Championship Extravaganza 10-29-22

The picture cuts across the arena and cuts to the ring.



Emily Lyle - The following contest is an open challenge for the UWL Tag Team Championship!!

The lights go out and suddenly Mamma Said Knock You Out begins to play a spotlight ascends upon the entrance and out steps Garland Brown and Silas Adler, Absolution. They step up and look at the crowd slowly walking down the aisle.

Emily Lyle - At a total combined weight of four hundred and eighty nine pounds, Garland Brown and Silas Adler, they are the UWL Tag Team Champions, Absolution!!

Brown and Adler go to their corner with an intense look on their faces.

Cliff Morris - Absolution are the new UWL Tag Team Champions after their win they issued an open challenge. We’ll see if anyone answers this open challenge.

Logan Acker - Surely someone will step up.

Cliff Morris - We’re about to find out.

Garlan Brown - We’re the UWL Tag Team Champions right here in the middle of this ring. But we can’t find anybody to get in the ring with us.

The crowd boos.

Garlan Brown - Here we are the UWL Tag Team Champions and we can’t find anyone to wrestle. Two weeks ago we won these belts and sent those two goofs running with their tails between their legs.

Silas Adler stands smiling from ear to ear as the crowd boos.

Garlan Brown - We don’t want to wrestle singles matches, we're tag team champions and we want to wrestle tag team matches. We’ve run over every team we’ve faced since coming here. When you’re at the top of the mountain knowing that you ran over everyone put in front of you where there is no one left.

The crowd boos as Silas Adler laughs his head off.

Silas Adler - I have one question. Where have all the great tag teams gone? Where are they? Because we extended an open challenge and we can’t find any competition. We’re the UWL Tag Team Champions. We want the very best. But there’s no one to be found.

Brown steps around.

Garlan Brown - I guess all the teams around here have left after we won the UWL Tag Team Championship because they knew what they’d have standing in front of them if they answered our challenge.

The arena lights slowly go down as "Euphoria" begins to play throughout the arena. Slowly out steps side by side, Drake Beckett and Levi Sutton. They stand side by side, looking at one another. Drake Beckett has a microphone in hand.

Drake Beckett - No tag teams? Are you two blind?

Beckett looks at Sutton.

Drake Beckett - You two have an open challenge. Tonight we’re accepting your open challenge!

Cliff Morris - The open challenge has been accepted!!

Logan Acker - Drake Beckett and Levi Sutton have accepted the open challenge for the UWL Tag Team Championship!!

Beckett and Sutton run down the aisle. They slide into the ring, the bell sounds. Beckett and Adler start trading punches. Sutton and Brown are going at it with back and forth punches. Sutton tosses Brown over with a back body drop. Adler and Brown slide out to the floor.

Cliff Morris - We’re finally ready to get this UWL Tag Team Championship open challenge match underway!!

The referee finally calls for the bell getting the match started. Silas Adler and Levi Sutton. They slowly move around one another waiting for the other to make their first move. They slowly move into a collar and elbow tie up. Adler takes Sutton around into a side headlock. He wrenches his arms tight around Sutton’s head. Sutton sends Adler off, he runs hitting off the ropes back at Sutton. He charges at Adler, sending him down with a running shoulder block. Adler slowly gets to his feet, he moves around Sutton, as both men stare at one another. They lock up, as they do Adler grabs Sutton around his arm into an arm wringer. He twists his arm around, as Sutton reverses it, taking Adler over with an arm drag. Both men get to their feet, as they do Adler runs at Sutton hitting him with a kick to his stomach. Sutton doubles over, as Adler grabs Sutton around his head, dropping him down with a swinging neckbreaker. Adler gets up quickly, tagging in Brown. He makes his way up to the top rope jumping off landing down onto Sutton with an elbow drop. Brown covers him, the referee counts

Brown grabs Sutton around his head into a side headlock. Sutton sends Brown off into the ropes. He runs back at Sutton, he locks his arms around Brown throwing him with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Brown staggers up to his feet, as he does Sutton connects flush in his face with a running big boot knocking Brown back into the ropes, he falls through the ropes out to the floor. Sutton turns to Beckett. He makes his way into the ring, he runs across the ring, and dives out to the outside hitting Brown with the suicide dive. Beckett gets to his feet. Beckett pulls Brown up to his feet, he shoves him back into the ring. Brown rolls back into the ring. Beckett follows close behind him. Brown stumbles up to his feet. Beckett charges at him connecting with a running European uppercut. Brown falls back into the ropes with a stunned look on his face. He moves away from the ropes, as he does Beckett grabs Brown dropping him down with a cradle suplex. Beckett turns, he covers him, the referee counts

Beckett gets to his feet, he tags in Sutton. He makes his way into the ring. Sutton grabs Brown hitting him with a European uppercut, he falls back into the corner. Sutton grabs him around his wrist sending him across the ring into the opposite corner. He runs in at him, but Brown moves out of the way. Brown runs at Sutton hitting him with a dropkick in the back of his head. Brown gets to his feet, he makes the tag to Adler. He grabs Sutton around out of the corner, he looks to lock on the abdominal stretch, but Sutton reverses it hip tossing Adler over. Sutton pulls Adler to his feet, he sends him into the ropes. Adler runs off the ropes, and gets met with a hard clothesline. Sutton pulls him towards him before he falls back. Sutton leans Adler over, he lifts him up, and drives him into the mat with a belly to back suplex. Sutton leans over him covering him, the referee counts

Sutton gets to his feet, he grabs Adler into a half nelson. He lifts him up to release a German suplex, but Adler flips over landing on his feet. He runs up behind Sutton dropping him face first with a bulldog. Adler pulls Sutton up to his feet, he shoots around him, and goes for a German suplex, but before he can lift Sutton up, he reverses around behind Adler. Sutton lifts Adler up sending him into the mat with a German suplex suplex. Sutton gets to his feet, he makes the tag to Beckett. He moves into the ring. Adler slowly gets to his feet. Beckett charges at Adler for a clothesline, but he ducks under it. Beckett turns around, as he does Adler catches him with a kick to the stomach. He grabs him around his head dropping Beckett down with a snap suplex into a cover, the referee counts

Adler gets to his feet, he makes the tag to Brown. He moves into the ring, as Beckett gets up to his feet. He grabs Beckett around his arm, sending him into the ropes. Beckett this off the ropes, as he does Brown runs at him hitting him with a running back elbow. Beckett stumbles around, as Brown jumps up, sending him down with a standing dropkick. Brown gets to his feet, he moves back into the corner onto the second rope. He jumps off landing down onto Beckett with a forward elbow drop. Brown gets up to his feet, he steps through the ropes out to the ring Brown. He jumps off for a diving elbow drop, but Beckett rolls out of the way. Brown rolls around on the mat holding his arm in pain.

Cliff Morris – Garlan Brown riving in pain!!

Logan Acker - Drake Beckett needs to jump on Brown and get on the attack!!

Beckett pulls Brown up to his feet, he connects with a European uppercut. He pulls Brown towards him, he pulls him up and down with a belly to belly suplex. Beckett gets to his feet, he tags in Sutton. He steps into the ring, as he leans over to pull Brown up, but he pulls Sutton over into a small package, the referee counts

Sutton pulls Brown up to his feet. The referee is checking on Beckett as he’s leaning over in the corner. Adler is on the floor and grabs a chair. Sutton runs Brown toward the ropes. Brown dodges out of the way. Adler clocks Sutton with a chair; he falls back and Brown covers him. The referee turns sliding in confusion and counts.

Brown and Adler take the UWL Tag Team Championship belts as Beckett checks on Sutton shaking his head pointing at Brown and Adler screaming at them as they stand on the floor with the belts in hand.
