The show returns with Robb Daniels still in the ring with a microphone in hand. Robb looks around as he looks disgusted.
Robb Daniels - Nearly ten years ago you came here to the Universal Wrestling League. You turned heads with your skill, impressed the ones who mattered with your work ethic but you also ruffled feathers with that big mouth of yours. You wonder why they run you out of here when they did but it was plain to see! Caleb Hart you narcissistic asshole! You wonder why you were hated instead of glorified! You help this company for ransom for over a year!
[DANIELS—SUCKS!]
[DANIELS—SUCKS!]
[DANIELS—SUCKS!]
Robb Daniels - Now don’t get me wrong. You were good—real good actually but you walked away from this business. You left the prime of your career behind you—for what? To run away from the critics?
“When the going got tough—you left.”
“When it got too hot in the kitchen—you got the hell out of dodge?”
“What kind of Champion, simply quits?”
Daniels lowers his head looking down at the floor.
Robb Daniels - …the ‘GodKing’. Blasphemous. What kind of God turns his back on his people…better yet what kind of King turns his back on his Kingdom?
“You did! That’s right. Caleb Hart. The ‘GodKing’ himself won the ultimate prize and you nearly killed a company that people like Jerry McClean, Robbie Venom, Shawn Stevens, Justin Brooks and MYSELF built from the ground up! How dare you?”
“How dare you try and waltz right back in here…six years later and expect us to just welcome you with open arms with hand over the key to the city…again. It’s been six years Hart! Six years you’ve been gone. Four years the doors were closed and over the last two years I have proved that I’m twice the champion you ever were! This company thrived! I did things you were never able to do and that was to make others around me better, successful and keep this company profitable!”
Daniels turns his head and cocks a grin into the camera.
Robb Daniels - I am forty two years old and way past my prime but the difference between the two of us is that I still continue to get better and better. You’re rusty and washed up. You’re out of shape and over the hill Hart! You’re a quitter and you’ll never get back to where you was—because as long as I have a breath of air in my lungs and a pulse…I will continue to be the measuring stick here in UWL. I am the Headliner and you best get use to seeing my name on the marquee!
Daniels flips his microphone down to the mat and he walks around the ring with his music playing once again.

Cut to a wide shot of the arena, Emily Lyle is standing in the middle of the ring.
Emily Lyle: "Ladies and gentlemen welcome UWL Saturday Night!!! We are going to kick off tonight's show with some words from one of the new Champions who was crowned at the American Bash! Please welcome the new United States Champion, Jackson Buuuuurnsiiiiiide!!!"
The lights go dim as "Superbeast" plays over the PA system; Emily exits the ring as the cameras pan over to the aisle. Fog machines fill the arena with smoke as the spotlights focus on the entrance way for a long time. Jackson Burnside bursts out from the back in his ring gear, completely redone with a new red, white, and blue motiff in place of the bright pastels. He has a t-shirt on, another new piece of merchandise, white with red and blue text, an American flag motiff, and his name written in blue lettering dotted with white stars. The United States Championship belt is firmly around his waist. Jackson takes his time soaking in the crowd, running back and forth at the top of the aisle pointing out at and interacting with them.
Cliff Morris: "Looks like the new U.S. Champ is already capitalizing on the merchandizing opportunity."
Logan Acker: "Good, maybe that deadbeat can pay me the money it took to fix my car window."
Jackson runs down the aisle, slapping hands with the fans in the front row. When he reaches the ring he doesn't climb into it, instead opting to take a lap around it so he can keep interacting with people. He stops to look over at the announce table after completing his lap, staring straight at Logan Acker.
Logan Acker: "I hope you like that belt! You owe me some money!"
Jackson points over to Logan and holds up his other hand to his ear, making a phone gesture. Jackson shouts "have your people call me," and rolls himself into the ring.
Logan Acker: "You better believe I will."
Jackson takes off the belt and he holds it high into the air. He takes the moment to pose with the belt, allowing the fans to take it in and snap some pictures of the new champ. Someone hands Jackson a microphone from outside the ring as "Superbeast" lowers in volume before going silent. Jackson throws the title belt over his shoulder and paces around in small circle.
Jackson Burnside:
"Orlando... we did it!"
This gets a big pop from the crowd. Jackson smiles and holds the belt up in the air again. He walks in a small circle around the ring, making sure to show the belt to everyone in the crowd. Once more he throws the belt over his shoulder.
Jackson Burnside:
"Something like a month or so ago, I thought about walking away. I made some bad decisions in my life, and Arch Stanton brought me down to a low I thought I'd never climb up from. I felt as if I was a disappointment to all you brothers out there, and that I should just go away. But I didn't do that dude, I didn't lower my head in shame and go home like dog with his tail between this legs! I got up, and it was because all of the brothers out there supporting me. The brothers sending me e-mails and DMs on Twitter! The lady-brothers coming out and continuing to support me each and every week! Most importantly, all the little brothers, who still looked up to this old dude. It may me think 'maybe I still got something!' 'Maybe I can still be a role model and a hero!'"
He pauses as the crowd kicks up a chant: "Jackson! Jackson! Jackson!" Jackson points out to the crowd and says "That's it. That right there."
Jackson Burnside:
"How could I quit with fans like you screaming every week for the Superbeast to kick some ass?!"
The chanting turns into a big pop.
Jackson Burnside:
"'Cause of you people I was able to get up, realize that I'm not defined by my past brothers. I got up, every morning, I trained like I never trained for anything in my life before. I ate me veggies, I trained for 25 hours a day, and I looked up to the sky! I said, 'God brother, it's Jackson! I need you now more than ever! I got maniacs all over the world who want to see me rise up and overcome ths trial! God, brother, forgive me for what I'm gonna say, but dude give me the strength to walk into the Three Faces of Year and kick Arch Stanton's ass!'"
Another big pop from the crowd.
Jackson Burnside:
"So if the big man upstairs wanted to put me through a trial, put me through Hell, he had just the right tool to use. Arch Stanton and I beat eachother bloody and raw. We fought down and dirty like some street thugs! We fought through the prison cells for survival in San Quinton. But when we got outta there and it was time to put an end to the story, I was the last man standing. I came outta Hell like Dante or somethin' brother, and now I get to stand here with something to keep fighting for. It's thanks to all of you out there, that I am standing here, able to call myself the UWL United States Heavyweight Champion."
He holds the belt up high in the air once again. Jackson puts the microphone down on the ring canvas, climbs one of the turnbuckles and holds the belt high into the air with his hands. After a few seconds he jumps back down, grabs the microphone again, and paces around holding the title belt.
Jackson Burnside:
"There's no time to rest on my laurels. I've got a match later tonight with Billy Danielson, a UWL veteran and mainstay and just the kind of guy who might try to take this belt from me down the line. I finished things with Arch Stanton at the American Bash, but that doesn't mean that I am done fighting. My mom-... Someone told me that when you're at your best, that's when people are going try their hardest to bring you down. I'm sure a number one contender for this belt will emerge in no time, and I want whoever that is to know something: brother when the time comes, you aren't my brother anymore. And I will defend and retain my United States Heavyweight Championship."
Jackson throws the microphone down as he takes a few deep breaths. He starts to walk over to a turnbuckle to climb it and pose once more when the opening guitar riffs of “War Machine” by KISS screeches over the P.A. system. The live audience rise to their feet as one half of the former UWL United States Tag Team Champions appears at the top of the stage with a microphone in hand. Chris Madison stares down to the ring, keeping his eyes locked on Jackson Burnside as he leans on the top rope, eagerly waiting for Madison to explain his interruption. With the music fading, Madison lifts the microphone up to his mouth and smirks.
Chris Madison:
Brother…
He drops his arms to his side and shakes his head.
Chris Madison:
“
First off, congrats. United States Champion…
Madison pauses for a moment as he nods his head.
Chris Madison:
An accolade that was earned, and which you should be proud of. But pride is a funny thing. Pride can be blindin’. Right now, you’re on top of the world. You’ve poured your heart about the trials and tribulations you had to go through in order to become the UWL United States Champion. Yet, in the same breath have stood in that ring and dismissed anyone who would challenge you for the championship. Pride can be dangerous… Overconfident. Arrogant. Two weeks in, and already you’ve dubbed yourself untouchable. Impressive, sure… Untouchable, well Jackson, no one in this business is untouchable. Unless of course, you’re lookin’ to take the easy road as champion, pickin’ fights that you know are a lock. I don’t think that you’re that kind of guy.
Madison squints his eyes as if he was taking a closer look at the UWL United States Champion.
Chris Madison:
I’ll make this simple… I’ve held United States Championship gold before, as a tag competitor here in UWL and as a singles competitor over in Mainstream Wrestlin’. That championship that you’re clutchin’ onto would look great around my waist. So if you want a challenger… If you want a real fight… You don’t have to look any further.
Madison extends his arms horizontally, hoping to entice Jackson Burnside to take him up on his offer.
Jackson Burnside:
"I appreciate the fact you have the spine to come out here stake your claim to my face, jack. Maybe you can step up and be the first person to fail and challenge for my title."
Jackson steps back and looks Madison up and down.
Jackson Burnside:
"Then again, maybe not. I don't know if you're up to snuff. And between you and me brother, I bet there's a whole buncha guys back there you might take issue with you calling the first shot."
Chris Madison:
Not up to snuff?
Madison bows his head and chuckles.
Chris Madison:
Pride can be deadly. There may be a locker room of guys who want a shot at becomin’ the UWL United States Champion.
He turns his head to the left and then all the way to right, scanning his surroundings before shrugging his shoulders. He begins walking down the entranceway, gradually making it to the ringside area. He climbs up to the apron, nearly standing face to face with Jackson Burnside - only the ring ropes separate the two.
Chris Madison:
But they’re not out here. I am. I’m standin’ in front of you and you’re dancin’ around a real fight. Says all we need to know about Jackson Burnside, the United States Champ.
AJ Knight walks down to the ring with a smirk, asking for a microphone.
AJ Knight:
Gentlemen, I don’t think I need an introduction, but since it’s just good manners: AJ Knight, former World Heavyweight Champion.
AJ offers a hand to both men. Neither one takes it.
AJ Knight:
So at the moment I’m taking some time away from the top of the card. Helping build some new stars, and being across the ring from a big name like me? It can only help, even when you lose. And Jacky my boy? Today is your lucky day! See, I want that US Title. I want to elevate that belt as high as I can. Bring it just about to the level of the World title. And all the paydays that come with it! What do you say?
Madison turns towards AJ Knight and grins.
Chris Madison:
Pride can be misleadin’. I guess you expect to be thanked for your overwhelmin’ generosity AJ. It’s awfully kind of you to take a step back and compete against guys who aren’t, how’d you put it Jackson, up to snuff… Here’s the thing boys. I don’t back down from a fight and I’m persistent as hell. Jackson, I promise you, I’m not goin’ away. I don’t care who I have to go through, I don’t care how many people are involved. You wanted a challenger for your title, you’re lookin’ at him. And AJ, we just did this. You barely got over on me.
Madison pauses and looks around as if he was searching for someone.
Chris Madison:
A certain someone isn’t here to distract me. So if you want, we can ring this bell and I can humble you in front of this live crowd!
Jackson Burnside:
"Listen kids, maybe it's best you settle this the old fashion way. Prove somethin' to me. AJ you ain't at the top anymore, and Chris what have you even done? I don't like to say that one match means anything, but AJ I've beaten you... and Chris I would beat you no questions asked. Why don't the two of you figure it out, make your case to the brass. When it's all said and done, if one of you are the first to come at me for this belt then so be it. I'll beat you, because this belt isn't going anywhere for a long time... Brothers."
Jackson drops down and rolls out of the ring. AJ and Madison shoot looks at each other and down the aisle at Jackson. The Champ makes his way backward up the aisle, holding the belt high over his head. All three sides shout trash talk as the scene cuts out.

The new UWL Champion of the World, James Edwards, sits in front of his locker with the big gold belt draped over his shoulder.
James Edwards: Listen, I know it’s tradition to get out in front of the fans and give a big speech when you win the title. I was tempted too. Y’all watchin’ at home know the long road I had to walk to win this thing back and you were with me every step of the way. I ain’t heard crowds have my back like that in a long time. So thanks!
He gives a rare and genuine smile, and then gives the belt a pat.
James Edwards: But let’s get down to business. I’ve done a lot of thinkin’ the last two weeks, mostly about what kind of champion I want to be.
He eyes the belt.
James Edwards: I can't improve the tradition of it or make my name the first one people think of when somebody starts talking about it. The belt had a rich history before me and it'll have one after me. All I can do is maintain the honor and the prestige of it that was created by all the men who came before me.
He looks a little sheepish as he says it. He knows it sounds corny.
James Edwards: And I have two promises you damn well better believe I'm gonna keep. Number one anybody that pins me or makes me submit in a regular fight gets a shot at the belt. I won't duck em' or make them chase me. They'll go to the front of the line and get a shot on the next show. So if Cartier beats me tonight, she's got next, no ifs about it.
If James cares what the number one contender, Arch Stanton, thinks about his new policy he certainly doesn't let it show.
James Edwards: The other thing is that there ain't gonna be any champions advantage with me. If you want to be the best you can't hide behind a set of special rules. You take a disadvantage and turn it into a positive instead. So whoever is challenging me you want a certain fight type then I'm game. Want to take it to the streets? I'll put you to sleep on the pavement. Want to throw in barbed wire in the ring? I ain't afraid to bleed? Want submission only? I'll make your ass tap. If I can't win under those circumstances then I don't deserve to hold this.
He lifts the belt up with defiance and strength in his eyes.

Jul 14, 2021 at 2:00pm QuoteEditlikePost OptionsPost by UWL Office on Jul 14, 2021 at 2:00pm
Cliff Morris – Ladies and gentlemen, for the last month, the world has been reveling in the return of Caleb Hart to the UWL. A man often touted as being perhaps the greatest of all time disappeared six years ago without a trace.
Logan Acker – That’s right, and when he returned a little over a month ago, he made it abundantly clear that his reign at the top was far from over and, in his words, he came back to take back what he was forced to give up.
Cliff Morris – And he wasted no time as Caleb and Robb Daniels immediately got into a war that was supposed to have culminated at Beach Brawl but Robb pulled a fast one.
The screen cuts to a replay of Robb sending out Owen Daniels in his place. Caleb puts the younger Daniels down quickly and harshly as the screen fades back to the announcers.
Cliff Morris – Our own Abby Joseph caught up with Caleb after his match last week. Let’s take a look at the footage…
The camera cuts to the Gorilla Position area backstage. The curtain going to the entrance of the arena gets shoved to the side and Caleb Hart walks through it, gnawing at the ring tape on his wrists. He finally breaks a part of it and begins unraveling it as he mutters to himself, shaking his head. Abby Joseph quickly is at his side as he continues to walk. He fumes with each step, his pace not slowing down as Abby struggles to keep up with him.
Abby Joseph – Caleb, I was just hoping to get your thoughts on what happened out there tonight. You’ve returned to UWL and have won your first two matches since you’ve been back.
Caleb doesn’t answer but he slows down, continuing to remove the wrist tape from his other hand. Yeah, he says to the air as he shakes his head.
Abby Joseph – But with Robb Daniels throwing you a curve ball tonight, how do you feel and how do you respond to something like –
Caleb holds up a hand, the wrist tape dangling from his wrist. He stares at Abby, a look of anger and disappointment evident in his eyes. Sweat drips down from his forehead as he holds his hand out to her.
Caleb Hart – Abby, I’m sorry, but why would I want to respond to what happened tonight? Do you think that is what I wanted to have happen? Don’t get me wrong, in a game of wins and losses, I’ll take a win. But how am I supposed to feel about Robb Daniels essentially going full Abraham and leading his son all the way up to the mountain to be slaughtered by God? How am I supposed to feel about the beating I put on that poor kid who did nothing but what his father asked of him? That boy has a bright future ahead of him and his real introduction to UWL is to be massacred? This isn’t what I wanted…
Caleb shakes his head and finishes pulling off the wrist tape, his breathing slowing but his rage still high.
Caleb Hart – I looked forward to starting my return to UWL by taking out everyone that was wrong with this place the last time I was here. Instead, I fought and beat Autumn Raven, someone who was always a decent person to me in the past and then the innocent son of the man I really wanted to hurt. This is NOT how I wanted my return to happen. But Robb, he just couldn’t help himself could he? He couldn’t just stand up and fight his own battles! He couldn’t be a man for the first time in his life and take me on. Instead, his son paid for the sins of his father. God Damm—
Caleb lifts his arms over his head clasps his hands at the top of his head as he steps away. He just shakes his head as he paces back and forth for a bit. Finally, he comes back to Abby.
Caleb Hart – Abby, I’m a father. And one of the things that I taught my kids was that you stand up and fight your fights. Apparently, Daniels is just as good of a father as he is stand up human being and because of that, I had to put his son down.
He takes another deep breath.
Caleb Hart – No, I’m not done here tonight. Where’s Robb?
Abby Joseph – I-I, I have no idea. After the match, he disappeared.
Caleb chortles.
Caleb Hart – Of course he did. That’s what all cowa-
Robb Daniels – YOU BETTER BE DAMN SURE THAT WATCH THE NEXT FEW WORDS THAT COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!
Robb Daniels storms into view, multiple security guards rushing between them!
Robb Daniels – YOU SON OF A BITCH! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TREATING MY SON LIKE THAT?
Both Hart and Daniels try to get at each other but the evergrowing number of security guards between them make that impossible.
Caleb Hart – How could I do that? He paid for your sins, Daniels! If you had been half the man your son was, then you wouldn’t have had to see that now would you?
Robb pushes through more guards as they continue to try to get to each other.
Robb Daniels – Half the man? Hart, I’m twice the man you’ll ever be! Don’t believe me, just ask your wife and MY kids!
Caleb Hart – You son of a…
Security guards swarm the two men escorting them to different sides of the arena and out of sight as the camera fades back to our announcers…
Cliff Morris – Things got real personal, real quick and it looks like neither man was going to back down!
Logan Acker – And why would they? They want blood, and if our company is any indication, they will both get what they are looking for.
Cliff Morris – Most definitely the case and we will continue to watch and report on this as it develops further…

“Enforcer” Anthony Cross is walking out of a backstage door of the Addition Financial Arena when Abby Joseph comes rushing over to him.
Abby Joseph: Anthony! Anthony! May I get a word?
Anthony stops as he is about to walk about the door and looks down at Abby.
Abby Joseph: What was that out there tonight with Talia?
Anthony smiles and thinks to himself for an extended period of time.
“Enforcer” Anthony Cross: Simply put, it’s time that I just stop letting things be,Abs.
Abby Joseph: What does that mean?
“Enforcer” Anthony Cross: It shouldn’t be that difficult for people to understand what I am talking about. Think about it, Abs. For all those people who can’t comprehend as to why this happened tonight I’ll gladly dumb things down for all the people who need it in due time.
Anthony puts his sunglasses on and exits the Addition Financial Arena through the back door.

Echo Layne and Alex Monroe, the newly crowned unified UWL tag team champions, stood backstage. However they didn't get a chance to celebrate their victory. Instead Euphoric attacked them from behind. Like the pathetic blonde bimbos they are, Caroline and Danya lack everything and resort to cheap shots. Alex still had her ribs taped up from that cheap table shot.
Remember though, Team Madness are the Queens of playing dirty. Euphoric just awoken a different "Reign Of Madness". Caroline will get to experience that tonight.
Echo and Alex were pissed honestly, but come on they weren't gonna let this opportunity to gloat pass on by.
Echo Layne: First of all, check this out y'all!
Echo and Alex laughed loudly as they hooked arms and danced around doing smart-ass poses with each other all while they held the tag team championships up into the air.
Alex Monroe: I know, I know - we talk a lot of crap! BUT, WE ALWAYS BACK IT UP. Because WE are the best at everything WE do. Duh.
Alex and Echo laughed together.
Echo Layne: We're untouchable y'all, yet Euphoric you're still jelly? You attack us? The greatest tag team to ever step foot in this building from behind? Why?
Alex Monroe: Yeah, why? What did we do to you? Besides beat you?
Alex laughed, but her ribs were still taped and sore from going through a table.
Echo Layne: Face it, we beat you, y'all don't deserve anything. You blow every chance you get. How many chances have you had? And the outcome is always the same.
Alex laughed
Alex Monroe: You failed, remember? Just like your petty failed attempt at taking us out. But it just pissed us off.
Echo Layne: Tonight, Caroline we meet one on one, no sneak attacks. I won't be down and out from a match, I'll be one hundred percent. Can you handle that?
Alex Monroe: I don't think she can handle it.
Echo laughed.
Echo Layne: Nah, she ain't ready. She won't know what hit her. Caroline when you step into the ring with me, I'll make you regret it. Conceited I know? Just taking a page out of your book.
Alex Monroe: Revenge is sweet.
Echo Layne: But, payback is truly a bitch.
Alex Monroe: Oh and Euphoric? These bad boys?
Alex pointed at the tag titles.
Echo Layne: They WILL never be yours.
Echo and Alex laughed as they walked away.

“The Hammer” by Motorhead begins to roar over footage from the brutal Three Faces of Fear match at Americana Bash. Many dangerous and bloody moments pass by before the footage and music fades away.
Arch Stanton stands outside the Addition Financial Arena, leaning against a wall near a rear entrance. The small, quiet sounds of passing traffic hang wearily over the lot. He wears his ring gear and a worn long sleeve shirt with holes in it. He tosses the end of a Lucky Strike and looks out across the parking lot.
Stanton:
I was serious about the things I said. About what it meant to be United States Champion. How I carried it, how I was. I have no regrets. I walked into Americana Bash, knowin’ it was a big one. It was a goddamn war. I know Jackson’s got the scars forever, an’ so do I. I have no regrets.
Arch shakes his head and looks around.
Stanton:
In an instant, I was no longer the United States Champion. I walked back up the isle, I took my shower, I drove on to Myrtle Beach without the United States title. I had a hard time with it. It was a lot to swallow – but by the time I left that convention center, I knew why it had to be. I was no longer The United States Champion, because I was to be The World Heavyweight Champion.
Arch looks up to the heavens and grins.
Stanton:
Even after a night like that, I got the upper hand. I earned my spot. I’m right where I need to be, brutha – I’m on my way. I got my own plans, an’ we’ll see soon enough! Tonight? Tonight, it’s hot an’ heavy in Orlando. Tonight’s about cuttin’ down a Hero.
Arch fixes his gaze to the camera. He rolls up his sleeves and begins barking at his next opponent.
Stanton:
You wanna challenge, son? You wanna test yer mettle? You’ll get a learnin’ experience, Mark. Make no mistake. I carry the flamin’ sword an’ I will do the cuttin’! Y’unnerstand? I’m movin’ hard – yer getting’ in frontuva freight train tonight.
Arch nods.
Stanton:
Make no mistake about it. Young Mr. Storm will get some experience under his belt tonight. He’s gonna find out about a hard night an’ a rough morning. Yer gonna get beat up an’ stretched sideways. You think it hurts tonight? Wait ‘till mornin’. Wait ‘till yer tryna roll off some cement mattress before checkout time. Yer gonna see what it’s like, friend. It’ll be a lesson learned. Tonight, yer gonna see if this business really is for you. You can be fast an’ cute an’ flashy – but if yer soft, you’ll be runnin’ back home.

Arch winks to the camera and begins his trek toward ringside.
Cliff Morris: There you have it, folks – the newly crowned #1 Contender to the UWL Heavyweight Gold.

BThe referee stands around as both men are slowly rising up off the mat. AJ rises up to one knee as Edwards is down on all fours turning his way up to his feet. AJ grabs Edwards around his head as he rises up off the mat setting him up for a swinging neckbreaker. AJ goes to turn, Edwards blocks it and spins AJ around clocking him with a lariat. AJ's down, Edwards runs connecting with the Violent Gospel (Running PK Kick). Edwards covers him, the referee counts.

Yer gonna learn them things I told you. A hard night an’ a rough mornin’. You head on home an’ rest up. It’s up to you if you make the next town. You want experience? You want this business deep inside yer soul? You wanna be a hero? Be careful what you wish for, bubba. It’ll be a lesson learned…
Arch winks to the camera and begins his trek toward ringside.
Cliff Morris: There you have it, folks – the newly crowned #1 Contender to the UWL Heavyweight Gold.
