship laid on the table next to her along with a bottle of chocolate milk.
Echo wasn't even dressed for her match. She was wearing sweats, crocs and a 'team madness' t-shirt with her hair in pigtails. Straight up just bumming it.
Alex Monroe: What are you doing? Why are you dressed like that? You look like your brother? We have a match, we gotta get ready.
Echo screamed and slightly jumped. She dropped the controller. She didn't hear Alex come up behind her.
Echo Layne: Jesus freakin' C word, Alex! What do you mean what am I doing? Besides having a heart attack?
Alex laughed.
Echo Layne: Whoa. Woah. Woah. I have a match. You have a match. Ya, know solo like Han Solo. I'm ready. Because this match is cake. Cake walk. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! One Jason wouldn't wear CROCS!
Alex shook her head and laughed slightly.
Alex Monroe: Girl. No, no and no. We have a match together. They MISSED our fantastic Team Work. Duh. Last minute change, Paynes vanished like all those Avengers did and never came back. They couldn't handle the MADNESS! We're facing Virtuous now!
Echo turned around and looked Alex dead in the eye. Crap, she wasn't kidding and then died on Max Payne, as she picked the controller up. Which angered her. Echo grabbed the bottle of chocolate milk and took a drink.
Echo Layne: Please don't let anyone find the infinity stones.
Echo laughed.
Echo Layne: It doesn't matter, I'm always READY. I can wrestle in anything. I can adapt to V I R T U O U S! We will still be undefeated! We will still be the tag team champions of the goddamn world. We can do anything together, solo, together, solo you name it. We go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. There's no stopping us. We're the best and we'll show Virtuous that tonight. We can adapt and overcome any and everything that comes our way.
Alex Monroe: Not gaming?
Echo turned and looked at Alex.
Echo Layne: Girl. Do NOT. This is vintage a game!
Alex Monroe: Tonight. We show them and everyone, why we're the best. Why we're the champions and why we're the best thing to ever step foot into this company.
Echo drank the rest of the chocolate milk from the bottle.
Echo Layne: I hope you're ready for this madness, Virtuous. Congratulations you're about to step into the ring with the best. Show us what you got and don't waste this opportunity.
Echo laughed and tossed the PS2 controller down on the table and grabbed her title as Team Madness skipped away down the hallway.

AJ sits backstage with the World Title sitting on his lap. He smiles at the camera.
AJ Knight: People have been asking me ever since I did it, why on earth I would hit James Edwards in the head with the World Title belt? I suppose because I felt like it isn't a valid reason to do so.
AJ chuckles.
AJ Knight: I guess I give you guys an explanation. This game we're playing? It's as mental as it is physical. I've said it before, when you're champion you've got to assert DOMINANCE. Everybody's gunning for you when you're in my position, from the opening acts, to the mid card to your immediate contender. So I have to send a message to ALL of them, that when you're facing me there is NOTHING I will not do to retain my title. But there's even more than that.
AJ shows the belt to the camera picking it up off his lap.
AJ Knight: At this level, people can win or lose this game before you even set foot into the ring. See I won this title before I even stepped into the ring with the former champ. And I'm poised to win this one before I step into the ring with James tonight. See James, you're pissed tonight. I can tell. My question is this: Can you keep it together? Can you focus for just long enough to get the job done? You've always been a hot head, and when that takes over? It ends badly for you. Nothing personal James, just business. Tonight I leave as champion and there's not a thing you can do to stop me.

Jessie Roberts: Well Mr Cross it's seems like I'm set to be your welcome back committee. Can't quite work out what this means to me in the eyes of management but hey I can't worry about that.to
Jessie adjusted her wrist tape on her arm after she said this before she carried on.

Samuels pulls Crippler up off the mat. He grabs him into a front facelock, he lifts him up and down with a snap suplex. Samuels turns, he sits on one knee, he looks out at the crowd. Samuels rises up off the mat, he nails Crippler with a pair of slaps, followed by a forearm strike which sends him falling back off the ropes. He bounces off the ropes coming back at Samuels.
