It’s been one week since the highly successful Pay-Per-View “Power Surge” . A lot has been happening so let’s get right to it.
Caleb Hart was able to retain the World Championship in a violent and brutal Tennessee Chain Match. This match was hard hitting and everything you’d expect. Due to his injuries suffered in the match Jackson Burnside will be out of action for sometime. We’ll keep you updated when we know more.
Speaking of the World Championship! We learned via the official UWL Twitter and at “Power Surge '' that the next challenger for the World Championship would be determined in a match called “Legacy Challenge '' It will be a 4 way elimination match. In order to be eliminated a wrestler could be pinned, forced to submit, or thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. The last person standing in this match will get their shot at Caleb Hart and the World Championship on October 29th at Championship Extravaganza on AGN TV.
We have learned that the governing Universal Wrestling League board members met earlier today at the offices to discuss numerous subjects. What was discussed? We have no idea as of this writing. But we will keep an eye on this situation. What we were told was numerous big announcements would be coming in the upcoming days.
Anthony Cross was able to retain the Heritage Championship at “Power Surge” in a classic match with Mark Storm. Cross has made it known his ultimate goal is the World Championship but he has made it known he’s going to make the Heritage Championship just as important as the World Championship.
Everyone is talking about the shocking actions of Robb Daniels during the Television Championship match at “Power Surge” Where Robb Daniels cost Billy Danielson the Television Championship. The match was won by new Television Champion Nick Danger. But what everyone was talking about was Robb Daniels' shocking actions.
S2K of Watson and Richardson was able to retain the UWL Tag Team Championship in a brutal cage match at “Power Surge” S2K has been on a tear as of late taking the wrestling world by storm.
That's all we have for now until next time!
